Answer
Cherry Blossoms look very pretty and dainty around the ankle and onto the foot. Although, It is painful. Your first tattoo should be on another area to make sure you can handle the feeling. On the back shoulder blade is a good area, that can be easily hidden. But the foot has no muscle or meat so its very painful. Hope this helps good luck to you. There addictive, so be careful...lol

I want a tattoo with a girl and a bird cage but I cant find anything small and girly that I like..:s links?

Q. I saw one on someone while I was away but I cant find anything thats similar and I really loved it. :\ good websites for tattoo designs or any similar ideas?

Answer
If you have made up your mind and sure of it, try asking a good tattooist to design it specially for you.

These are not tattoo designs but are cute bird cage, just a little sad that birds are being caged.

Tattoo ideas please.?

Caitlin

Well, I have some ideas, but I just want some more. it's my first tattoo, i'm sixteen, girl. I was thinking, hip, side, or neck. I want something meaningful, original and creative, I'll tell you a bit about me, and see if you can think of anything? any ideas would be awesome or tips. Something maybe about moving on with life. I've always been moved around as a kid, my dad was abusive and died of drug od, i've struggled with eating problems and suicide. But my life is turning up and I want a tattoo that shows that i can always make it through and everything will get better. Maybe a quote, I was thinking maybe a bird out of a cage or a feather breaking off into birds. Idk, any ideas or creative things. Thanks!

Answer
What about a phoenix? Phoenixes symbolize rebirth and freedom.
Or you could get the bird flying from its cage. However, maybe add the bird dropping a sprouting seed to symbolize not only freedom, but growth.
Go to some tattoo shops (or websites) in your town, look at the portfolios of the artists, and see what you like. When you find an artist you like, talk to him/her about some ideas, they may be able to help more.

Also, I would strongly advise you to not get the tattoo on your neck or anywhere too conspicuous at this point.

Are lyric tattoos more for girls?

some guy

I have never seen a guy with a tattoo of lyrics from a song. I've only seen girls with it. Why is that? Is it like a feminine thing? for example I've never seen a guy with a lower back tattoo either.

I really want to get a short lyric tattoo like one or two lines from my favorite rock song. But should I?

Answer
I have a tattoo that has lyrics under it and I'm a guy. Just depends I guess.

are tattoos and piercings a turn off for a guy?

Q. where is the best place for a sexy tattoo?.

Answer
Yes. Most men like their women to be as elegant as possible. They might like to have fun with party girls but when it comes time to settle down, they want a lady.

Elegance & Tattoos: Why not?

Cinders

**Do you think tattoos could ever be considered elegant?
**Why does our society have such a strange mindset to successful, down-to-earth women having tattoos? As if they should be embarrased, or cover them up?
**Is there such thing as a "classy/elegant tattoo"?

Answer
Tattoos are beautiful but it depends on who you ask. I've loved them forever!!! Only recently got one. I see nothing wrong with them and I could care even less about ppl who do.

If society would stop judging others by their actions the world could be a MUCH MUCH nicer place to live in!

Two each is their own!

If you dont like something dont do it!

Anyone think getting a Tattoo of stars is stupid?

Pom

This girl I know in my grade is getting 3 small stars on her wrist she says, does anyone think that's extremely pathetic?

Like it really annoys me, everyone I know gets stars, and that's it, it's tacky and overrated and unoriginal.

What do you think?

Answer
It honestly does not make sense to say that a star tattoo is unoriginal or overly done. Yes a lot of people have star tattoos but there's also a lot of people out there w/ tattoos of skulls, flowers, birds, hearts, lovers names, birth signs, and so on and you don't see them getting bashed. I think bashing star tattoos is a "fad" at the moment until sometime finds a new tattoo design to pick on. Who's to say that a star doesn't mean something to the person, yes people get it just to get but so what?! There's lots of people who do get a tattoo because it means something and others do it just to say hey look I have a tattoo. It's there choice so why would a design on somebody Else's body bother you so much? People need to quit being so judgmental of other people's art because you don't know why they got it and overall it's nobodies business but there own.

Harry Potter tattoo ideas?

CurlyHurle

I am really into the deathly hallows symbol and a lightning bolt, but I am just trying to think of some other ideas. (I am thinking on my wrist, inner arm, or ankle.) I love Ron and Snape, so any short quotes or words that are really meaningful to those characters would be greatly appreciated. Or any small pictures or symbols (i dont want anything big, so simple things are encouraged)

P.S. - only serious suggestions please. Don't try and tell me not to get a Harry potter tattoo, cause I will anyway.

Answer
A girl who works at the bookstore I go to has the deathly hallows tattooed on her chest an it's really cute. A friend has "Mischief Managed" across her lower back. Me? I have the 3 stars that appear on the actual book pages on my shoulder blades :). Good luck with whatever you decide!

followers of Christ...Tattoos?

Leviticus 19:28
" Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD."
I am interested in a personal tattoo, but I want to be absolutely sure that it does not go against God's will. I turned to the book of answers and found the verse above... What does it mean to me? It seems clear that the Lord is talking about "cutting and tattooing" FOR the dead.. maybe as a sacrifce? no where else does it specify in general ANY tatoo. Ofcourse as a christian woman i do not plan to get one that degrates me or tthat is corruptive but i simply want small musical notes, and a one of my favorite verse incorporated with the design...
please any advise, it will be greatly appreciated...
I put God first and want to hear other facts from followers of christ... maybe you know what i do not. Before I make a final decision.
Thank you in advance.

Answer
My tattoo is actually an interpretation of a bible verse. It is Matthew 3.16 , when Jesus is baptized . A dove comes down from the heavens and lands on him. In some Bibles, it goes on to say the dove remained there forever. For that reason, I have an image of a dove, taken from a very traditional Irish cross that my grandmother willed to me, tattooed on myself.

what nice tattoo could i get to symbolise freedom?

im a woman and im looking for a tattoo that symbolises freedom - kinda like "love each day" kind of freedom. i dont want a bird or anything like that cause i think that looks better on men, let me know of your ideas...

Answer
A dove.

A dove symbolizes love and freedom, and looks much better on a woman than a man.
If you don't want that, try these ideas:
- A broken padlock
- Foot prints
- Eagle
- Wings
- Broken shackles

Good luck honey!

What is your opinion on tattoos on women?

DollieDee

Do you find it sexy?

Answer
I agree with R.T. I think tattoos on women look skanky. I think a majority of guys are turned off by tattoos on girls, but I acknowledge that a minority of guys are turned on by them, mainly because they fantasize a quick and easy conquest, kind of like with groupie chicks that hang out back stage to join in a gang bang with a rock star.

Let's say a woman is just starting out in life, like a freshman in college. It would be unwise to cave in to peer pressure and get a tattoo. A young woman hopes someday to meet the right guy, and maybe have a great career. By getting a tattoo, she is immediately limiting her field of prospects in meeting the right guy, because a majority of men would not consider being intimate with someone with a marked up body. Also, if the tattoo is visible, it could seriously impact her career opportunities in the future, if not for initial hiring, then later when considered for promotion.

Tattoos are FOREVER. Remember laser removal attempts are not always successful, and even if they are, they are expensive and painful.

Yes, there are initial benefits to getting a tattoo. You are temporarily the center of attention when you show off your tat to your friends. But even this type of attention is not as great as it used to be, because getting tattoos among young people is so common, that people will think you are more special if you remain au natural. You may show off a new tattoo to some guys. They may give you lip service and say it's cool, but then again they might say anything to please you if they think they can score. Tattooed girls are the kind of girls guys want to hump and dump, not the kind they want to stay with long term and introduce to their family.

Tattoos on woman, opinions?

kaitlyn

Tell me your opinions about tats on woman

Answer
Tattoos are great if done right. It adds sex appeal, but there is a fine line. If you end up with an poorly thought out tattoo in the wrong spot it will do quite the opposite for a guy.

Who cares when your 80-90 with a faded tattoo.....that should be the last of your worries. At that age, you are just worried about waking up in the morning. I see an old lady with a tattoo now and I think how cool she might have been when she was younger.

Inside of Wrist Tattoo?

What do you think of that placement, for girls? I want to get a feather, and am trying to decide where. Do you think a small feather on the inside of the wrist would look okay on a girl? Does anyone here have any inside of wrist tattoos?
I know for sure that I want a feather, and it would symbolize a lot to me. I'm a writer (quill), I named my first guitar Feather :), it symbolizes flight, etc. But I just can't decide where to put it!!
I figure that if I need to cover it, i could use a big bracelet or watch, or long sleeves.

Answer
Tattoos are supposed to be a sign of self creativity...but yes a feather on the inside of the wrist is a good idea, especially for a girl...sounds hot actually. Another place that's hot is behind the ear.

Tattoos on Girls?

Tonster

Do you think they are unattractive on girls. If I did, it would be music notes behind my ear and a design of a star moon and sun on my hip for my faith. Thanks

Answer
It all depends on what you get and who you have it done by.

Personally, I think most tattoos are gorgeous on the body (male or female). I've seen some massive tribal work done on girls and it was amazing. Your tattoo ideas sound lovely and would be rather easy to hide anyway.

At the end of the day though, it all depends on what you think and what you want to do with your body.

Boys, what tattoos do you like on women?

XxMissCook

So what kind of tattoos do you think look awful and which ones look amazing? Where abouts on the body? How big? Put a link to a pic if you like =] thanks xo

Answer
I agree with Chris above and the "all for one" answerer above Chris. Definitely try to get something meaningful to you, not something cliche (unless you have a legitimate reason for getting a butterfly, or the Chinese word for "joy"). And of course whether somebody likes the tattoo or not will depend on the viewer - eye of the beholder and all that. Agree that a single tat on the upper arm is kind of masculine, but it really depends more on the tattoo and how it fits with the body and the style + personality of the girl. That is my stance on tattoos in general, for men and women.

I knew a girl who got on her bicep this huge, evil, bright pink bunny wearing an old style hockey ski-mask (think Friday the 13th, Jason style) and shooting a machine gun . It was definitely bright and vivid, but seemed a bit masculine and I didn't get it at all (and I'm guessing others didn't either). But I think if the tattoo had been more feminine looking it might have been okay.

Tattoo of the word "happy"?

Paige

So, I've been wanting a tattoo for a very long time and I wanted to get some opinions on this idea that I had. I want something fairly simple but also meaningful to me. I absolutely adore the artist Marc Johns and his "what to focus on" piece is by far my favorite. So my question is, what is your opinion on getting just the word "happy" tattooed like it appears in Marc Johns work on my wrist? (just the word, not the rest)

Here's what Marc Johns piece looks like just for reference,
http://www.marcjohns.com/blog/2010/09/what-to-focus-on.html

Any opinions are appreciated!
Thank you!!
Ok, so a lot of you guys are saying not on the wrist and that's what I was having a problem with as well (having it there in a working situation would probably not be the best). Where else would you recommend getting this kind of tattoo? I really don't want it to look trashy and would not want it in a spot that could stretch and deform with having kids and such.

Answer
I think it sounds great! It's a more unique word instead of the typical "believe" or "strength" tattoos. Hey, don't ask us! We don't matter! Asking online just attracts judgemental people. If it was my tattoo, I wouldn't get it on my wrist, but that's just my personal preference because a lot of young women (teens) seem to get word tattoos on their wrist. But that's just my tastes. :)

Tattoo quotes for girls?

MyCatIsCal

These are some of my favorites:

"And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music."

"We will all laugh at gilded butterflies"

"A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages"

Any others to add??

Answer
The first one seems a bit long. Its my favorite quote but I think the shorter the better, its more effective for tattoos.

The second one, Megan Fox has so you will just seem like a copy.

The last is very sweet. You could get that and even get a bird cage next to it.

I like the last one for a tattoo idea best though.

You could look into just getting one word that means something to you? Such as 'believe' or 'belong' or 'strength' or 'dream' anything! Its short and sweet and you could find something that has a lot meaning to you

Good luck

What would be a good quote to get tattooed on my chest?

*whispe

Well I really wanna tattoo across my I was thinking of getting "You cant go back to yesterday for yesterday is gone" what do u guys think of that one? Or do u no any quotes like that
ALL UR ANSWERS SUCK! AND FYI I HAVE 36 D So FU!! AND IM TALKING ABOUT BY MY COLLAR BONE NOT ON MY BOOBS!..........
OOH AND BOOBS CAN BE TATTOOED IVE DONT PLENTY OF TATTOOS ON WOMEN'S BOOBS WITH NO PROBLEMS :)

Answer
So many negative answers....I don't have a quote for you because I don't know what is meaningful to you. But I can tell you this. I am a 25 year old woman who has chest tattoos. They are about the size of a fist, starting directly under my collar bones to the top of my breasts. I have an entire wardrobe of office appropriate clothing that covers them, and I get genuine compliments on my clothes at least once a day, so it's not like it's ugly clothing either. If you want a chest tattoo, go for it. I got mine done four years ago, and I'd do it again tomorrow if I had to. I love them. They are the first thing I see in the mirror each morning and the last thing I see in the mirror before bed.

Tattoo quote Ideas HELP need opinions!!!?

sergio

I want to get a chest tattoo quote. I want it to be meaningful but short & strong. It cant be no more than 5 words.
About my self: Im very motivated person, strong , have ambition, determination, believe in god, love pushing myself. Im just a warrior.

Im looking for something for example like this

"Against All Odds"

"Let Go - Let God"

Which one do you like? So please if you have any suggestions or ideas feel free to comment below :)

Answer
What are wanting to accomplish with your tat?

*Attract women or men?
*Profess your religious fanaticism? (most tats screaming about God are NOT signs of Faith. The Bible expressly warns against such false shows of faith in God)
*Make people look at you when you take your shirt off?

It's certainly NOT for you. YOU will NEVER see or read what you put on your chest. You are doing it to show off for some reason only YOU know.
OTHERWISE, you'd make it small and somewhere YOU could see it, like your inner arm or wrist.

So it's very hard to suggest which phrase (of no more than 5 words) will best fit your expressionistic needs for your intended audience.
What is "meaningful" for you would be something YOU could read and be inspired by.
But a meaningful quote for a meat billboard really won't motivate or inspire anyone who sees it across your chest, and you'll never see it, except upside down as you stare at your chest, or backwards when you look in the mirror...

I think both of them suck. "Against all odds" is stupid. You'd be dead, so gee, what an accomplishment. Join the other 7 billion people on the planet. We ALL are here against the odds...dur.

"Let go - let God" is about as FAR from " Im very motivated person, strong , have ambition, determination, as you can get." You are NOT strong if you have to let God choose for you. God gave Man free will. It's in Genesis. He did it for a reason, and that was NOT to pretend that HE chooses for you. Same with motivation. What motivation if you expect God to do it instead of you?
So in addition to false proclamation of your faith, you choose a phrase to compound the irony and falseness...lol.

My suggestion? Skip the tat, and try to memorize a new quote every week. Then you'll at least show the INTELLIGENCE to use a quote for you, INTERNALLY, rather than as a lame piece of "LOOK at MEEEEEEeeee!!!" attention grabbing...

And I have 3 tats, one on my wrist for ME, one on my back shoulder for lovers, and one on my butt for an ex as personal closure.

You don't ask strangers about your tats. Your tats are supposed to MEAN SOMETHING to YOU, and where you place them should be just as meaningful. Not just to make yourself living signage...

Your opinions on tattoo placement?

TheGothicW

I'm trying to figure out where I should get my next tattoo (a Cheshire Cat in black and grey). The ability to cover it isn't much of a concern since I passed that point when I got my forearm tattooed. I'm quite fond of the idea of getting it on my stomach along the curve of my hip bone (Example: http://www.ratemyink.com/images/ul/278/Vines-and-Flowers-tattoo-27869.jpeg). I know many people think "Oh my god don't get tattooed there," so what's your opinion of that placement? I'm 5'9 and 130 lbs, I do A LOT to keep my figure, and having kids is out of the question for me...
I also like the idea of getting it on my ribs (http://www.tattoostime.com/images/234/compass-tattoo-on-rib-side.jpg), or my lower back (http://tattoos-and-art.com/wp-content/gallery/lower-back/side.jpg).

What are some other places that come to mind? What are some possible pros and cons about those placements? Also, I eventually want to get a back piece, so I wouldn't want it on my shoulder or anything.

I know that it's ultimately my decision to make, but hell, maybe you guys could give me some ideas :)

One more question that's somewhat unrelated to the preceding one, what's your opinion of chest tattoos on women? (http://www.tattoo-pics.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/chest-tattoos.jpg) ...not necessarily the tattoo itself, just the placement of it.
Damn, it appears that none of the links I posted are correct -_- sorry about that. I think I explained the hip bone and chest tattoos well enough already
by "on my ribs" I mean on my side, around where my bra strap would be
and by "my lower back" I mean where a "tramp stamp" might be, but higher up and to the side. It wouldn't cover the entire width of my back either.
Sorry about the links :-/

Answer
Tattoos are super cool! But chest tattoos arent right for women. In my opinion. I feel like placing on right above your cleavage is just asking for attention and might draw in the wrong kind of people. And Please do not get it on your lower back or chest. No tramp stamps gurll. I think your hip bone might be a good idea! I think full back pieces are also really cool

http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lpzsr3n99a1qfk6vyo1_500.jpg I think this one is really cool!!!
Or the cheshire cat going from your stomach to your back. Almost like climbing up you would look super cool

http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8wuwr5UCM1r37qzbo1_500.jpg
Chandelier tattoos are really cool for backs. I would totally do a cheshire cat hanging from a chandelier on your back that owud look sick!!! Also pick the right tattoo artist. Never try going for the cheapest tattoo when its something that will be on your body for the rest of your life!

questions about tattoos?

Kara Lenne

hey i really need answers for these questions! and please tell me whether you're experienced or not.

1. let's say if i wanna do a tattoo that my bra hook will cover. so basically there's something tight wrapping around my tattoo. would it make it worse? would pressing against the tattoo forcingly disrupt the shape of it?

2. let's say i've done a tattoo on an area that has excessive fats. okay my belly for example. then i decided to work out to get rid of the excessive fats, would the tattoo be affected?

3. and what are the don't dos when your tattoo is recovering?

Tattoo ideas??

Miranda

I already have 3 tattoos.. i wanna get a new one to symbolize the changes in my life that i have made... ive griwn into a mature, strong, independant woman so any ideas?

Answer
If you have to have one get the Chinese character for strength. I would have to question how independent you are though if you need a tattoo to show around as well as the fact you ask what to do on Yahoo.

Better take a college course. That will change your life.

Girls with big tattoos?

KD69

I'm thinking of going over my tattoo, and maybe enlarging it at the same time. It covers the whole space between my shoulder blades, will it look weird if it were bigger? I've been told big tattoos only look good on guys or really pumped women.

Answer
If it's what you want, get it. Better to have a tattoo that some people might have some backwards opinions about than a tattoo that you don't totally love.

Hell, I'm almost done getting my entire side tattooed, from my boob all the way down to my upper thigh, and then I'm going to get most of my other thigh done and some of that side too. Who cares what other people think? If you want it, get it. It's your skin, not anybody else's.

tattoo artists wont tattoo my head, why?

mr jones

I am 21 want two tattoos on the side of my head. I have asked acouple questions about tattoos and a few people have said artists wont tattoo your head, why not??? I mean its my head and I hear people even get their genitals tattooed, so why would my head be a big deal?????

Answer
Actually I know that head tattoos, although not that popular are common. Women especially like to tattoo the sides of their skulls. Sometimes they will shave the area to show the tattoos, then they will let the hair grow out again if they feel like it. One of my favorites that I have seen is a woman who has a traditional heart with a banner across it, only it says "spoiled" which I don't like so much, but it is an attractive tattoo and she simply lets her hair down when she doesn't want to show the shaved area because it can only be seen when she wears an updo. Maybe you need to make some phone calls to find the right artist. I myself have never tattooed a persons skull before, but I wouldn't refuse if I was asked, depending on the tattoo of course and whether or not it is offensive or something like that. But, it is a big deal...every tattoo is a big deal, so be sure.

What are some tattoo ideas for a girl.?

AVictoriaT

i like the look of brass knuckles and flowers and the bird the swallow.
but i need to open up my horizon and see what else would be nice.
i really adore tattoos & the look of them. So help me with ideas. Anything please (:

Answer
As a huge tattoo fan, and a tattooed person myself, my advice to you is this...

DO NOT get any tattoos that are mere fads (such as brass knuckles and nautical stars and swallows), and tattoos that do not mean a LOT to you personally.

Whenever I see brass knuckles or nautical stars or swallows or other "trendy" types of tattoos, I think... wow, that's stupid, and that person is going to regret that s**t when they're older. Why? Because it doesn't have anything to do with their beliefs or their personalities or them as individuals.

I believe that tattoos should be expressions of peoples' individuality. So think about what you love... what your beliefs are... what your favorite hobbies are... the things that you believe will NEVER CHANGE for you or about you... because if you get a boyfriend's name or a cartoon character or something on your skin, and then you stop liking those things, you're going to regret the tattoo, and it costs a hell of a lot and hurts a hell of a lot (from what I've heard) to have it removed.

So anyway, just think about what would be special to you personally, and think about it for quite a while before you actually commit to it, because... well, tattoos are forever!

is this tattoo cute or trashy?

peanut 2

Two red polka dot bows on the back of a girls thighs.
Not massive, but a nice size.

Answer
Very trendy, trashy and almost certainly regrettable.

Tattoos aren't finger paints. This is not going to wash off when you get tired of it. Once your partner has seen it a few times it's old news so what's the point of spoiling the look of your legs for something you once thought was 'cute'?

You want to spice up your sex life then buy some cute (removable) hosiery.

Bad idea for the long term.

Do you like tattoos? ?

Do you think this would sound dumb:

A girl to get a small dove tattoo on her hip bone and the get another on her right forearm of this quote: "A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages". Where else can she get that quote tattooed besides on her ribs?

Answer
Just loving the answers of people who DON'T HAVE ANY TATTOOS - why on earth would they be commenting on a subject they know fcuk all about, just stupid - don't get it!

Get what you like - tattoos are amazing, anyone who thinks different are just pussies who'd never dare get any in this life or the next!

girls with tattoos?????

ashley_luv

I really want to get a tattoo but my parents say that they are gross on girls. I just want to know what other people think about them so let me know if you think they are gross or hot.
I want to get stars on the sides of my stomach
they will have meaning because i want 18 stars so 9 on each side and most will be small but the years that have the most memories the good and the bad with have be a bigger star like they year my dad died and the year i moved, and all of my little brothers birth years and nine is one of my favortie numbers

Answer
I have a tattoo on my hip.
It's a hummingbird and a flower. I love it.

I think they can be trashy if you have too many, or it's something stupid(like a cartoon character). Your idea sounds cute though =)

I wish I would have put more thought into my tattoo... I should have gotten something with a little more meaning. I still like it, but I wish it had some meaning. I want to get a quote on my wrists to inspire me.... I'm a recovering cutter, and most of the time I cut on my arms. I want to get a quote that inspires me. I will have to look at it everytime I wanna cut, so I'm hoping that it will discourage me. I also want to get angel wings on my back for my dad who died three years ago. I want them to be just greyscale and not cartoonish at all... They will form a heart in the middle and in the heart it will say "Free Bird" and have my dads initials. Free Bird because it was his favorite song, and he really is free now. If something ever happens to my grandpa I will get a fish on my foot... Fishing is his favorite thing in the world. I think that's all of my tattoos...

Good Luck! And sorry about the long answer... =)

Do Body Tattoos Hurt?

Edward

on a scale from 1-10

Answer
I am a small girl and have 4 tats, the one on my left calf was by far the most painful and its the smallest one I have, its Betty Boop, rated at an 8 for pain. My back is covered with a phoenix that goes across my neck, up my sides, wraps my ribs, and into my armpit and I would rate the whole thing as a 5. my giraffe on my left shoulder would be about a 2, and the 2 dragons I have on my lower back (getting covered by my phoenix soon) I would rate about a 6. but it really depends on how still you can stay, how your pain tolerance is, and the artist. my calf tat the guy went way too deep way too fast, it bleed for ever and hurt like heck!

tattoo on private part?

XTCinmyfan

Im a girl, i want to get a small scorpion tattoo right above my p*ssy, like where the hair grows. I keep that area shaved so would that be a problem with my tattoo? and do u think its a good idea lol
and would it hurt like hell since that area is so sensitive lol

Answer
a woman has a much higher pain tolerance than a male. the area you described will be irritated , not painful. the alleged pain factor is the sound of the artists needles. one precaution for non irritable healing. please use unscented aloe vera gel. other creams perfumed . this will cause irritation. . the amount of disrespect shown to this lady is uncalled for. if you have no respect for women. show respect don't answer . when you do have your facts right.

does it hurt to get a tattoo on the side of your lower abdomen?

Q. i cant explain it good but idnt want it directly above my private part just above, then move to the side and thats where i want it. you get it? sorry if its complicated.
yes monty =] thats what i meant. more by my hip then my stomach. just didnt know how to explain it. and thanks for the info =].

Answer
Every tattoo hurts, think about it, it's a needle going about a nickel's depth into your skin several times a second. I've got two in about the same area on each side. The only reason I had the other side done was for symmetry. I'm male, even though these tattoos are a good 6-7 inches away from my man-parts, it still hurt worse than any of the 7 other tattoos I've gotten. People think that getting one directly on my ribs hurt the most, turns out thats the least painful.

However, I've had women tell me that their tattoos in that area didn't hurt so much, but the tattoos on their ribs were killer.

Tattoos on Girls/Women?

Q. Do you like them, hate them, or would it just depend on the tattoo and the girl?

What designs and body parts do you think they look best on?

Answer
It really depends. I'm getting one on the inside of my ankle of a winged foot because I'm a runner. I think they're bad if they get a spouse's name tattooed on them because of how commonplace divorce is nowadays, but something like your kids' names is adorable.
Also, I think they're okay if they are in a nonconspicuous place, such as a foot/ankle, side, upper thigh, etc. where one can hide the tattoo if they wish.

Can getting a tattoo keep me from doing college running?

My baby bo

I'm a HS senior and have the opprotunity for scholarships at 5 NCAA D 1 & D 2 schools. I'm also turning 18, and wanted to get a tattoo on my shoulder. If I got a tattoo, would that keep me from running cross country in college? Also, what if I get a tattoo, but it's covered up by my running uniform during races?
There's a reason why I figured it wouldnt be allowed. Becuase in my high school races, our uniforms have to have single designs that match, headbands can't have metal peices, no jewlrey, so I didn't know if it was against the rules for tattoos too.

Answer
Lots of college athletes including runners have tattoos, men and women.
I imagine some coaches might frown on tattoos, but there is no rule prohibiting them.
You can also wear jewelry in college

Tattoo for four kids?

Q. Hey, my husband wants to get the childrens name or date of birth tattooed on him.
He has three children, a son Caden and twin girls Bethany (Beth) and Alexa (Lexi).
& he also wants my daughter, Emmalise tattooed, we've been together 5 years and they have a great relationship.

What kind of tattoo would you suggest?
He is a teacher so can't really have any visible ones on his arm.

Thank you.

Answer
The best idea I have to share with you is, do not disrespect your children by getting their names tattooed onto your body--or your husbands body. Have you asked their permission? Tattoos are ugly, hideous things and you are not "honoring" anyone by getting their name inked onto your body--you are actually disrespecting them. Would you "honor" them if you painted their names on the side of a building for all to see? No, that is called graffiti, It is offensive and makes an area look blighted. Why is is OK then to use their names for a tattoo on your body? If they are minors, wait until they are age 21 and can give legal consent. Tattoos are permanent. You can not take them back. There are so many questions on this board about how to remove unwanted tattoos. Pay attention to them. They are there for a reason: People do not want to keep their tattoos. One day, probably soon, you will wish you had never gotten your tattoo(s) and will start to ask how you can get rid of them. Be smart and do not put yourself in this position.

cute tattoos for a girl know any?

dEE BXtCH;

okay so i want to get my thigh are armed sleeved know of any cute ones? post a link? im really in to roses are something Los angles something really nice? maybe drawing are something thanks!
i pay attention ! go get a life i dontwannaa know your opinion ! so yeahh Uhh cough cough haters over the internet ?? but other then that to everyone else thank you!

Answer
No tattoos are cute. None. They are all ugly and hideous. Tattoos are little better than cartoons at best.

You asked: "okay so i want to get my thigh are armed sleeved know of any cute ones?"?? Wow, I could barely understand that part of your question. You should pay more attention in English class, OK? Writing well is a skill that you can benefit from all your life.

But, I think..... you want to get a tattoo on your thigh??? OMG I hope you do not! If you make that big mistake and you get one, you will experience a lot of pain and you will bleed. You will not be in a hospital or operating room, and there is a chance you will catch some vile blood-born disease like hepatitis or flesh eating bacteria. Your wound may become infected. The so-called "tattoo artist" may make a mistake and you will be stuck with the results. I strongly recommend you reconsider getting tattooed. Your body is clean now, and not profaned by any graffiti, but that will change forever if you pay some tattoo predator to ruin your body. Just don't do it is my advice to you! You have lasted this long without tattoo, do not cave to the pressure from lesser people or a sick society and take that fatal step. Everything will change for you, for the worse, after you get that first tattoo.. Let me tell you why I am so anti-tattoo and so anxious that you not take this ugly step. The true cost of a tattoo is a lifetime of regret. There is an 80% chance you will regret it in your lifetime. Many people will look at you with disgust, for tattoos are offensive to many, many people. Your chances of getting a good job will be greatly diminishedâmost companies will not hire you since your tattoo will be seen as offensive to other workers. There is nothing good about a tattoo. A tattoo is little better than a cartoonâyou canât get a good quality drawing on the human skin. Tattoos are an urban blight. They are ugly, like graffiti. Like graffiti, they lower the quality of the environment. Tattoos lower the quality of life, for everyone who has to see their ugliness. I donât like the whole concept of tattooing, the way these hideous cartoons are inked into the flesh of people through bloodletting and pain; to me they are a dark and evil art. Tattoos are closely linked to other forms of self harm, like cutting, piercing, drug use, etc.; they are hand-in-glove with these destructive behaviors. I donât like the way evil people encourage our vulnerable children to get tattooed, so they can make money off of them. They do not care that they are causing harm. And yet, these evil ones, these tattoo predators, are even admired by their deceived victims. Young people are fooled into wanting tattoos by degenerate Hollywood and the media. Kids think tattoos are cool and cutting edge, but over time, they wind up hating their tattoos. Far worse, they wind up hating themselves. Parents and older people are so afraid of being disliked that they say nothing against tattoos, even though they know better. Worse, some completely abandon their responsibility to provide sound guidance and even encourage the young ones to get tattooed. As far as tattoos being âartâ, that is garbage. A tattoo is NOT "a work of art". The human body is not a canvas and the abusers and mutilators who desecrate it are not artists. Most of their so called "art" is little better than comic book drawings. . More and more young people are buying into this Hollywood lie that tattoos are a cutting edge way to âexpressâ yourself. But that is so not true. You should express yourself with your words and actions, not by inking graffiti onto your living flesh. I have no tattoos. I hate tattoos and those who inflict them upon our young people. Do not listen to the many predators and enablers here, who encourage young people to abandon decency and live self indulgent and destructive lives. Young peopleâdo not get tattooed. Stay in school, do your best there, avoid drinking, drugs, tattoos and piercings, and avoid those who have them. Go to college, study science, mathematics, or business, and avoid liberal arts (unless you are wealthy and donât need to make a living). God bless you in your life.

Tattooed people: Do you like washing other people's fresh tattoos? ?

Ink666

I am about 50% covered in ink. My GF just got a new tattoo (bird and cherry blossoms on her upper back) and it's looking really good. I don't know why but whenever a lady gets a new tattoo I LOVE unwrapping it the 1st time, cleaning it, washing it, applying the ointment etc. I like it done for me and I like to do it for women too.

My GF is laughing and teasing me going, "You sadistic freak! Do you like seeing me wounded or something?" because I get all turned on by this. I don't know WHY! Ink is just cool and the healing process is cool and so is the human body. I will always be fascinated by this! So am I a total weirdo? Or are there other people who get massively turned on seeing/cleaning new ink?

Answer
Interesting...
This has been an issue for me more than once.

I haven't found it to be a turn-on for me or anyone helping me.
However, I have found it to be a valuable service when I am able to find someone to help me. (There is nothin" like trying to care for a new tattoo you can't quite reach.)

The aftercare can be just one intimate part of getting a tattoo, and I can see where helping or being helped could lead to arousal.

Of course I don't think you are a weirdo, or sadistic, and if you are, then I guess I would prefer to enlist someone who is a "sadistic weirdo" that knows how to help care for me, and takes pleasure in it, than an uptight, begrudging, judgmental, D***** Bag, who holds up my progress because they refuse to help care for me properly.

I currently have a semi-finished project on ice because "someone" refuses to give support in this very area.

Baby names?????And tattoos?

Hey anybody have any cute baby name ideas? I want a creative, unique name for my baby, I'm waiting for the birth to find out the sex (so exciting, yet so anxious!) Thanks in advance

Answer

Boys! You like girls with tattoos?

So how do you boys feel about girls with tattoos? Not just a tramp stamp or a little trashy tinker bell on the foot. Like, sleeves, even tattoos on the chest? Honest answers darlings.
oh, i'm already pretty tattoed. 3 on my chest and my arms are done. i dont care what guys think personally, but my friend and i were arguing, she said it makes girls look too masculine to have anything more than one small tattoo. this was posted for either bragging rights or dropping the conversation alltogether and pretending i never posted this :)

Answer
I like women with or without tattoos. Women with eye-poppin' skin art really melts my butter. But then again, I'm a man. Sounds about right. Boys don't really know what they like, for a while. (Body suits are hott!) Honest Injun.

What do people think of girls, women having tattoos that are done in good taste, like artwork?

Answer
I'm 21 years old and have 3 tattoos...i got my first one when I turned 18 and am planning on getting another one soon. For those who are scared of needles I am too but it's a different kind of feeling it's not like getting a shot...i find it kind of relaxing actually. AND for the record my 84 year old Bible beating Southern Baptist grandmother doesn't have a problem with mine. She thought it was a little bit of a bad thing at first then i exlpianed it all to her and she warmed up to the idea. I have a rather large one on my lower back, a smaller one on my abdomine and a zodiac sign on my calf. The next one i am getting will be between my shoulder blades and is a drawing of an angel that has great meaning to me. It must be a southern thing but i haven't met a guy in the great state of Oklahoma that doesn't like a girl with a little artwork on her body. AND to sum all this up...IF IT'S WHAT YOU WANT, DO IT!!!! who gives a crap what society says....look at it like your body is a canvas...we all need to give it a little personalization.

Gilmore girls tattoo?

In ways we can relate to the mother daughter duo- our relationship is just like theirs. We are best friends. If anyone has a tattoo idea to pay homage to our relationship that incoporates gilmore girls?

Get the words "I will follow where you lead" (from the intro song) tattooed. Or some other words from the song.

Tattoos!!!?

Emms110

Ok- So I want to be a make-up artist, But I hear you can't have anything tattooed on your wrist, is that true?

and if you CAN get a tattoo on your wrist, then what would be a good tattoo to get?
I was thinking "Believe" or "all you need is love" or a cross.. opinions?

Answer
It depends on the artist on how much the tattoo will blob. Personally I have seen tattoos that are 15-35 years old that look perfectly normal.

Tattoos are more accepted now a days as it goes. That spot can be easily covered by a watch, bracelet.

And if your going to be a makeup artist i'm sure you could find a way to cover it with makeup if absolutely neccssary.

When you think about it, as long as they don't see the tattoo's in an interview they can't fire you after because you have tattoo's that is discrimination. Which is illegal. That's like firing someone because their a woman.

followers of Christ...Tattoos?
