I cant remember what tattoo show this was?

Stephanie

I watched this show awhile back and it was one of the tattoo shows they have on tv. This guy came in to get a sun tattoo covered up on his back/shoulder. The tattoo artist (male) covered it up with this sick tattoo of a women with a butterfly mask and it had a sun and moon around it. Please help me! What was the show and who was the artist!?

Answer
Spike has a TV Series called Tattoo Nightmares where they do cover ups of unwanted tattoos. There are three cast members: Big Gus, Jasmine, and Tommy.

Would "The Girl with the Dragon tattoo" or/and "The Hungry Ghosts" be appropriate for me?

Q&A

I have read:
The secret Life of Bees
Wicked
Dead Until Dark
The Kite Runner
The Lovely Bones
The no.1 Ladies Detective Agency series (1-5)
Hannah Swensen Mysteries

Answer
I like most of those books (besides Wicked), and I liked the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. It is a Swedish book (the Swedish title is "Men Who Hate Women" so that kind of tells you that a reoccuring theme is violence against women). Certain terms and expressions are different (ex/ gaol = jail). The first few chapters of courtroom drama and business are sort of boring, but it gets good after that, when Blomkvist goes to the island. Lisbeth is a great character. Give it a chance!

I haven't read The Hungry Ghosts.

Guys: what would you think of a small rib tattoo on a woman?

anonymous/

I'm 18 and I really want to get a hamsa (hand of god) tattoo design on the side of my ribcage, but I want it to be relatively small. If I really want it in a few months I'm going to get it either way because it's my body, but I was just curious what you guys would think of that on a girl. It would be my only tattoo. Thanks! I'm a runner and stuff btw so it's not like I'm overweight and want to show off an unattractive part of my body.

Answer
Good thing.

Answer
Cherry Blossoms look very pretty and dainty around the ankle and onto the foot. Although, It is painful. Your first tattoo should be on another area to make sure you can handle the feeling. On the back shoulder blade is a good area, that can be easily hidden. But the foot has no muscle or meat so its very painful. Hope this helps good luck to you. There addictive, so be careful...lol

Where can a woman get a tattoo and have it not look at all trashy?

Q. My brothers, my sister and I are getting matching tattoos of our family motto, and my sis and I can't decide where we want ours to go. It's a pretty small design, and we'd like the option of covering it at times. And I'm not a skinny girl, so that rules out a few places. Ideas anyone?

Answer
Do not worry about it looking trashy. If a person hates tattoos, theyre going to tell you it looks trashy no matter where you put it. (disreguard those people, they suck). On your upper back would be cute, or on your ankle, or foot? (im not skinny either, i have one on my ankle, and on my foot). The foot one is easy to cover (obviously) and even though I hate feet....I think foot tattoos are cute.

What are some good tattoo ideas?

Q. I'm getting sleeves, I want some tattoos representing my love of music, video games, comic books. I'm a nerd. I like metal music. I was looking for some good ideas, but I can't really find anything that's original. I want something from Skyrim or W.o.W. Any ideas will be accepted.

Answer
You are still going to have these tattoos when you are a very old person. Instead of Skyrim and WoW, why not just some imagery that reminds you why you used to love these games as a kid? So, go deeper. What is it you like about the game. How does it make you feel? Tattoo an image of that emotion, not an image of the game, that you might outgrow 5 years from now.

If I had gotten tattoos when I was a teen, I would have cartoon characters on my body, and I'm now a 53-year-old woman. I'm much happier with my yin yangs than I would be with Fozzie Bear.

Who plays games more? MEN or WOMEN?

johnson758

I've been seeing a pattern forming with women recently.... A lot of game playing and stupid desisions being made on their parts... Don't get me wrong here. I love women, and was raised by one. I love my mother very much and it was her that taught me to respect women and appeiciate them. I'm 30 years old, never been married, no kids, no criminal record. Out there trying to meet the one. I've come to the conclusion that a lot of these women are only interested in what seems to be this alpha male, douche bag, jersey shore type dude now with the MMA and Ed hardy shirts, more tattoos than they have skin bullshit. I keep hearing this term called the friend zone.... But yet everywhere I turn I see tons of single mothers, young as hell, even ones my age... With their new child, walking around with no man... Complaining that that the baby's dad is a piece of shit and asking "where are all the good guys?" I know where they are... I'm one of them. See this is the issue: you women don't screen these men long enough before you become intimate. Example: I went out with a girl on a first date, date went great, she enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, at least she seemed like she did...a week later I asked her out again. She replied "no I didn't feel the connection. But we could go to a football game together if we get our friends together if you want?"......we're friends on Facebook by the way...I happen to come across a post of hers 3 months later and she says she's pregnant.... Her boyfriend... The jersey shore type. So I spent 60 dollars on dinner and drinks...just so you can tell me there's no connection... And low and behold there you are pregnant with some dude you think you know? Sounds like a game to me. I need help on this issue. Men and women need to answer this. Who plays games more? MEN or WOMEN and...when women say: "all girls are different" what are they really saying? Cause this is no lie... The past 14 women I've been with or dated said this!! HELP!!!!

Answer
Well I like your rant first of all, it actually makes sense and it seems like you put a lot of thought into it. You are right many women play games with us "Good Guys". I know I dated my fair share of women "players" before I met my wife. But here is the difference between the girls I was dating and the Girl I met and married. I met my dates at bars, football games, clubs, parties ect. These women are "players" or a good chunk of them are and the men that go to these places are too. The Girl I married I met while doing volunteer work with americorps. We were both helping impoverished people all over America. Myself and both of my best friends met our wives while doing some sort of volunteer work... I think that both Men and Women have their fair share of "players". But you will find the one someday I am sure! Good Luck

Are temporary tattoos ... haram ?

NeverMore

My brother got a tattoo and when I asked my mum if I could get one she said no .
Arent temporary tattoos like henna , she said I could get henna done instead but I dont want henna !!
She said the reason why I couldnt get a tattoo is because they are pictures of animals and arent flowers and swirls and designs like henna is !! I'm not girlie at all so I dont want to get flowers and swirls done , I want a dragon on my upper arm !! So tell me what you think and what are your thoughts :)
Please and Thankyou !! xD

Answer
Asalam Alaikum
Permanent tattoos are haram for both men and women, but temporary tattoos are pretty much like henna and come under the same ruling. But it can't be animate beings, the question is whether a dragon would be considered an animate being as they are not real. Maybe if you want the dragon you can get it but with a blank face, or make it cartoonish. I am no scholar though so maybe it's best you ask one inshaAllah.

What kind of tattoos do woman/girls like to see on guys?

crazykid69

I already have tattoos but I want ,, and I know Ina get tattoos that mean things to me but I want some ideas what would woman like to see on guys?? Any idea or suggestions??

Answer
tattoos on guys are always f*ckin hott.
well if you have a nice body they're hot.
i think dragons ussually look pretty cool like a huge on on ur shoulder.
or something sexy, not too colorful thoo.
keep the color scheme something simple. red and black look sexy together.
idk maybe words or an inscription from the bible across your back would look nicee. like it shows that ur a bad boy but still care. yeah i like that one. but either wayy, just tattoos are hottt.

Rib cage tattoo pain...?

Jennifer

When I turn 18 (I'm 16 now) I'm really hoping to get a poem tattooed on my rib cage beside my left breast. The poem I'm hoping to get is "A locked door, a rusty razor, a towel stained with red. A folded note, a broken mirror, and young girl lays there dead. Their emotions tangle, the room begins to swirl; she was Mommy's perfect angel and Daddy's little girl." I want this for a few reasons all of which are very important to me and I was wondering if anyone has experience with rib cage tattoos and can give me a little insight on how painful it could be to get something like this done? Thanks.

Answer
I love that poem.

I have a tattoo that goes all the way across my rib cage (left side) and then one that goes almost all the way down my ribcage on my right side.

When I was getting the one on the left I was squeezing my arm so hard that I gave myself a bruise. I never teared up tho! It was really painful, and one of my tattoo artists told me that if i was some idea of how bad the tattoo would hurt in a certain area, you should pinch yourself as hard as you can in that spot, and it should give you some idea of the pain to come.

But overall i think you should definitely stick with getting that tattoo, even though it will hurt like none other, it will be worth it at the end!

Hope i helped!!

What is your perception of a girl with a rib cage tattoo?

Naomi

I really love the idea of a rib cage tattoo but the only girl I know who has one 1) has it going down her crotch and 2) has a clit ring.
I want a short poem with maybe a small cluster of stars. I'm very conservative and I have 2 tattoos already that I basically forget about because I'm always covered up.
So, would a rib cage tattoo make me seem trashy? Do you think a guy would be turned off by this? (I know I shouldn't care, but I do :/)
When you think of a girl who has a rib cage tattoo what is your opinion on the type of person that girl is.
Thanks.

Answer
I have a tattoo on my rib cage and I love it! I don't think they seem trashy at all and are beautiful and a perfect way of expressing yourself! I got a quote with stars as well and I think its perfect! You wouldn't regret it...and it doesn't hurt as bad as everyone makes it seem!

BOYS what do you think about tattoos on girls?

Lindsay

i'm just curious because i got my first tattoo less then a week ago & i'm already addicted! i want to get like 2 or 3 more. is that bad?

i don't care if they get gross as you get old. i'm positive that when i'm in my 70's the least of my worries will be looks. lol:)

also my tattoo's have very important meanings.

Answer
Addictive, aren't they? Just don't fall in to the trap of repeatedly getting tiny little pieces done because you want something/anything. Think carefully about your choices and if you think you'll end up with large areas covered try to plan ahead and consider how you'll extend what you're getting.

I love tattoos on girls, my wife has one sleeve done and is working on the other.

I'm pleased you've seen past that 'they'll look terrible when you get old' nonsense, yeah, 'cause all those guys who didn't have fun and do what they wanted when they were kids will look damn awesome when they turn 80, won't they? I'd rather be old with wrinkled tattoos and grandkids who think I used to be a pirate than old and wrinkled. Interestingly the people who stop me and my wife most to comment on our tattoos are elderly people and kids, and it's only ever to say they like them.

My tattoos have meanings too, they make me happy.

Girls with tattoos ( only for boys)?

FIR1FAN

Am just curious do some guys like girls with tattoos I mean a hole sleeve or a few tattoos and piercings I have both and I want to get lods more but I am having second thoughts because will some people judge me or not find me attractive anymore I am a bit of a Tomboy I do t like wearing girly clothes but if I go out I will dress nice just curious ...don't start judging me I am just asking a simple question:)

Answer
Tattoos and piercings make you look either better or worse than you really do. They're accessories, like clothes, some suit you well, some don't. Basically, if you're hot, you're hot! It doesn't matter that you have 'em. You'll probably be even cooler.

Which tattoo should I get!!!?

Q. I know I want the tattoo to be right on the back of neck, that way it can be covered by hair. And also because I love the placement. I want it to be small, nothing too big. I either want a Dreamcatcher, bird, or Swahili symbol for Hakuna Matata.
These are the tattoos I had in mind:
http://media-cache-ec2.pinterest.com/upload/278238083198658381_gwjSbRsg.jpg (dreamcatcher)

http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7p5qnw6Sr1qhd0k5o1_1280.jpg

http://waktattoos.com/id18283/back-tattoo-bird-girl-ink-swallow-tattoo-inspiring-500x332-pixel.html (bird)

The ddream-catcherin the picture is on the side of the rib, but i would make it smaller and have it on my neck.

Answer

I have the same exact quote that was on my grandfathers arm got it two days before he passed and one tat for my grandmother after she passed! Use the quote that means the most you will never regret it(;

Good Tattoo quotes/phrases?

Samira

My cousin wants to get a tattoo on her forearm. the purpose of the tattoo is to cover the scars on her arm due to self harm when she was a child. She needs help coming up with a very short quote or phrase (a few words, or a sentence) to remind her every time she looks at it, to stop her from ever thinking of doing it again. for example, demi lovato did the same thing by tattooing "stay strong" on her wrists so she wouldnt cut again. help please?

Answer
I am women. You cant break me. Or life tried to break me i found a road to take me home. Im a fight . Everyday i get a lil bit stronger.

Tattoo ideas for someone.?

Erykah

So one of my best friends committed suicide and I want to get a tattoo in memory of him, I was thinking of getting it on my lower hip area or the front area of my right shoulder below my collarbone, but I'm not sure. I need ideas on what to get, i don't want like R.I.P or I Miss You, or anything over used.

Thanks.(: <3

Answer
Yeah, I agree with lolcakes, if you don't want a tombstone or a portrait or anything like that, you could also get a tattoo of an inside joke you guys might've had, like a made up word or phrase you guys always said to each other, or get a tattoo of something that reminds you of him. I saw this one tattoo show, I forgot which one, but this woman got a tattoo of a jack and coke in memory of her dead relative because that's what he ALWAYS got when he drank. Another idea would be to get something that represents death or friendship, etc with some kind of symbol like an animal that you associate with it for example. Good luck, I know it's hard to find the perfect tattoo, especially when it represents something this important.

Girls with tattoos - yeah or nay?

Tina C

What do you think of girls with tattoos and not just one, but many (say over 10)?
What about guys?
If it is two different answers, why?
What about piercings?
I am looking for honest opionions and reasons.

Answer
tattoos and piercings are awesome! i think tattoos have to match for them to look really nice, im not a fan of dotting them around your body. Guys and girls look hot with sleeves and big pieces of art work on them.

How about this tattoo idea kids?

Q. I want to get "All the World's a Stage" tattoo. Probebly the words written in old school cursive either on my lower back or front. I want it because it's my favorite song from Chiodos and I want it like Craig Owens becasue he;s my favorite artist. His music has helped me get through the HARDEST time in my life and I wanna honor that.
So should I get the words or like a picture?

Answer
Just wanted you to know, "All the world's a stage" is a quote from Shakespeare's "Hamlet", specifically, Hamlet's Soliloquy. He's the one that actually wrote it.

If the saying means that much to you, then get it. Just make sure it is something that is not likely to change over time, as far as how much you like it.

A belly tattoo will get stretched out of shape from if you ever experience pregnancy. Although a belly tattoo sounds sexy when you're still young and skinny, a tattoo on the belly can sometimes end up looking downright awful later on. So if you want one there, keep this in consideration and decide whether you can live with that risk or not.

Back tattoos are easy to hide. I got my first tattoo on my back between my shoulder blades, it is just a simple black outline of a kitty cat, about the size of a small piece of fruit, like a lime or an apricot. Sometimes it shows if I wear a top that is lower in the back, like a cami, but it actually looks good that way because my tatt is simple and not really "flashy". Another benefit of getting it on your back is that if you keep having doubts about your tattoo after getting it, well then it's not "in your face" all the time cuz looking at your back is not something you do all that often, really. I have several on my back that have been there for years, and even today sometimes I'll be drying myself off from a shower and I'll catch a glimpse of them in the mirror and think "Oh yeah, that's right. I have tattoos there".

Spend a LONG time thinking about it before you make a committment (6 months to a year is not too long. Even more is better, really).

Good luck, I hope this helps

rambabe24

I dont like anything emo looking. Im a really girly girly i like flowers but not too much flowers. thanks.

Answer
tattoo on belly? I don't think thats the best idea. just think what that would look like if you have kids and/or gain a lot of weight. I would say to get something to help to reduce the appearence of the scar and get a tattoo somewhere else!

concernes with a low tattoo stretching...would it?

ashleyerec

the tat i want to get is going to be really low.
so low that you wont be able to see it unless completly naked.

however, my best friend just piointed out that when and if I am to ever get pregnant, that it may stretch. she has a point.

would it? even if its soo low?
what else would make it stretch?

help!

---this a pic. of how low
the link is messed up

as one yahoo questioner put it, it is a pubic tat.

not a abdomen tat

Answer
You don't say whereabouts it will be placed. I take it you mean it will be on your lower abdomen. If so, yes it can get distorted through pregnancy. Most women don't regain their original grade of elasticity after bearing a child (as great as some mums do look afterwards). Everyone's skin is different of course, but you should realistically expect some level of stretching that will never rectify itself to the way it was before, regardless of how much exercise you do, etc.

Will my tattoos stretch when I get pregnant?

d

I want a tattoo on my stomach pretty bad but I am terrified that it will stretch when I become pregnant. Has anyone gone through this? Did your tatt stretch? Did it go back to normal?

Answer
Youâd better not do it. During pregnancy, weight will significantly gain. If tattoo on your lower abdomen, it will really damage. This is the reason that doesnât encouraged women getting tattoos before planning to have children. tattoo of the woman i love ?

David

im getting a tattoo of the girl i love but i don't know where i should get it where would be the best place?
its not going to be a pic of her its going to be something that describes the whay i feel about her

Answer
Inside of your forearm, but beware, tats of people or names of boyfriend/girlfriend is a known relationship jinx. Me and my bf broke up within a month of me getting his name inked on me.we had been together over 5 years! We eventually got back together and were together for another 3 years, he then got my name tattooed on him and we broke up within a month of that tat as well, there will be no getting back together this time. I don't know why, but tats just jinxed us pretty good. So be careful, even laser treatments will not make you look before the tattoo was done.

Memorial Tattoos for women?

Sammy Gigg

im a female . & i want a way to honor all of my friends & family that have passed away so i decided there's nothing better than a tattoo because it makes it permanent. i have individual tattoo ideas for loved ones that have passed away but that would Just be too many. i need ideas for just ONE tattoo. & a place to put it. i was thinking either one of my legs, shoulder blade, depending on size. i would greatly appreciate the help. Please & Thank You

Answer
One big tattoo? You could go for a small flowering tree, which also give you the leeway to pick favorite flowers of each person, have it added to a branch and have their name or initials put in the petals or on the branch extending to their flower.

quote to add to my tattoo? girl?

Anita

have the everlasting rose from the beauty and beast movie but since it wouldnt look right making it too long to cover from the top of my shoulder to my elbow ive decided to add a quote from beauty and beast to complete it.
it will be right below it in cursive pretty font
with the candle stick on one side and the clock on the other to frame in the quote.

so which quote:
Tales as old as time, song as old as rhyme
Tales as old as time, song as old as rhyme, Beauty and the Beast
Much deeper than snow...the strongest love we'll know we'll ever know
Hope is the greatest of the gifts we'll receive
beauty is found within
for beauty is found within
not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within

feel free to add a different quote (prefer from beauty and beast)
so what do you think would look the best?

also this is all the space i have to use for the writing:
its 3" tall probably around 6" wide
not including the side of my arm for the clock and candlestick

so are the longer quotes too long to make look comfortable and not smashed in?
which one do you think will be best?
thanks

im not just getting this because its cool or whatever heres the reason behind the tat:
i got a tattoo from a disney movie because when i was 3 i walked in on my dad with a knife to my moms throat. he yelled for me to leave i told my sister who was 5 she called police. police told me i could take 1 item with me well at 3 my favorite thing was beauty and beast. since then i have moved around from place to place and have had a really rough life so this movie has really helped me. the enchanted rose means so much to me; thats why i got it. not just because of a movie. you can even google it the story behind the rose is the reason so many have it tattooed

Answer
From what I understand, the enchanted rose means time, not love? (i havent seen Beauty and the Beast in a veryyyyy long time lol) um, so i guess since he has till the last petal falls to find someone to love him, or else he stays that way forever, maybe something that represents what saved you. i apologize in advance since i cant think of any philosophical quotes on this but search for strength quotes. I am very sorry for what you witnessed as a child. I can relate more than youd expect. (not with that specific situation, but if you change a knife with something else and me being your older sister then its almost the same). Anyway, think of something like that. I did try to find something to maybe give you for a starting off point but everything is about jesus and god and im not sure your religious stance or if its even relevant. Good luck to you. :)

If you saw this quote tattooed on a girl ...?

"You have to wake up a virgin each morning"
haha yea i know but i'm not gunna walk around showing off my ass when i'm 65 =)

Answer

Answer
I saw a neat tattoo- a woman (who's kids were fully grown) got little people figures done on her ankle- one for each of her 3 kids.

Tattoos...?

alika613

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo but I don't exactly know anybody who has one so I was wondering if anyone here could tell me about theirs. Like has anyone you met ever asked you about it (I want to be a teacher so I don't want it to interfere with me getting a job)? Do you now wish you hadn't gotten one? Would you get another? Did you have any health risks? Do you want it removed? Do some find it... immature? Are they easily viewed depending on where you have it?
What's your tattoo of? Did it take long and how long? How much did it cost? How big was/is it? Black and white or colors? Does it hurt more depending on where you got it? Do certain places pose greater health risks? How old were you? Did anyone try to talk you out of it? Did it look like you wanted it to? Pretend I know nothing, about tattoos I mean, which is pretty much the case. Tell me about it. Is there a story behind it?

-Alika613

Answer
True story: I always wanted a tattoo. Not a million plastered all over my body, just one awesome tattoo. I was debating over the art and graphics and finally decided on a sun around my belly button. (I was 20 years old).

While I was in the chair, waiting for the guy to set up, I had doubts...I mean, I was going to be a third grade teacher after all (our stories are alike) and the same exact "what if's" that you are worried about right now were scurrying about my brain, so I sadly packed up and left...without my tattoo.

I left still wanting one...I just didn't trust myself that in my 20 year-old moment, what I wanted that day would be longlasting. To make it easier for me to deal with not getting it at that split second, I made a deal with myself. If I still wanted one at 30, I would proceed.

Well, today I am 32 and I just got my first (and last) tattoo! After four children, I am SO HAPPY that I did NOT get the original tattoo around my belly button because Lord knows I have no reason to show that off anymore, BUT I did get a tattoo that I will love forever...

My kids' names on the small of my back in Japanese. I am part Japanese so I wrote it out myself to ensure they got it right. All black except red hearts that separate each name. Time? 20-30 minutes. Cost $100.

There are risks, but if you go to nice clean place, it is fine. I pasted a link below to research things you need to look for when choosing a parlor.

I do not regret it at all.

SO, my answer (sorry so long-winded), once you are SURE what you want, go for it and don't be afraid to wait for minute or two...your tastes will change and evolve as no doubt you will as a young woman. Maybe you too can set a date for a tattoo when your flirty and thirty! :) Good luck!

TATTOO,CHEST??????????????????n?

Andre

im a guy and im thinking of getting a tattoo on my chest, not a big one just . to cover my right lung area. is that normal or is that ugly specifically towards women

Answer
chest tattoos can be just awesome. depending on the artist's skill, design chosen and your "shape". i personally like them!

What is your opinion about chest tattoos on women?

Le All Kno

Answer
i think some chest tattoos look pretty on some women. Depending on what it is and the design. I have a beautiful tattoo that symbolizes my native american side as well as my children on my chest, and it is too late for regrets. I get looks from people that like it and some that just get intimidated. Never the less, people will always pass judgment on others when it isn't their place to do so. That is why it is called Art!

what hurts more, rib cage or shoulder blade tattoo?

Lisa

I already have one on my rib cage (full color, about 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall)

Answer
I answer these questions related to pain in the same way every time.

The pain in different places differs from person to person, pain threshold does have a lot of input but, for example, my chest tattoo didn't hurt at all, where as some people I know said their chest tattoo hurt a lot!

Anyway, here's a basic pain level chart I always reffer people to.

Pain level 1
These include the upper arm, forearm, calf, Bum, and Thigh. For a 1st tattoo these are great points to begin your inked journey.

Pain level 2
These include the centre back, front / side of thighs and shoulders. This is also not too bad a start for your first tattoo. The shoulders and central back region can be area that require quite a lot of movement. The skin on these areas is much looser meaning it takes longer to tattoo and also longer to heal. On areas that have lots of movement such as these, require more care once a tattoo is completed. Due to the thigh area being quite a dense muscle mass and also quite tight skin, it may tend to bruise the day after.

Pain level 3
These include the knees, elbows, hands, head, neck, feet, chest and back of thighs. Beginners beware of starting at these areas. You would need to be determined to have tattoos here as the high sensitivity would require a lot of mental focus to get you through. The poor quality of skin on both the knees and elbows will result in a very slow tattoo process and nerves are very close to the surface in these areas. This could result in the tattooing being unbearable for any length of time for some people. As with the orange areas these tend to be high movement areas and will require a longer healing timescale. You may find that to achieve a good solid colour, you may have to repeat the tattoo process on these areas. As a side note the chest area on men can be much more sensitive to pain than a woman, yet due to the tighter skin on a male, the tattoo can be completed quicker.

Pain level 4 (OWCHIE!)
Areas include hips, ribcage, stomach, back of knees, armpit, inside of elbow, nipples, lips, inside of thighs and genitals. Are you really sure you want to get that tattoo? As these areas can elicit crying, half finished tattoos or even the customer passing out. This could just be more than you may be able to handle. All of these purple areas are considered by most to be the most painful areas to be tattooed. The stretchy or thin skin over bone are slow to tattoo, some of these may require multiple sessions to achieve solid colour and smooth shading. Healing can be just as painful as receiving the tattoo and may require a few days off from your regular activities.

SOME USEFUL TIPS WHEN GETTING A TATTOO:

â¢Women are your more sensitive the week prior to and during your cycle. Plan around those dates to have the best experience possible when getting your tattoo.
â¢Use lotion everyday on the area to be tattooed at least 1 week prior for healthier skin and better results.
â¢Do not go out in the sun at least one week prior to being tattooed (including tanning beds) This drys the skin and if peeling occurs could damage the tattoo.
â¢Consider what you will wear for 2 weeks while healing if your tattoo is in an area like the foot, waist, shoulders or chest. Shoes, waistbands, belts, underwear, and bras can all damage tattoos if you do not plan ahead. Find comfortable clothing that will not touch or rub during this time.
â¢Always eat a good meal before being tattooed and drink plenty of fluids.
â¢Be sure to get a good nights rest before your appointment.
â¢Ask what kind of aftercare products you will need when you set up to get your tattoo.
â¢Mention any allergies you may have, pigments, dyes, perfumes.
â¢Some medication may thin your blood, check with your doctor before being tattooed.
â¢Anyone with an autoimmune disorder needs to check with their doctor and should bring a note to be tattooed.

i need a little help with rib cage tattoos. ?

I have one on my rib cage now. i love it, and probably should have asked this before i got it, but if i get pregnant, will this stretch? I was thinking about getting a UV tattoo (black light) and i was going to get that all the way up my rib cage? any tips? thanks.

Answer
Every woman's body is different ans will respond to pregnancy differently. It all depends on the elasticity of your skin before you get pregnant, how much weight you gain during your pregnancy, etc. etc. If you want to minimize stretching I would suggest using a lotion or oil rich is cocoa and almond oil as soon as you find out your having a baby. Keep using it thoughout and even after you give birth. I would recommend a brand called, "Mothers Special Blend." There's all kind of lotions out there though. Just keep in mind that some stretching is bound to happen!

Guys, do you like waist tattoos on girls?

Jessica

Or let me know if you'd rather have a girl have her bellybutton pierced, anything else or just nothing. Do you think it's sexy or trashy? If you're a girl, Im not gonna read your answer.

Answer
personally belly button rings gross me out. i have a few tattoos so i'm gonna sound like a hypocrite saying this to you but.... just because i wanted to get them done so bad 10 years ago, i don't feel the same way today. luckily they're covered up when i wear clothes, but honestly i'm a bit embarrassed sometimes when people want to come check them out. i really don't even consider myself a tattooed person, but i do have two of them. most of the time, i've forgotten that i even have them. so all i'm saying, is that something that was once so important to me, isn't any more. i'm not getting them removed or anything like that, i'm just indifferent towards them.

now if i see a girl with a tattoo, i've got a pretty good idea that she puts out. if she smokes cigarettes and has a tattoo, then i know she'll definitely give it up. i just gotta figure out if she'll give it up to me or not. i'm starting to wonder if people (especially girls) who have tattoos, have some form of self esteem issues. i could fall into that category. the reason i got the tattoo i have on my back, was due to self image and the fact i just thought i had to get that tat...

best wishes... do whatever, but just know that some mistakes are permanent. and once again, bellly button rings make me cringe

I want another tattoo.?

Fjdbdldfld

I have a tattoo of stars on my back its about 3 inches wide and its 5 stars not in a line just kinda there. But I want another tattoo. My mom doesn't approve of tattoos or piercings so it would have to be in a place easy to hide. I was thinking of a dove on my upper side like under my armpit by my breast, or roman numerals of my birthday on my hip( not my inner hip) like on my side inside my underwear. BUT im open to all suggestions as long as there not satanic. Im sorta like a girly girl.

Answer
My absolute favorite tattoos are lyrics on the inside of the forearms or a silhouette of a bird on the inside of the wrist, but they can easily be put on other places if you want the tattoos to be easy to hide. If I were you, I'd wait until I was older and have a tattoo that is in a place that's pretty easy to see, and you'd be too old for your mother to care. However, a silhouette of a bird flying on your hip would be pretty.

I think that the roman numerals of your birthday is kind of trashy... No one will need to know your birthday unless you're passed out drunk in the hospital and they can't contact someone for your information. It's like getting your name tattooed on your body; it's not necessary. Since you're kind of a girly girl, a classy tattoo on your hip would be nice. Don't get anything too big.

Lastly, tattoos by your breast or armpit are extremely painful during the process and during healing; because they are sensitive anyways, it is only intensified when you get a tattoo. Besides, if you were to ever wear a bathing suit or change in front of your mother, a tattoo by your armpit would be noticeable.

What tattoo removals actually work?

Kiona

I have 2 small tattoos, a roman numeral 2 on my middle finger and a small bow on the inside of my left ankle. Neither one of them have color. I don't want neither of them any more. I am black, but I'm not dark. I'm a light brown. On youtube, a girl that was my complexion said that laser tattoo removal didn't work well for her because of her skin color & that it was expensive. White people say its pretty accurate though. I've been looking at Fadeplex, Wrecking Balm, & Nuviderm. I'm not seeing a lot of reviews. I've seen about 2 for each.. 1 saying they didn't see much of a change or they broke out or it scabbed really bad & 1 saying it's worked well.

If any of you have tried ANY kind of tattoo removal can you please respond to this? I need ideas. Fadeplex, Wrecking Balm, Nuviderm, Laser, whaaatever.

Answer
Lasers have made it easier to lighten tattoos, but it's not as easy or as reliable as many people think. Lightening a tattoo generally takes several treatments and can be expensive. How well it works depends on the tattoo. Many tattoos can be lightened until they are much less noticeable, but usually a trace of the tattoo remains.
Also, some tattoo colors are harder to remove than others. Laser treatments can turn some tattoos darker instead of lighter, or change them to a different color. The same goes for "permanent makeup," which is a kind of tattoo. It depends on what ingredients went into the tattoo ink to produce the color.
But it can be hard to find out what's in tattoo inks because they usually don't have ingredients listed on the label. Very often, even the tattooist doesn't know what's in the tattoo ink because the company that made it considers the formula "proprietary" (pro-pry-uh-tar-ee). That means it's a trade secret.

Help with tattoo quote.. something along the lines of.. "live free, dream endlessly, regret nothing" but more

Answer
Tattoos are empowering and they make a unique medium of expression. But when you choose words over a design, a tattoo becomes much more than a form of body art. There are different languages used to put words into practice so that they are understood by people all over the world. Which is why, you can get any phrase inked on your body. There have also been many great men and women who have said and quoted a number of words which can be used as tattoo quotes on life and love. May it be for memory, identity, or just for style, these quotes for tattoos can be your pick if you want to get a simple yet attractive tattoo.

would my tattoo stretch?

Jul

Would a tattoo right below the belly button go back to normal after having a baby? If not, does anyone have pictures? I'm not planning on having children anytime soon, just thinking bout the future. The tattoo would be a quote.

Answer
Yes, the tattoo would stretch. Would it go back to normal? Hard to say, but unlikely - some women end up with stretch marks for life after pregnancy, and your tattoo might end up permanently distorted.

I would say that were you to get the tattoo below your belly button and end up pregnant, you should do everything in your power to look after your skin during and after the pregnancy - cocoa butter during pregnancy is reputed to help prevent stretch marks. You would also have to do exercise to tone your stomach (though I imagine most women would choose to do this anyway).

Regardless of the time you took, it would be entirely possible that your tattoo would never regain its original shape.

What do guys think of tattooed women out there such as Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore, Alyssa Milano who are?

alwayswear

very successful and very beautiful? Can a woman still be attractive even with all that visible ink? Guys, would you ever be embarrassed to be with a girl who likes her own style despite the fact that society makes you think you need to be pristine and act like a model? Thanks for your opinions.

Answer
I love tattoos, i have several myself. Tattoos on women are espically sexy, it means there just a little bit tougher than the other chics. As far as what society has to say about it. Screw society, tattoos are becoming more and more accepted as a part of the global culture. If a woman has more tats than me, it will just promt me to get more. As long as they mean something to her, and express her true oppinions, the more the better. If she just has a butterfly, or fairy because she thinks its "cute" then ill pass.

Men what is your in put of tattoos on a woman's body?

I don't have any but do desire to get some spider webbing on neck and small of back.Be honest! Thanks

Answer
tattoos on a woman are beautiful. as a woman who has tattoos i'll say that not all guys like them but a lot of them really do. and i don't have any tiny girly tattoos. i would suggest not having a neck tattoo as your first, second or even 10th tattoo. unless you are serious about your tattoos and completely unconcerned with your future employment opportunities then you should not get your neck tattooed.

upper arm tattoos (girls)?

MiLk_11

i was just wondering if people think girls having tattoos on their upper arm(not too big and not small)and having them down the side of their body or on their back is more butch than femme ?
i wouldn't have like a full sleeve but big enough to see it from a distance

Answer
i am considered a femme lesbian.. i have a tattoo that covers my chest and wraps the front of my should then comes down my arm about halfway to my elbow..
its full of bright colors... its VERY girly... i get complements all the time...
on my other arm i have a heart locket right above my elbow, my partner has a key in the same place..
still we get complemented on it all the time..
i think when i woman dresses formal, in a sleeveless type dress, and they have tattoos showing ITS SEXY as hell...
to each their own, but I LIKE IT!!

:)

What do you think of a girly girl with a half sleeved tattoo?

NONAME 4 N

I am thinking of getting a half sleeve tattoo.
It is going to be a castle at night and it is going to have like rapunzel hair and he is going to try to animate me as rapunzel with my face but her hair and im going to then draw an outline of a prince and when i meet my "prince" i will fill him in. (i know kinda chessy)
then i want a star's in the night and they repersents the people i care most about so everytime it will be a star for my close family and best friends and then having a colorful shooting star that wil repersent my daughter. I am just afraid because of my tattoo my type of guys won't approach me. Cause i am into the jock type of guys or the long haired blonde country boy. But not like Sk8ter boys. I am 23. I just got a divorce and i am a photographer. (do that tat won't interdere with my job) plus i am nothing like the goth person i honestly have never wore black in my life i am a perky blonde. Wear a very girly style kinda the girl next door look i have been told and people think a tattoo and with my girl next door look would be so cute. so i am kinda confused i really want it but i do want a nice father figure for my child.
So if you saw me on the street with my tat what would you think even though my style is REALLY girly with skirts, dresses,
THANKS SO MUCH â¥

Answer
Honestly...I would think you were a punk, scene or goth kid in high school who is now a girly girl....Sleeve tattoos are HOT, but they don't say girly girl to me. I'd love a sleeve tattoo, but I have a career and it's frowned upon (although people in my profession still get them), but I also think about what a sleeve will look like on me 20 years from now.

So yea, I don't think I'd think girly girl. I'd think more punk, scene or gothic. Since you say you dress really girly, my conclusion would be you were that type of kid in high school and now are really girly.

What do you think of tattooed girls?

I've been around tattoos my entire life. My dad, uncle, grandfather, & two of my brothers are all heavily tattooed. I've wanted tattoos ever since I was little & my father is supportive as long as I don't get any that are easily visible & could get in the way of getting a job. I've been planning a sleeve from the top of my shoulder to around my elbow. It's a sketch I've been drawing & editing for the last 7 years & it's going to be my 18th birthday present before I head off to college. However, I don't want people to get the wrong idea if they somehow see it.

What do you think when you see a girl that is tattooed? Obviously not a small one, something big like the sleeve I'm planning to get. It's okay to be rude, I just want your honest opinion & your reasoning, if you have any.

Answer
I personally think tattoos on girls are hot, as long as it's strategically placed. Too much tattoo or certian designs make them look manly or dirty. Personally, that sleeve tattoo u're planning doesn't seem a good idea, especially for a girl. What if you need to go to a formal party in the future? U can't wear sleeveless gowns or dresses without looking manly. Usually, the ones that look great on girls are on the the back of the neck, hand, armband or back of the shoulders and the ones that are not overly-colored and do not exceed 3 inches.

Well, it's actually just a matter of preference and your own style. It's still best to get one that suits your personality, because tattoos shouldn't just be accessories but self-expression. The stuff I mentioned above are just tips to consider. Also consider the fact that some employers don't accept inked emploees, like in some hotels, restaurants, planes and ships. So if your dream career is related to those, I suggest you think about it really well.

At the end of the day, it's still up to you. Good luck. :)

What makes girls with tattoos so appealing?

Midnight T

Iâm a guy who dresses in tight jeans or dress pants, collar shirts, and shoes. I love to dress like a pretty boy but for some odd reason I am turned on by chicks with tattoos (and Asiansâ¦donât ask). What makes girls with tattoos so freaking appealing?

Some of you are quite simple minded. Just because a chick has a tattoo doesn't really make her a slut or trailer trash. Let me ask you this? Say your mother just got or has a tattoo..does that make her a slut?

Answer
Its the mystery behind the tattoo that is so appealing... its what leaves you wanting more. Tattoos to me, are either something you absolutely love or what you are too scared to otherwise admit to the world. Its a form of self expression that is so beautiful and unique that its a shame that people still associate it with a lower class of society.

To the shallow minded answers out there: How dare you imply that anyone with a tattoo is a slut or trailor trash or whatever. Its not the tattoo itself that makes a person a slut, its the person behind it themselves. If they act and/ or dress in a provocative manner then thats their perogative. We are all entitled to live our life as we please. Who do you think you are to judge someone by their apperance anyways? Do you think it makes you sound SO much better than them? I dont think so... In fact, it makes you sound shallow and judgemental. We [tattooed people] dont look at you any differently, we treat everyone the same despite what you look like... so let me ask you this: who really is the better person now?

I have 5 tattoos myself, and when I feel like showing them off, I do. But how sad is it that when I go to places of a higher class, I actually cover them up... not because Im ashamed, but because I know that they wont give me the service I deserve if they see I have a huge tattoo on both my upper and lower back. I can honestly say though, I love showing off my tattoos and I take every opportunity I can to show them off. They each have a special meaning to me and I dont regret any of them... and for the record, yes, I DO plan to get more.
