What would you think of a girl with a tattoo of a staffordshire bull terrier?

Q. Theyre like me, may not be th most gorgeous n got a bad rep but when you get down to it theyre dead loyal n proper cuddly ;) so a staffordshire bull on a girls shoulder blade/upper back, what would u think of it if u saw a girl with one like tht? honest plz. x x x

Answer
I would think that the girl likes the dog and possibly relates to it in some way.
I would think that maybe she had that particular dog as a pet at one time.
I would think that it was either a great tattoo image, a mediocre image, or a bad image, depending on the image chosen and the artist who did the work.
That's just about it.

Question for guys about tattoos on girls?

<3Jenny

Two questions for guys.

First off, what do you think a tattoo says about a girl? Like, do you automatically assume sheâs promiscuous because she has a tattoo?

Secondly, what do you think about a Celtic heart tattoo on a girlâs shoulder?

Thanks!

Answer
Don't worry about what people will think. If a guy doesn't like you just because you have a tattoo, then he's not worth your time. There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with tattoos or piercings. They're forms of body art and self expression. They have nothing to do with your sexual orientation or the kind of person you are and don't make you any more or less attractive than you already are. They're not skunk, gross, trashy, nasty or anything of the sort. You can't judge someone just because they have a tattoo. If someone does that, they need to get a life and stop being a judgemental prick. The kind of tattoo you get is also your choice. It's your body, not anyone else's so you get to choose what you do to it. If you want a Celtic heart on your shoulder, go get it done. You should find someone who accepts you for the REAL you - tattoos included.

Does it hurt more to get a tattoo below the shoulder like the outside of ur bicep or just above the heart?

I am 13 and I was wondering would it hurt more to get a tattoo below the shoulder like on the outside of your bicep or just above the heart like in between the heart and the collar bone... Btw I am a male if that makes any difference please help me out!!!! Thanks.

Answer
I answer these questions related to pain in the same way every time.

The pain in different places differs from person to person, pain threshold does have a lot of input but, for example, my chest tattoo didn't hurt at all, where as some people I know said their chest tattoo hurt a lot!

Anyway, here's a basic pain level chart I always reffer people to.

Pain level 1
These include the upper arm, forearm, calf, Bum, and Thigh. For a 1st tattoo these are great points to begin your inked journey.

Pain level 2
These include the centre back, front / side of thighs and shoulders. This is also not too bad a start for your first tattoo. The shoulders and central back region can be area that require quite a lot of movement. The skin on these areas is much looser meaning it takes longer to tattoo and also longer to heal. On areas that have lots of movement such as these, require more care once a tattoo is completed. Due to the thigh area being quite a dense muscle mass and also quite tight skin, it may tend to bruise the day after.

Pain level 3
These include the knees, elbows, hands, head, neck, feet, chest and back of thighs. Beginners beware of starting at these areas. You would need to be determined to have tattoos here as the high sensitivity would require a lot of mental focus to get you through. The poor quality of skin on both the knees and elbows will result in a very slow tattoo process and nerves are very close to the surface in these areas. This could result in the tattooing being unbearable for any length of time for some people. As with the orange areas these tend to be high movement areas and will require a longer healing timescale. You may find that to achieve a good solid colour, you may have to repeat the tattoo process on these areas. As a side note the chest area on men can be much more sensitive to pain than a woman, yet due to the tighter skin on a male, the tattoo can be completed quicker.

Pain level 4 (OWCHIE!)
Areas include hips, ribcage, stomach, back of knees, armpit, inside of elbow, nipples, lips, inside of thighs and genitals. Are you really sure you want to get that tattoo? As these areas can elicit crying, half finished tattoos or even the customer passing out. This could just be more than you may be able to handle. All of these purple areas are considered by most to be the most painful areas to be tattooed. The stretchy or thin skin over bone are slow to tattoo, some of these may require multiple sessions to achieve solid colour and smooth shading. Healing can be just as painful as receiving the tattoo and may require a few days off from your regular activities.

SOME USEFUL TIPS WHEN GETTING A TATTOO:

â¢Women are your more sensitive the week prior to and during your cycle. Plan around those dates to have the best experience possible when getting your tattoo.
â¢Use lotion everyday on the area to be tattooed at least 1 week prior for healthier skin and better results.
â¢Do not go out in the sun at least one week prior to being tattooed (including tanning beds) This drys the skin and if peeling occurs could damage the tattoo.
â¢Consider what you will wear for 2 weeks while healing if your tattoo is in an area like the foot, waist, shoulders or chest. Shoes, waistbands, belts, underwear, and bras can all damage tattoos if you do not plan ahead. Find comfortable clothing that will not touch or rub during this time.
â¢Always eat a good meal before being tattooed and drink plenty of fluids.
â¢Be sure to get a good nights rest before your appointment.
â¢Ask what kind of aftercare products you will need when you set up to get your tattoo.
â¢Mention any allergies you may have, pigments, dyes, perfumes.
â¢Some medication may thin your blood, check with your doctor before being tattooed.
â¢Anyone with an autoimmune disorder needs to check with their doctor and should bring a note to be tattooed.

And I realize that pain tolerance varies from person to person, but on average how bad does it hurt? What is the least painful place to get one?

And what is the best place for a woman to get one that won't stretch (or stretch the least) during pregnancy?
It's going to be a small tattoo and I'm definitely not planning on getting pregnant for a long long time =)

Answer
Pricing on a small tattoo will vary according to:

-actual size
-colors
-artist/studio
-state
-location of tat
-studio minimum fees

Basically, any reputable studio is going to charge between $60 and $90 as a minimum fee no matter how small the tat. If you find a place that charges less, they are usually not the type of place you want to go to. A small black-ink-only tat will usually go for somewhere in that range.

As far as pain goes, of course it varies greatly from person to person, but the general rules of thumb are:

1) anywhere on the bone tends to hurt more, examples are the spine, ankle, shoulder blades, etc.

2) anywhere with a lot of nerve endings will hurt more, for example the buttocks, rib area, inner wrist, or inner upper arm.

The top of the thigh doesn't hurt nearly as much (while the back of the thigh is quite sensitive), and the back of the hip where you have a little padding and fewer nerve endings also hurts much less. However, the pain anywhere is fleeting and all part of the experience. You'll do great. It's not all about end product, right?

If you are concerned about stretching during pregnancy, you can easily get tattooed on your back, arms, legs, or neck. Many women get wrist tats especially when they want something small, easily seen (or covered, for that matter), and not easily affected by drastic changes in weight.

Take your idea to a tattoo studio or artist you trust, and ask them any questions you might have. Consultations cost nothing and are the best way to alleviate any fears, inform yourself, and get to know the artist you'll be working with.

Best of luck!

What kind of attire should the guys in the wedding wear for a 50s wedding?

We have an outdoor wedding and it's 50s vintage inspired. All the guys work in a tattoo shop and are sleeved out so I'd like it to be a little edgy. I'm wondering what I should look into having them wear. My dress is tea length ivory and my shoes a t-strap black platform. All my girls have different style 50s inspired dresses w platform shoes if that help offer a better picture of what I am looking for.

Answer
50's wedding attire for guys would have been double breasted, particularily white dinner jacket with black tux pants or a navy suit or navy with black lapels.

the best look for what you are doing would be the white dinner jacket (double breasted if you can find them) and white shirts with black bow ties, and slicked back hair.

if you want them to be funny or edgy, have them take off the dinner jackets for the reception and let their shirts be sleeveless to show their tatts. or short sleeves, rolled up to the shoulder.

Ideas for a tribute tattoo for my grandfather?

Lauren

My grandfather was in ww2 in the army, in the front line, but never talked about it much
He was always, always reading and was an open book of knowledge, even until the day he passed.
I've always wanted a pin up girl tattoo so maybe one could be included since when I think of Pin ups I think of vintage and war related themes. Planes, ect.

Any other ideas relating to ww2 or a book, an open book, or combine the 2, or any other ideas I'm open to also.

Thanks!

Where on your body is the most painful place to put a tattoo and where is the least painful?

tattoos for girls under arm on Miley Cyrus' Tattoos & Meanings | Steal Her Style
tattoos for girls under arm image

I know that getting a tattoo is painful, but some areas of the body incur more pain than others. So, I was wondering where is the least painful and where is the most painful. All you tattooed persons out there, speak up!

Answer
Feel your body and you'll find the places where it's really just skin stretched over bone. Those are the most painful. The needle scratching against the bone is excrutiating. That makes the lower back at the base of the spine a very painful place. This is a very sexy, very popular place for tattoos on girls but it hurts. Anywhere down the spine is very painful as well.

Places where skin covers fat and muscle are less painful. Use your fingers and you'll find the places with the most flesh under the skin. Popular places are the arms and upper shoulders for this reason as well as the fact that they are visible and easy to display.

I've heard that under the arms, circling the torso across the ribs is very painful too.

You know the most sensitive places on your body. Just use your best judgement. When in doubt, ask the tattoo artist for advice.

Good luck on this new adventure.

What kind of tattoo makes someone look hard?

nathanshou

Im turning 19 in like 4 days and I really want to get my first tattoo...its just I want something that symbolizes strength, but not a skull or something...Its gonna be on my shoulder or arm btw.

Answer
If you don't look hard a tattoo isn't going to help. I'm covered in Demons and Castles and Dragons, and none of them make me look hard. I look hard because I'm 6'4, 245, and covered in tattoos.

Girls have tattoos now, the James Dean tough guy tattoo thing died my young friend. It's all just fashion now.

People look at my ink and think "I can't believe he sat through all that", so if you want to look tough, 100 hours under the needle says something, but as far as a singular tattoo, just make sure you go big if it's on your arm/shoulder, otherwise you'll be playing connect the dots trying to make a sleeve out of it later.

When I say go big, this is my left arm:http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p11/ddevlinb/Dec1Pics019Largee-mailview.jpg

and that whole wizard from elbow to shoulder was all one piece, done at once. That's what I mean by "go big".

Ok lets say you get a tattoo & it goes from you thigh onto you side... If you loose weight like toning your body will it still look ok?

Answer
I think if your just toning, you should be fine. As long as you don't loose a lot of weight drastically and keep lathering yourself with a product called Bio Oil twice a day.
Bio Oil reduces stretch marks and is what pregnant women use, so I've seen women have a tattoo before pregnancy and its back to normal when the weight has gone because they use bio oil,

I've also heard burts bees do an oil the same, and you might be able to use rose oil. But just toning you might not need it, it just helps! good luck!

Why are girls with lower back tattoos classified as tramps?

Q. I have heard of the term "tramp stamp", but a lot of girls have lower back tattoos, but that doesn't mean necessarily that they are tramps. My friend has a lower back tattoo and she dresses like a lady should, and she never try to show it off. She a is also really professional and classy. Why do most people classify girls with those tattoos as tramps, or sluts?

Answer
Because they're shallow people who use dated terms to judge someone on false and ridiculous accusations. I have a lower back tattoos, and I'm happily still a virgin, no rush to jump into bed with someone. I'm far from being a tramp. Those who use that term are simply following the crowd of the other people who use it, apparently lacking in any common sense. I suppose it stems from the fact that it's right above their butt, but come on now, I just have a tiny unicorn tattoo, it doesn't say "$1 a ride." Sorry for the rant, haha!

Q. I just got one this last summer on my lower back and I am 40. My 17 year old daughter went with me so I had to act like it did not hurt too bad! It actually hurt like hell-but I love it now Mine has the word "IMAGINE" with angel wings highlighted in lavender on each side. Kind of a tribute to someone ery special who has passed.
I didn't ask if you thought they were trashy I asked if you had one-so glad you got your 2 points for answering. Mine is dedicated to my dad who passed from brain cancer 3+ years ago. The song "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me was my inspiration.
I am actually going to let my daughter get one (small) on her foot. She is a dancer so we are looking for a symbol to use.
Thanks for all the answers-it was fun!

can you give me a rough estimate and price range for this tattoo?

well a friend and I are wanting to get a tattoo tomorrow. since it's my first one I want to start small, so I want to get the Roman numeral for three on my wrist, but not bigger than a quarter or so. And in black ink. How much do you estimate that could be?

Answer
I feel like I should copy and paste from my last post. Are you sure you should get one on your wrist, a lot of companies do not like seeing tats on their employees specially a woman.

The tat should cost around $40-50, if it is as small as I think it is.

New to tattoos: How do I go about describing a detailed/realistic tat without having an exact picture to show? I mean, I want something sweet, like an angelic warrior woman with a beautiful face, half blindfolded in half-mail half-cloth, holding a dagger in one hand, and a bible in the other :P. But how can an artist show you what you want?

Answer
For the love of god, please bring reference materials with you to the tattoo shop. There is nothing more annoying than someone who tries to describe what they want (except someone who comes in the shop wanting a 1/2 sleeve and wants us to "draw something up" but wants to spend $100).

Go to the library and make copies from books, print pictures from the Internet, purchase books at the book store, etc.

Reference materials are a MUST.

Would this work to ward off men from an attractive women?

Delia

Having an attractive woman wear something that indicates she's gay: eg. a rainbow collar.
Do you think that would work at all?

Answer
No way! I'm a straight man, and for some reason I find myself to be attracted pretty strongly to bi and gay women. That sounds bad, but really- sexuality is kind of a spectrum. Are you 100% straight? Really, really, really 100%? Not 99%? Or maybe 90%? How about 80%? I've had relationships with women who were primarily into women, but occasionally were attracted to men.

It's not about "turning them straight" or anything like that- I just find that if they're that in touch with themselves, and have the fortitude to be open and accepting of something that mainstream society would expect them to keep in the closet (less these days, thank god), then they are sometimes fun, creative, interesting people. It's stupid to generalize and make these stereotypes, I'm really just speaking about a few individuals in my past- but to answer your question, the "gay" indicator would have to be very strong, and very "anti-man, don't even ask", to put me off.

Example- i know a woman who wears a mullet, no makeup, really unattractive clothing, has a lot of gay tattoos, and is constantly ogling women and talking crap on men- I am definitely not attracted to her! There just isn't a question, and she's made it very clear in regular conversation that she has zero attraction to men, and she's pushed the "butch" thing to the extreme. In my eyes, she is no longer attractive.

If a woman is straight, or likes men, she will have a very hard time hiding behind a little flag unless she is also a very good actress.

A better way to "ward off" men might be a nice big engagement ring, and maybe some religious paraphernalia- cross, bible, etc.

Q. My Idea : on my left wrist my son name 'Tyson' with a halo over the T. (He passed away after a day in '04) Then on my right wrist my girl name 'Tylen' with a princess crown over the T (she was born in '06 healthy)
My boyfriend, the father doesnt think its original enough. So what could I get to show my 2 kids and their position in my life?

Answer
I think it's a wonderful idea! I can even design them for you if you like. If you have any more children, I'm sure you could have them tattooed just above the others on your wrists, or on your ankles instead ^_^ I think it's a very original idea. Failing that, you could have them with angel and fairy wings, which could also represent that your poor Tyson has passed to the other side. I think it might be more artistic than a halo and crown? Maybe that's just me as I practice angel magic...

If you need anything else, email me at missytetra@yahoo.co.uk ^_^, I hope you come across something appropriate for your purpose.

How bad is the pain on your shoulder?

Kate

OK I am planning all my tattoos out in advance. I want to get a pink daisy for my mom on the front of my shoulder like by the clavicle bone like this LOCATION NOT THIS TATTOO. (People sometimes don't read the whole details, sorry) http://www.uktattoostudios.co.uk/women/butterfly-shoulder-womens-girls-tattoos-tattoo-designs-pictures-gallery3.jpg

not going behind my shoulder just on the front.

Answer
A piece like that for the most part will not be bad at all. But generally when getting up on your shoulder closer to your neck the pain greatly intensifies. Closer to your should the less amount of pain.

Best advise is to not worry about the pain. It is all tolerable. Just decide on your tattoo and where you think it will best fit.

Legend has it that shortly before he was due to be married, a fisherman Richard Joyce was captured at sea by pirates and sold into slavery in Algeria.

He became the property of a rich Moorish goldsmith, who sensing his potential began to train him in his craft. In time Richard Joyce became a fully proficient master craftsman and with thoughts of the girl he had left behind close to his heart, he fashioned the first Claddagh Ring. The heart symbolising love, the pair of hands representing friendship and the crown for loyalty and fidelity.

In 1698 after an agreement with King George III to release all his subjects held in slavery, Richard Joyce found himself once more a free man.

His master, who had by now grown very fond of him offered his only daughter in marriage and half his wealth, if he would remain in Algiers, but Joyce declined and returned home to Galway.

There he found that his sweetheart had waited for his return, and presenting her with the Claddagh Ring they were married.

Good Luck on your search =)

Why do so many Christians seem to shun the extreme?

deepsoul20

I'm a Christian and so is my husband. We have piercings and tattoos. We also love going to metal shows. Something we have both experienced in the past is being shunned or turned away by other fellow Christians for being different. For example most Christians both men and women alike tend to be a little on the normal looking side. They wear preppy name brand clothes and listen to mostly contemporary music. I was a member of this Christian dating service before I met my husband. Most of the men didn't care for the fact that I liked hard music, had a few small tattoos and a couple of little piercings. I guess they were looking for a cookie cutter image of themselves. Another example is my husband's step mom told him that his type of music might scare a nice Christian girl away. I guess my point is, why do so many Christians seem to think that just because someone might look a little unique or listen and like things a little unique, they don't fit the typical mold of what a Christian is? I mean really, what does a Christian look like? And what's wrong with punk type hair, dressing a little funky and few body modifications?
And for those who say Christians shouldn't look that way. Many Christian rock and metal bands look extreme. What's the difference?

Answer
1. normally the more intellectual and open minded don't stay christians.
2. but yea, looks or style doesn't dictate your belief in superstition or your choice of a particular fantasy belief system...

How do Americans view Japanese?

jenniferar

Japanese view americans like celebs... I was wondering how it was on the other side.
thank you everyone you were all very inciteful and informative. and Bryan i am responding by saying i agree about the whole korea surpassing japan in the entertainmant category. i had lived in south korea for two years and love their music. they are working very hard to be at the top.

Answer
Japan has historically always been the cool asian place. They made all the good video games and anime was everywhere when I was a teenager. I'm 20 now, but Japan seems to have lost its prominence. Korea is kinda beating it right now, culturally. Japanese gaming hasn't really gone anywhere new, while western games are the trend here now. The new generation of anime kids are into K-Pop now. They're not listening to Ayu and Namie like I was, but they're SONEs and love SuJu.

But we see Japanese people like other East Asians: diligent workers but leaning toward robotic. The average American doesn't really distinguish between different countries in Asia. We'd just think you're Chinese if you don't clarify. We don't understand certain Japanese things like Love Hotels and Hosts and the complicated toilets and why everything is so kawaii, therefore we think you are weird. We also kinda think you all look the same, because the population is so homogenous. America has varieties in race, while Japan is at least 95% Japanese at any given time. Also we tend to think ya'll lack social skills due to the discipline that you have, that our culture doesn't hold as high.

The language sounds a lot nicer to our ears than Korean or Chinese. However, its still way too hard. We love kanji though, even if we can't read it. A lot of Americans have tattoos with them. Nicki Minaj has one and I doubt she knows what it says. American women are also surprised at how Japanese women age well.

Overall, Japan is thought of as interesting and unique and an American will think its one of the better countries to be from. If you do read this, I'd like a response.

For women?I suffered a bad accident 20 years ago. What do you think of my scars?

Check out scars in pictures on my myspace page at myspace.com/traytheone?I had my leg sewn back on and was disfigured.Dos these scars make you sick?Could you date someone disfigured as this?I am in the middle of changing this site to tell my story.

Answer
First of all, you get +1,000,000 for the zipper tattoo...that is simply spectacular.

Secondly, your scars don't make me sick. Then again, I do work in the Emergency Room and have an iron stomach...but here's the real deal:

Any woman who is willing to let something as superficial as a scar (however bad or disfiguring) keep them from getting to know you and hear the story behind your scar isn't worth knowing. Crappy thing is, those people are out there, and I'm sure you've come across your fair share...and will undoubtedly come across more. What YOU need to do is not let your scars define you.

One of my dearest friends was born with no spine from the waist down, and no bones in his legs. He walks around on his hands faster than I can run on two legs. When we go out, girls ask him what happened. His response? "My Mom stuck me in a blender." He doesn't care...he jokes about it all the time...and the girls are ALL OVER HIM!

Confidence makes you attractive. I know you've got it in you, because getting a tat that fierce takes some brass ones!! Celebrate what makes you YOU. Look back on what you've done to get this far and be proud of yourself. Women are looking for a good guy...scars or not. If you can fit that bill, you'll be fine.

And, for the record, I've got four big drill holes in my head from having brain surgery...so I know what you're going through. Two of them are in my forehead. I use it as a conversation starter. :)

Why is it that guys are taking/doing all the things that use to be girls only? I saw a guy the other day with bleached blond long hair (in a pony tail)hair, a nose ring (a small sparkly stud), a huge star tattoo on his foot (like tons of pink and purple stars) and he had his cartilage pierced. What is going on?

Answer
There is nothing to be ashamed of anymore

I have a very classic look to me, but have 5 tattos and want more. Will it take away from my classic look?

ANMeCUM

My current tattoos are on my foot, neck, rist and inner lip. I want two more. I want 3 black and pink nautical stars running down the back of my calfs, and a rib cage of hibiscious flowers. Will they take away from my classic looking face and way of dress? Do you think a classy girl with tattoos can still be attractive?

Answer
Yes, it will take away from classic beauty, which should be unadorned.

dry brittle hair from bleaching. is it best to cut it?

hottest tattoos for women 2011 on Cute Female Tattoos | Women Tattoo Gallery
hottest tattoos for women 2011 image

MandaPanda

i have naturally very dark brown hair. well, unfortunately i decided to bleach my hair and dye it lighter. it turned orange and i dyed it a brown color which didnt really cover it up so i dyed it a darker brown which worked. but, since i bleached and dyed it in the same day, my hair is fried. i have the victoria beckham bob right now. the rest of the hair seems fine but the very front ends are VERY dry. a piece broke off when i was straightening it and the front of hair is stiff cause its so dry. i've done the hot olive oil treatment and it seemed to help with the frizziness on the top but the ends (mainly front) are so brittle. could i save my hair by doing the hask protein hair repair treatment? or would it be best to get a trim?

Answer
You've got more chemicals there than I have in a year. Hair that you see now? It's dead. ~ Wikipedia. Trying to save hair that is dead, no, it can't be saved, even if you cut it. It takes years & years for hair to become healthy again.

Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a trillion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals - hair's worst enemies. Meaning, it does very little benefits to the hair.

Style meets chemistry meets biology: We're talking hair coloring.

Playing with chemicals is not like playing with clothes, or doing a manicure, there are penalties for playing chemicals in the lab. Even hair color experts at the salon are not rocket scientists, they do a bang up dye jobs to their clients or their own hair.

Chemicals can enter the body through the skin.

The chemical is not new and is present in a number of brands of dark hair colours, acting to help adhere the dye to the hair so that it doesn't wash out. PPD is sometimes added to black henna tattoos and that using them is not safe. Allergic reactions usually begin within two to 10 days following application. One bad reaction can lead to sensitivities to other products such as hair dye, sunblock and some types of clothing dyes. Oftentimes, it's using the product a second or third time.

I had part of my hair blue but I want to find different dye. I used something from hot topic a while back and that faded really fast and then really recently I used splat and that stayed in for a long time but for a few days after I did it I couldn't touch my hair without it dying my hands blue. Is there a better dye?

Answer
YOU never touch chemicals with your hands. Home dye kits COMES WITH: directions, gloves, and all the formula to mix your dyes with, and a toner. Also, inside the formula are already pre-mixed shampoo, that also cleans your hair @ the same time.
Best At-Home Haircolor
L'Oreal & Clairol, have been tested by women of all ages, and approved & recently published by the Good Housekeeping magazine for July or Aug. 2011, I can't remember which magazine issue I read from my doctor's office. Google it

Book suggestions that are similar to The Hunger Games?

best tattoos for girls 2012 image
Q. I seem to have fallen in love with book that revolve around a different kind of world that we live in.

The Hunger Games, Uglies, Pretties, Specials, The Bar Code Tattoo, etc.

if anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them! I have yet read Extras, Catching Fire, Mocking Jay, The Bar Code Rebellion, and The Bar Code Prophecy.

Answer
These are my favorite dystopians that you didn't mention.

The Shore of Monsters by David J. Nix â 2011. Five generations earlier, a horde of monsters nearly obliterated humanity. All males are dead or ruined by a monster plague; words like 'father' and 'romance' have lost meaning. When teenager Sky joins an expedition to the shore that falls apart, she must survive amongst the monsters that roam the ruins. She gets unexpected help from a very surprising source. Mystery, action, and romance follow!

Blood Red Road (Dustlands Series) by Moira Young â 2012. In a post-apocalyptic future, 18-year-old Sabaâs twin brother is stolen by black-clad riders. When tough-as-nails Saba launches a relentless search to recover him, she must fight for her life in gladiator cages, overcome enemies both creature and human, and learn to trust others for the first time. And try as she might, she canât help but fall for the charming scoundrel Jack, who just may understand her more than she knows.

Divergent by Veronica Roth â 2011. In a future dystopian Chicago, each 16-year old must choose to belong one of five factions, each of which represents a dominant personality trait. For most the choice is easy â simply follow the results an aptitude test. For Beatrice, however, the choice is not simple. Her test indicates three aptitudes. In addition to complicating her life, this fact makes her dangerous to the community for reasons she does not know. What she decides promises to put her in danger, and possibly tilt the entire balance of society.

Enclave by Ann Aguirre â 2011. In a shattered, post-apocalyptic world, 15-year old Deuceâs dream has come true. She has been named a Huntress, trusted by her community to brave the world outside of the sheltering tunnels and the threat of monstrous Freaks to bring meet to the tribe. The assignment is complicated by her pairing with the rebellious and handsome Fade, and a realization that the Freaks are growing more organized and cunning. Deuce and Fade must convince the tribal Elders of the imminent danger before it is too late.

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan â 2010. Seven generations have passed since the Return, a plague that reanimates dead humans into creatures that feed on the living. Teenager Mary lives inside one of the last enclaves of uninfected, protected by a chain link fence that surrounds her village. When the fence is breached, Mary flees the village with a small band of survivors. Their flight toward an uncertain salvation is both harrowing and revealing, as they try to determine if they are humanityâs last hope.

Incarceron by Catherine Fisher â 2007. Incarceron is a prison so vast that it is self-sustaining. Generations of prisoners are born inside, doomed to a life in prison. The novel weaves two story lines: that of 17-year old Finn, who hopes to become only the second person to break out of the prison, and Claudia, the warden's daughter who hopes to escape an arranged marriage. When each discovers a crystal key, they find that they can communicate through the devices, and pledge to help one another. The story lines merge in a fantastic twist you wonât see coming.

Maze Runner by James Dashner - 2009. When Thomas arrives in the Glade, he remembers nothing but his name, just like the dozens of other teen boys who arrived before him. The Glade, which is surrounded by an impenetrable maze, is closed at night to guard against the creatures that roam the darkness, but open for exploration during the day. Getting caught outside at night is certain death. As the boys try to unravel the mystery of their existence, a complication occurs: the first girl arrives in the Glade. More importantly, she has a connection with Thomas and a message that may determine the fate of all the Glade's inhabitants.

Shipbreaker by Paolo Bacigalupi â 2010. In a near future of rising seas, no oil, and extreme poverty, a teenager works as a shipbreaker - one who salvages rusting ships for parts. When he finds a wrecked super-yacht after a storm, he thinks his days of poverty are over. However, he gets swept into an adventure when bad people come for the one survivor of the wreck - a rich, beautiful girl who owns the vessel.

Unwind by Neal Shusterman - 2009. In post-war future, the abortion debate has been solved through compromise. Parents may elect to have their teenage children "unwound", a process where the teens organs and body parts are harvested for others. The story follows three runaway Unwinds, each discarded for behavior, religious, or economic reasons. As the trio embarks on a harrowing journey of escape, the reader will ponder very heavy moral questions, and wrestle with how much a bad decision can affect future generations. This is a masterpiece on every level!

Which How I Met Your Mother episode is this scene from?

me.

I remember this scene from HIMYM, but I don't remember which episode it's from! But Barney is talking about how the later into the night it gets, the easier it gets to get laid. And they showed him talking to a chick 3 different times, and by the last time he just sent her a text that said "?" and she replied by "!" I wanna show the clip to my friend because she wants to get an exclamation mark tattoo. Haha thanks!

Answer
"Do I Know You?", Season 4, Episode 1.

Barney: On a booty call you barely even have to talk. At 9:00PM you say, "Hey, babe, it's Barney. Are you busy tonight?" (girl answers) "Sweet, see you in a half an hour, can't wait." But the later it gets, the fewer words you need. "Barney! Busy? Sweet." And by 3:00 in the morning (Barney texts "?" random girl answers "!")

I have one tattoo on my upper left back but I want another one that wouldn't look right as a tramp stamp and I don't want one on my back. But where else would one be easy to hide from my parents?? And please don't try to tell me I should tell them or just wait till I move out. That's not what I am asking. Thanks ahead of time:)))

Answer
anywhere under your clothes,, like your hip or your chest.
i have one on my hand that my parents don't know about! i did it myself, and my parents haven't said a thing. They just think it's a drawing with pen or something, but they're used to me drawing all over myself anyway.

That's just about it.

luck!
