Q. My Idea : on my left wrist my son name 'Tyson' with a halo over the T. (He passed away after a day in '04) Then on my right wrist my girl name 'Tylen' with a princess crown over the T (she was born in '06 healthy)
My boyfriend, the father doesnt think its original enough. So what could I get to show my 2 kids and their position in my life?

I think it's a wonderful idea! I can even design them for you if you like. If you have any more children, I'm sure you could have them tattooed just above the others on your wrists, or on your ankles instead ^_^ I think it's a very original idea. Failing that, you could have them with angel and fairy wings, which could also represent that your poor Tyson has passed to the other side. I think it might be more artistic than a halo and crown? Maybe that's just me as I practice angel magic...

I don't think that it would be too much. Just remember that you do have other skin, and take into account having the tattoo on any part of your body and seriously consider all of your options. That really helps me decide on where to put it. But if you are set on your arm then go right ahead. It is your arm after all, nobody else's.

How to get a girlfriend if I've tried almost everything?

I'm 21 and am going to be a Junior in college this fall and I've never had a girlfriend. I thought that once I got to college after high school my luck would change, nope. It seems that every girl at my school parties and gets wasted. I'm not about that. I don't party, drink, smoke, all that crap. I am social though, I have a close circle of friends. It just seems all the girls at my school are drunks or taken.

I've also tried the online route, that is even worse. I didn't know girls could be so picky! They all seem to want one or more of the following: country boys, military men, tall guys, guys with tattoos, guys with piercings, etc etc. I'm not any of those things! I send very nice, non creepy messages and I never get anything back. I've tried all the free dating apps (Skout, OkCupid, POF, Kik date, others I can't remember the name to). I know of paid sites (Match, Christian Mingle, etc) but I really don't feel like spending $25-30 a month to get no responses.

I'm 5'3", which is short so I feel like a lot of guys have advantage over me. I have a low muscle tone and not an extremely attractive face. I'm not fat or unhealthy, it's just my build. It doesn't help that a lot of people (especially adults) treat me like I'm 13-14 based on my appearance. For example, all last year the cashiers in my dining center would say "hey buddy!" in a tone like how you talk to your
et or a 10 year old. My friends had a good laugh about it, which is fine, but it kinda hurt my self esteem at the same time. I'm funny, caring, smart, and I love talking. I'm just at a dead end now with girls. Now all of my friends are in relationships so I've been feeling a little more lonely than usual I guess. And no, they don't have available friends. I'm an optimist, and I believe things will work one day. I'd just appreciate advice on what to do. Try going for shorter girls. I'm only about 5'0", very dainty and petite, and I love guys who aren't super tall. When I date tall/average height guys I feel uncomfortably tiny and delicate. It's really awkward and difficult to hug/kiss them, which is why I tend to go for short guys.
I know how it feels, getting mistaken for a little kid. -_- I'm a year younger than you, and a lot of people assume I'm an extremely shy, short thirteen year old girl who's trying to look cool. My friends find it hilarious that they call me short, even though they assume I'm younger than I am. It sucks.
Anyways, I promise that someday you'll meet a girl who's a bit on the short side too. It may be sooner than you think; try to say hi to someone new. next thing you know, you might have a whole new circle of friends. And trust me, she'll worship the fact that you make her feel normal by not crushing her spine when you two hug. Also, people tell me that short guys dating short girls is the most adorable thing ever.
It's hard to find someone who accepts your height, but trust me. There are LOTS of girls who like shorter guys out there, they just won't admit it.

(i actually asked the opposite to this question, wanting to know what tattoo styles are trendy at the moment, but that upset the teenagers from the trailer park too much so i didn't get my answer and i'm rephrasing it.)

Custom works of art, about things that you love and are interested in.
My husband has a Cave art painting reproduced on his chest.
I have a Celtic Dragon from an ancient piece of jewelry.
I have a wrist bracelet that I designed, filled with stuff that I love, my Dad's favorite flower, something from a dream,... all in my tattoo.
You can get anything, even if it is the trend of the moment, if you love it, and make it yours. You have to remember that body art has been around since the beginning of man/women, look up the Ice Man, and the Payzyrk mummies, etc. And you need to remember that images are art forms.
I think that people under 25 yrs old, forget, or have never thought, that whatever trend that they are seeing, isn't everyone else's life on the planet. That is because marketing has become so pervasive, that people forget that there is anything other than what is marketed,... that is 'seen' on TV, computer, movies, magazines, school, store, newspaper,... Imagine not being connected in these ways at all, would you know if Susie Whatsherface across town or in the next State, got a 'cute little monkey' tattoo? If you got a 'cute little monkey' tattoo, do you think that it would look anything like hers?

So, the answer to your question is, that if you get a tattoo for yourself, and not from anyone else's tattoo, or anything that is marketed, or anything that you saw at the current movie or eatery or mall, ... if you got your idea from yourself, and your life, then it will not be trendy.
Even if you get an image from a book or a poem or someone that you admired, it would be yours because it would be about what you care about, and you would not make your choices of design, color, placement etc. because of anyone else.
Look to yourself.

December 2002. Mikael Blomkvist, publisher of the Swedish political magazine Millennium, loses a libel case involving allegations about billionaire industrialist Hans-Erik Wennerström. He is sentenced to three months in prison, and ordered to pay hefty damages and costs. Soon afterwards, he is invited to meet Henrik Vanger, the retired CEO of the Vanger Corporation, unaware that he had commissioned an investigation into Blomkvist's personal and professional history. This was carried out by Lisbeth Salander, a surveillance agent with Milton Security.
Blomkvist is promised considerable financial reward and solid evidence against Wennerström, in exchange for writing the Vanger family history. Vanger believes that his greatneice, Harriet, was murdered by a member of the family 36 years earlier. Blomkvist moves to the Vanger estate and becomes immersed in the history of Harriet's disappearance.
Salander, who was ruled legally incompetent as a child, is under the care of legal guardian Holger Palmgren, but he has a stroke. Her new guardian, Nils Bjurman, is a sadist who uses his position to sexually abuse her in return for access to her own money. After he rapes her, Salander takes her revenge by torturing him and threatening to ruin him unless he gives her full control of her finances.
Blomkvist discovers Salander has hacked into his computer, and persuades her to assist him with researching Harriet's disappearance. Marriage creates a stable environment for children to be reared in (assuming it's a stable marriage). Chaos in the home an instability can really mess children up. Children who had a lot of chaos in their early childhood (before puberty) can begin exhibiting some crazy behavior in their teens and early adulthood. They can begin having overwhelming feelings that they don't know how to deal with. They will use the arousal mechanism to attempt to deal with these feelings. This can include thrill seeking behavior, aggressive piercing/tattooing (e.g. genital piercing), self mutilation (cutting, burning, hair pulling, etc.), excessive sexualization, and other behavior.

Granted, chaos can happen plenty even with married couples (particularly when one or both parents are addicts/alcoholics or abusive), but even the lack of a steady father figure can be a cause of chaos. So, if you're a single mother and you keep bringing different men into the children's life and not let them have a steady and healthy relationship with their father, it can be a cause of chaos to the children.

When children (especially girls) do not have a good relationship with their father or father figure, they tend to seek father figures in their relationships with men. These are the girls that will date guys in their twenties when she is only fourteen or so. When they exhibit these kinds of behaviors, they will inherently attract men that are flawed (like the guy in his twenties dating a fourteen year-old). This will tend to lead towards the girls being attracted to abusive a** holes.

Children who come from a lot of chaos will also tend to become uncomfortable opening up to others and having intimate relationships with them. They also become uneasy in the lack of chaos. This is often exhibited in romantic relationships. These children will be attracted to people who are chaotic in their relationship (abusive a** holes). If they begin dating someone who is a nice person who treats them right, they will become uncomfortable and sabotage their relationship. One example of sabotage is cheating on their partner and having the urge to tell them they cheated.

Now that everyone who read my answer is very depressed, the good news is, this is a trend and is not always what happens. It's also possible to create a stable environment for children outside of a marriage, but is more difficult and uncertain.

In short, have kids after you're married, your marriage is steady, and you're able to create a stable atmosphere for your children to grow up in.

I can't imagine they were real- some fake tatoos can look very real, depending on how it is done. They have henna and those airbrush tats and some you really can't tell.

If they are real, that is F-ed up and if I was with social services I would take those kids away from those parents in a heartbeat.

This made me curious ever since I read someone else's similar questions. I have tattoos on each side of my ankle and just assumed that it never looked bad or bothered anyone, since I've gotten all compliments. I never understood though why people are saying that tattoos on the leg only look right on "certain" women who know how to pull off that look. What does that mean? I like the way a leg sleeve looks (a small one) + it can easily be concealed when needed. Also, why would anyone think it looks too masculine for a women to tattoo her leg.- Most guys I see have their arms & back, not their legs!

I have a tattoo on my ankle. It doesn't quite go all the way around and I do plan on finishing it, as well as getting one on my other ankle. For me, I would get my legs covered before my arms. It's easier to cover if you need to do so. I wear jeans most of the year anyway, so it would be less likely to fade.

To each their own. Put your tattoos where you want them, not where other people think they should be.

a lot of people have tattoos. i personally don't always agree with them, sometimes it's fine but just make sure you don't look like ghetto trash that you'd find in an alleyway with a bunch of smokers and drug dealer type people, unless that's the type of person you are.
tattoos itself are not really a bad thing, unless you are very religious.

It might just a bit. Depends on weather or not you're prone to gain a bunch of weight when you get pregnant. Ask your mother if she got real big during her pregnancy. Are you planning on getting pregnant soon? If so, then just wait the 9 months then get the tattoo. If you're just thinking about it for the future, then don't worry too much about it. If you make a conscious effort not to gain too much weight during pregnancy (now I'm not saying starve yourself and unborn child-gain the appropriate amount, but don't over due it like some women do when they use pregnancy as an excuse to eat anything and everything and then the weight is hard to come off after wards.) Like I was saying, if you just make sure not to go overboard with the weight gaining during pregnancy and do your best to tighten up after the baby comes, then yes I think you should be fine, ribs are one of the last places to accumulate weight...I'd be more worried about the tummy area. Especially if you turn out to be one of those women who gain it all in their belly and stay tiny everywhere else (those lucky

I think that if you get that tattoo, you will forever be viewed as a low-class person. In my opinion, you should not get tattooed. Your body is clean now, and not profaned by any graffiti, but that will change forever if you pay some tattoo predator to ruin your body. Just don't do it is my advice to you! You have lasted this long without tattoo, do not cave to the pressure from lesser people or a sick society and take that fatal step. Everything will change for you, for the worse, after you get that first tattoo. Okay so I've just started art college this week, and we got a mini project to do for next week. Our tutor only gave us a very brief description of what we have to do so I'm a bit unsure how to go about it. Basically we can do a 2d or 3d piece, and its meant to portray our personality traits/hobbies in it. Personally I'm more comfortable with doing 2d pieces like drawings and stuff, but I really want to do something that will really stand out and give a good first impression. I'm the type of person who gets all these ideas in my head but then doesn't know how to go about doing them. Any help would be really appreciated so if anyone has any cool, creative ideas please help.

Description of me/my personality:

I'm really small, only 5ft0, get made fun of a lot (jokingly) over my height and have gotten a lot of nicknames because of it (Frodo, Pixie etc.) . I'm from Ireland. I have very pale skin, very blue eyes that I tend to get a lot of compliments on, and really long eyelashes. I have naturally a mousy brown hair colour, but have been dying it for the past 3 years bright blonde/white. I'm friendly, find it easy to make friends and talk to new people. I can be really hyper and quite crazy especially around people I know well. I have a really loud laugh, sounds more like a cackle half the time :P. I'm a bit odd really, I say really random things. I love criminal minds its probably one of my most favourite tv shows ever. I also like to read, I really like crime/thriller novels, and because of my love of crime novels/shows all my short stories in school were kind of dark and crime based also. I have a very unusual style and dress sense. Most of the time I wear all black, I don't know what it is I'm just more attracted to black clothes. I get called a goth a lot. I do like lacey materials in clothes, and I love skulls and tend to wear a lot of skull jewellery, or scarves/tops or anything I can find with skulls on them :P. I mainly always wear skinny jeans.leggings I don't like flared jeans, my jeans have to be super skinny and tight. I quite like working out , I'm more of a work out at home girl though. I love blogilates workouts and Jillian Michaels. I'm rarely seen not wearing doc martens.I get sunburnt really easily because of my fair skin. In college I'm studying Makeup design for stage and screen. I love doing makeup so much. I love watching tutorials on youtube or looking up makeup pictures for inspiration, and just experimenting with different makeup looks. I get asked to do my friends makeup for nights out a lot, but I never mind because its something I love to do. I wear lipstick a lot, mainly darker colours like red/burgundy/plum colours. I love tattoos I only have two at the moment because I don't have the money for any more yet but I would love to get quite a few. I think all art forms are amazing, and I do count tattooing as an art form despite what anyone else thinks. I love tea! And I always have to have a lot of sugar in it, I'm a bit addicted to sugar I think, and caffeine. Seriously I get so hyper after like drinking coffee, or eating skittles or drinking coca cola. I love cats, and my kitty Arthur is like my little baby. I smoke, and I do drink, mainly vodka. I get pretty annoyed when people call me cute, like I can't do anything without it being cute or something! Just because I'm small.. I like writing (short stories/songs) but kind of haven't done it in a lot time and would love to get back into it once i'm settled into college. I love animals, and used to want to be a vet when I was younger. Even when I was like 7/8 and we had reading time and could get any book we wanted from the shelf to read, I'd get the big encyclopedias and go to the animal sections and read about them hahaha. I love fairytales, especially the older/original versions like Grimms Fairytales and Hans Christian Andersons. I find them really fascinating. I like music, and I like to sing. I've been told I have a good voice by many people but not many people get to hear it because I'm terrified of singing in front of anyone. I like modern day/chart music but I have quite a mixed music taste and also listen to the likes of the Beatles, the Ramones, AC/DC etc.. I love going to the cinema, and I love going to see horror movies. I always do this thing where I cover one of my eyes when I get scared watching a movie, I have no idea why because its not like it helps at all :L. Okay I'm so sorry I ranted there jsut wanted to really give people a good look into my personality and hope they can get some ideas from it.
