i think some chest tattoos look pretty on some women. Depending on what it is and the design. I have a beautiful tattoo that symbolizes my native american side as well as my children on my chest, and it is too late for regrets. I get looks from people that like it and some that just get intimidated. Never the less, people will always pass judgment on others when it isn't their place to do so. That is why it is called Art!

Russian Tattoo design? Need Help?

Hi,
I'm a female, 23 yrs and I'm looking into getting another tattoo (would be my 4th). I was born in Russia and I still have strong connections to the country, but I live in US now.
I would like my next tattoo to be along my ribs, stretching from my hip to my chest area. Its hard to design or find a tattoo of russian meaning that could cover this area (unless its flowers) .
Please help me! Any ideas or links would be great. Thank you

Is a Cross tattoo on your hip inappropriate?

Q. Ok so I know hip tattoos are supposed to be a more sensual location that an arm tattoo for instance. I'm Catholic and very religious and I was thinking about getting a small cross and some words in latin on my hip. I just want people's opinion on whether the hip is a too inappropriate or disrespectful a location for a cross?

I have a cross on my chest just over my heart. I'm a Christian and admittedly i did put alot of thought into it first. I think as long as you are getting it for good reason then you would never regret it.
I got mine because i had some bad experiences with my church but then i met my husband who brought me to a different church, helped me find faith again....then cheated and lied and hurt me, so i wanted a reminder that my faith was my own and not a bad thing...hence why i put it over my heart.

The only thing i would say is be very careful of the style of the cross you get. Women's cross tattoo designs tend to be very fine lines which on places that stretch isn't a great idea :)

Have you thought abut trying to design your own cross? Just start with a shape you like and work around it to create something that is really truly personal to you and your faith.

Where to put temp tattoo for special occasion?

Q. Where is the sexiest place to put a tattoo on a woman's body. Would like to get a temporary tattoo for a special occasion (for my man.) What designs are really sexy? Ideas please -- since it'll be temp, over the top is fine.

I would go for somewhere hidden from public view, like low on your hip, or maybe on your chest underneath your bra. As for tattoo ideas, you could go with the traditional rose or butterfly. Or you could do a pin-up girl, but I'd put that on your thigh or ribs for maximum inpact.

Since it's temp, and it sounds like you don't have any real ones, anything will be a shock when he comes across it.
