tattoo question? girls preferably or anyone whos experienced with getting/giving tattoos?

shawesomew

Allright heres whats up. I am getting 2 tattoos, a nautical star on the bottom side of each breast. I am wondering a few things, like how much this might hurt (im a 38d so theres a lot of um, fat there haha) and about healing, ect. I allready have 7 piercings and they didnt bother me at all, (eyebrow, nose, and ears cartillage and lobes). Also I am sort of on the lighter skinned side, but i was thinking purple and black....but im open to suggestions. also another thing is i was thinking about having the stars not directly underneath each breast but (still on the underside) a little moved towards my cleavage? what do you think about placement? and anyone whos going to be all like WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?? well its my body, my art, and its not like when im 60 my titties are gunna be all out and my grandchildren will be like whats that gma? lol. but yeah any helps appreciated!!!!!! ha and also, what made me think of this, was a few things. my breasts are beautifull and perky so why not artwork em up a LITTLE. ive allways wanted a nautical star tattoo or two, and i can allways say "hey baby i promise when you f^&* me youll see stars. haha thot id share :]
also ha me and my man came up with it earlier, doin missionary lol, we just thot it wud be a good place. i have to hide it from my family which has part to do with the odd placement. and its not just for the "ill make u see stars" reason. just sounds rly cool! im just a lil nervous. lol

Answer
I am a girl and I have 9 tattoos. First of all, f*** what everyone else thinks... its your body and you do what you want with it. As long as you have thought this out long and hard and think that in 20-30 years you won't regret it. I love all of my 9 tats and can't wait to get more. Also, I like the idea of stars. Purple and black are an excellent combination and will look good on fair skin. Looks good when your skin is tan in summer time too. (I have a purple and black dragon and I think its awesome!) Anyways, none of my tats are on or near my breasts but I can tell you that areas with sensitive skin hurt more. Like I have tats around my lower abdomen - private area and that one hurt like a bit*h!!! So did the one on my hips (I'm a big girl so that area for me is fleshy) but like the one on my back and legs did not hurt so much. I would imagine that since the skin underneath your breasts are quite sensitive that it will probably hurt... but not to worry because the tattoo guy or girl will know its your first time and probably go easy on you. And besides, its not one continuous thing when they are "drawing" or doing the tat, they take several short breaks in between each few spots to wipe it off, get more ink or dab some ointment on your tat. And if you feel woozy or YOU need a break they will be more than understanding. Having a friend there to talk to helps. Or sometimes depending on who you go to, they will put on loud music to drown out the sound of the needle, as it may cause you to concentrate more on the sound thus making it hurt more (its psychological really.) But all in all, tattoos don't really hurt that much. Call me weird but I actually like the feeling when I am getting one done (except the sensitive areas!) It just feels like they are lightly drawing on your with a buzzing pin. Tickles a little too. Sometimes they do it a little hard to fill in color, sometimes its just the outline which I think is easy. But all depending on your pain tolerance, I'd say that tats are fun, pretty easy and extremely tolerable. And don't listen to anyone who says drink or smoke weed before you do it, that's just dumb, and it could make you bleed more if you drink. Tattoos are fun and extremely addicting and I promise you will feel so accomplished after getting your first! Just make sure you keep it clean, moisturized and don't pick and peel it. GOOD LUCK and I think the stars and sex thing is cool... Like I said they are very addicting I promise you will want more and more after this! HAVE FUN!!!!

Why the girls put tattoos on her private parts like boobs, thighs etc?

P R

Is it just to show off and make the guys look at them.?
Do u like putting tatoos on your private parts?

Answer
Do you do everything that you do because 'guys' do it, or do you have your own personal reasons, based on who you are and the life that you live?
'girls' (also, females, women, ladies, chicks, etc...) do whatever they do, because the choose to do so. Each person does what they do for individual reasons.
'girls' etc. don't consult a big book on what girls do and then do it.
Sheesh, everyone is an individual, we are not ants, we don't live in a colony, and the choices that we make are our choices, and if you want to know why anyone makes a choice, then you must ask that person. Don't presume.

Women with lower hip tattoos before and after pregnancy?

My fiance and i are getting married this summer, and plan on having kids together sometime. I am a pretty small naturally, work to keep my body in shape by eating healthy foods (vegetarian) and excercising, but i know that once pregnancy hits, i might not be so lucky!

I already have two tatoos, both are in areas that will not stretch when pregnant. I am getting a tattoo next month, already have the design planned out, but just wanted to get some feedback from women who have had tattoos BEFORE pregnancy.
The tattoo is going to be on my hip, not where most females get them on the hip bone, but fairly low, where the leg meets the hip, next to the pubic region.
so my question is, how many women have gotten a tattoo in this location, and how far down did your stretch marks appear during pregnancy?

any helpful, mature, comments and advice from personal experiences would be appreciated!

thank you in advance!!

Answer
I have a small tattoo in a similar location to where you want yours and I am 35-almost 36 weeks pregnant. I have had no stretch marks in that area at all, just a few little ones around my belly button.
I think you will be fine, but when you do get pregnant I recommend Earth Mama Angel Baby stretch oil: http://www.earthmamaangelbaby.com/stretch_oil.html
It's a little pricey, but it lasts throughout the pregnancy.

Good place for hidden tattoo?? ?

animalover

Hey guys so ive been thinking of getting a tattoo for years but i never though of anything and my family has always been against it. Well bottom line is im getting a paw print tattoo in memory of my dog (had him for 10 yrs) with his name on it OR with The mickey face outline thing (the disney one) because he had a mark on his leg that look exacly like the mickey one but im not planning on telling my parents or anyone but my cousin so i need some hidden locations?? I was thinking on the place where the bra goes under your armpit?? Or something like that?? Because it also need to be hidden when im wearing bathing suits and stuff? Please give me some ideas! This is very important to me

Answer
Listen closely to your tattoo artists. And take the time to choose your tattoo artists wisely. So here they are in apparent order of preference:

1. Lower Back Tattoos - This is probably the first choice as a location for a woman getting her first tattoo. Sexy, sensual, exposed at the beach but covered up at the office. May be shared with a lover but hidden from the rest of the world - especially parents and Grandma. Celebs like Angelina Jolie her her lower back tiger tattoo and Jessica Alba's bow are two examples of lower back tattoos.

2. Wrist Tattoos - popular with starlets. And can be hidden under a watch or bracelet if need be. Winston Churchill's mother had a snake encircling her wrist. Examples would be Lindsay Lohan for her wrist tattoo "breathe" and Eminem for wrist tattoos.

3. Foot Tattoos - A famous holiday vacation splurge. The problem is that tattoos on feet tend to need a lot of touching up because of their propensity to fade quickly. Carrie Otis and Charlize Theron are known for their foot tattoos.

4. Ankle Tattoos - Popularized by super models Christy Turlington and Stephanie Seymour. Can be very delicate or a bold tribal design. Check out an entire gallery of celebrity ankle tattoos

5. Armband Tattoos (true, not a specific body part) - Was once the staple in tattoo parlors around the world. Seemed like other guy in the frat house had one. Pamela Anderson triggered a wave of barbwire. The tribal armband has bought a lot of tattoo artists a new Harley.

6. Back Tattoos (also, back-piece tattoos) - The largest blank canvas on the human body. Most tattoo artists will advise you to go as large as you can comfortably mange, and then go larger. Tattoos can be an alluring enthusiasm. You may think you just want one - and which tattoo artist hasn't heard that a thousand times or more - but keep in mind when choosing your tattoo design and placement how you might incorporate it into an even larger and more elaborate piece. Check out Lena Headey, 50 Cent & LeBron James for back tattoos.

7. Arm Tattoos (which often specifies, upper arm, lower arm, forearm, shoulder and even sleeves) - see Back Tattoos. A single Koi, can in time, become an entire Japanese inspired sleeve. See Amy Winehouse, David Beckham and Anouk for examples of arm tattoos.

8. Chest Tattoos - Pectorals are a favorite spot to make a man's chest look larger. And before you ladies protest, please see number nine. Examples of chest tattoos are Lenny Kravitz and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

9. Breast Tattoos (we're standing firm on the differences between chests and breasts) - Requests for information about breast tattoos has been so popular over the years that I wrote an article entirely on that premise, called "Gilding the Lily: Why We Tattoo Breasts" Examples are Teri Polo, Christina Ricci's Blue-bird and rapper Eve.

10. Neck Tattoos - Once a taboo area for most tattoo artists and tattoo enthusiasts, the explosion in tattooing in recent years has pushed back the boundaries of what meets the community standards of acceptable body art and tattoos. Where once men and women would have full tattoo body suits, necks hands and feet were left untouched so that an individual could "cover-up" their tattoos with a suit or long dress and pass incognito in a crowd or at certain conservative social functions. musicians and tattoo artists, individuals whose independent sources of income and public reputation as "outlaws, rogues and scoundrels", has allowed them in recent years to get tattoos that were once entirely associated with gang members or individuals who had spent time in prison. But if you want to get a job in a bank when your garage band folds, you might want to think twice. See Allen Iverson for neck tattoos. Robbie Williams has a neck tattoo as well.

Are upper arm tattoos on girls tacky / butch?

beautifull

I've got a tattoo idea that I originally would have liked on my foot, but I've incorporated too much into it and its gotten too big. Another possible place *could* be my shoulder blade, but I don't like the idea of a tattoo I can't see very well (therefor tramp stamps are out of the question). Its about 3 x 3 inches big, a memorial tattoo for my dad. Its a cancer ribbon, around a lemon with writing.

No stupid answers, please.
I'm pretty open to any other place, I'm kind of shying away from the shoulder blade.. and the belly area because I kinda plan to have kids and want to avoid any place that would stretch the most.

Answer
No, an upper arm tattoo on a female is not tacky or butch. I have one on each of my upper arms.

One is an absolutely beautiful design of a lion with a lioness resting her head on his shoulder. The detail is amazing and it represents the love that I have for my husband.

The other one is a custom designed yin/yang symbol that also incorporates Peace signs -- I feel the need to spread the Peace.

I think its a shame that people that don't like tattoos don't bother to actually ask those of us that are inked what are tattoos mean. I think the average person would have a lot more respect for tattoos if they realized the personal meanings behind them.

It shouldn't matter if you male/female, number of tattoos, or locations, everyone should be able to freely express themselves.

Inner arm tattoo on girls?

Chris

I want opinions on what you think about girls with inner arm tattoos and any good ideas you might have
Nothing about tattoos are nasty or anything like that
i already have many tattoos just want to mainly know about the placement
i want something musical. Music is a huge part of my life

Answer
I believe the inner arm tattoo is a great place. Also, the wrist. Those are the two most places I find appealing. Any ideas for tattoos? Hmm.. Not necessarily, but I do recommend thinking about something that means alot to you. And don't listen to anybody else. Just do what you want to do too. And people who tell you that your tattoo is going to be there for the rest of your life, seriously... You only live once. Don't ink anything if you think you'll regret it. But honestly, some people are just small minded about tattoos and think you'll regret it. I hope you think of a great tattoo and the place where you put is, where ever you chose to put it, it'll be great.

Do you think I should get tattoos to cover the stretch marks on my shoulders, or just leave it?

Bubz

I'm a 5'11 girl and got them from a growth spurt when I was under 10. It's been there for 12 years and never went away. I have a tan skin tone so it's white and noticeable. Creams don't work. It's on both my shoulders and the sides of my arms.

Should I get a tattoo on each area to cover it? I'm 21. I HAVE NOT worn tank tops or t-shirts in the summer for over 10 years because of this. I always wear a sweater in the summer and people wonder why I cover up.
They aren't deep so they wouldn't affect the apperance of the tattoo. It looks bad tho. I've already tried the vitamin E in liquid, cream and capsule form. It doesn't work. :/ nothing works. Tanning won't work because I've tried it too.

I'm really leaning towards tattoos though...sorry guys. I've never been able to wear dresses either and it really bothers me. I want to feel good.

Answer
I wouldn't unless you REALLY want the tattoos and it's something you LOVE. I'm sure they're really not as bad as you make them out to be. In fact I guarantee your the only one it would bother if you decided to start wearing tank tops.

Aubrey, we're very similar in skin tone...but trust me I've tried everything known to man and it hasn't ever went away. Ever. I feel like I should get tattoos, because my stretch marks don't look good with dresses or anything that reveals my shoulders.

Answer
I don't think you should. What if you get tired of the tattoo? Or if it doesn't turn out how you want it?

Did you try cocoa butter?

Edit: Then get the tattoos, but make sure that it's done by someone with a good reputation and with clean needles. Also, make sure that it's something you like or that's meaningful. I was told that getting tattoos removed is more painful than actually getting it inked on.

Good luck!

Tattoos--A question to married women again..................................?

Learn2bsti

Do you have tattoos? Does your man have tatoos? Did you get your tattoo after you were together? Was your man in favor of it? Did he get his after you were together? Were you in favor of it? How can someone introduce their spouse to the idea of letting them get a tattoo?? Any serious stories or help is appreciated.

Answer
Do you have tattoos? No.
Does your man have tattoos? Yes, 17.
Did you get your tattoo after you were together? NA
Was your man in favor of it? NA
Did he get his after you were together? 4 of them were after, he had the rest when we met.
Were you in favor of it? Yes.
How can someone introduce their spouse to the idea of letting them get a tattoo?? Let them help in the choosing process.

We've been married 8 years, and he had 13 tattoos when we met. I'm not much into heavy tattooing, but at the time, it wasn't my call on what he did with his body. He got another one while we were dating, so I either had to accept it, or break it off. I chose to accept him because by then, I already cared deeply for him.

A few months after we got married, he wanted another one. We went together to the shop, and he let me pick out a tattoo for him, and the spot to put it on. My only limitations were that it had to be something similar to what he already had done, nothing off the wall. So I found a smaller design, and we decided on the back of his left wrist. I sat in the room to watch the entire process, and the artist explained everything as he did it.

Seeing all the "normal" people come and go from the store, talking to the artists, and seeing how much pleasure my husband gets from a new piece was the final decision maker for me. I set a few rules of my own (no sleeves on arms, legs, or other full body coverage) and ever since, we've agreed what and where to put each one. That way I know he's not coming home with something offensive to me (like a pot leaf) on a place that I don't want to see one (like on his neck). So far, it's worked pretty well for us.

Talk to your wife about what you want, where you want it, and the reasons why you are thinking of one. Take her with you to your local shops. Get her educated, involved, and ask her opinions. While you don't need her permission, you don't want a fight either. So make sure you remind her that it is your body, and ask for what she would mind the least to look at on a daily basis. Don't have the "I'm getting one whether you like it or not" attitude, but instead have the "I would like you to help me pick one so that it means something to both of us, and it's something we will both enjoy" attitude. She will take the hint that this is something serious for you, and maybe be more open to it.

Can a woman with a big tattoo on her one arm be straight and not bisexual?

George

Answer
Uh, really?
Ok, just because a woman has a tattoo, be it big or small, does not mean that they are either gay, straight, or bi-sexual. Getting a tattoo is not a sign of someone coming out, or anything like that. I know several women who have tattoos, some only one tattoo, some a lot, and none are gay or bi-sexual.

I donât know much about sexual orientation, I know Iâm straight, I have tattoos, and Iâm a guy. But, I am pretty sure that if someone is gay or bi-sexual or straight, itâs just the way it happened, its been there since the beginning. You cannot choose it, nor can you be âturnedâ gay or bi-sexual by getting a tattoo.

Iâve gotten tattoos before, and theyâve never âturnedâ me gay, or made me have those thoughts. In fact, the more ink I get, the more attracted I am to women with heavy ink.

Mother/daughter tattoo?

Me & my mom are getting tattoos together, & we have been trying to decide what to get. We don't want the kanji symbols, that's very overdone. We want it to relate to support, strength, or strength of women. Does anyone know symbols for any of those? Any other ideas?

Answer
Those are fairly vague concepts for people to give you ideas for.

First figure out what size tattoo you're talking about. Do you want a pin-up of rosie the riveter going up your full arm or a tiny ribbon on the back of your shoulder? Do you want to see it all the time, or just know it's there? Do you want it to be visible to others? Do you want symbolism that is open to interpretation or words that have fairly solid meanings?

What images say "strength of women" to you? What kind of strength? Is there a particular cause you had in mind? A particular woman?

Are you looking for a mama-bear protecting her cubs? Female lions running together? Real women? What says strength to you?

Any ideas of a tattoo that mean stay strong?

Christina

I want something on my hip or wrist just to remind me to stay strong.

Answer
The tattoo that means strength is the black panther.

The black panther is the largest and most ferocious cat of the Americas, pound for pound more fierce and dangerous than: the tiger, the lion or the leopard. The panther is at the pinnacle of the food chain in the Americas. Wherever this feline is found, it's revered for its strength, valor and power. Also for its maternal gentleness. As a tattoo motif, the panther makes a powerful statement about the person who chooses it, for it is a symbol of courage, strength and personal leadership.

On a woman, they look best on a forearm or outer calf. If you want it perfect, make sure the length of the panther matches the length of your forearm or calf or it wont look right.

girls with tattoos?????

ashley_luv

I really want to get a tattoo but my parents say that they are gross on girls. I just want to know what other people think about them so let me know if you think they are gross or hot.
I want to get stars on the sides of my stomach
they will have meaning because i want 18 stars so 9 on each side and most will be small but the years that have the most memories the good and the bad with have be a bigger star like they year my dad died and the year i moved, and all of my little brothers birth years and nine is one of my favortie numbers

Answer
I have a tattoo on my hip.
It's a hummingbird and a flower. I love it.

I think they can be trashy if you have too many, or it's something stupid(like a cartoon character). Your idea sounds cute though =)

I wish I would have put more thought into my tattoo... I should have gotten something with a little more meaning. I still like it, but I wish it had some meaning. I want to get a quote on my wrists to inspire me.... I'm a recovering cutter, and most of the time I cut on my arms. I want to get a quote that inspires me. I will have to look at it everytime I wanna cut, so I'm hoping that it will discourage me. I also want to get angel wings on my back for my dad who died three years ago. I want them to be just greyscale and not cartoonish at all... They will form a heart in the middle and in the heart it will say "Free Bird" and have my dads initials. Free Bird because it was his favorite song, and he really is free now. If something ever happens to my grandpa I will get a fish on my foot... Fishing is his favorite thing in the world. I think that's all of my tattoos...

Good Luck! And sorry about the long answer... =)

Tattoos & piercings on girls?

Null

So I really like tattoos & piercings. I'm 17 & I have my septum, bellybutton & upper ear pierced.

When I'm 18 (in December) I really want to get my tongue pierced & a portrait on my forearm.

My parents are very religious, conservative people. I don't believe in god & I don't attend church. I'm a virgin & I smoke pot occasionally.

I just feel If I get tattoos & piercing they won't accept me. They're always talking about how"trashy" they are & I'll look like a "hoe" idk what to do... I'm scared.

I hide my piercings now but someday I'll have to show them, how will I start to reveal all this?

Answer
If you want a tattoo, get it. I'm also in your situation. I have both nostrils pierced, stretched ears, cartilage, septum, and I'm getting my belly pierced. I plan on getting a lot of tattoos and I also feel they won't accept me. My parents aren't hardcore Christians or anything, they don't attend church very often, but my mom doesn't like tattoos and my dad always goes by what my mom says, yet he has tattoos himself. When you're 18, you can legally get a tattoo without parent permission. Get the tattoo in a easy to hide area, such as your back, legs, stomach, ect. You can easily hide those with clothing. After awhile of having it, you can eventually show it to them. There's not really anything they can do about it after you have it. They should accept you for you, and yeah they might be mad at first but they will probably get over it. Also, having tattoos and/or piercings does not make you trashy or a hoe, and don't listen to that person up there. I think tattoos look awesome on old people. You won't regret it, trust me. As long as it's not something stupid and you did it professionally and took care of it right.

i'm yours<

i know that i'm young (13-15) and i can't get a tattoo just yet. but i kind of wanted to get something written on my wrist. how dangerous is that? and how much does a tattoo hurt? and no, please don't compare it to child labor. my mom already said that but i can't exactly relate to that. at all. anyways, and if not on my wrist i would want to get one where my dad wouldn't see. other than my butt or boob?
to tonycast.
what the heck.
i meant that if i said where my dad cant see (he's against tattoos) everyone would say butt or boobs.

pervert.
guys you seriously think i was getting one now???? get real. my mom would murder me. i mean when im 18 (supposed to be a b-day present for me for her since she got my sister one). my mum would be signing and watching over it.

Answer
As far as the danger goes, the only place that is NOT a good idea is on your head, as there can be a LOT of bleeding. Another bad place: the hands and feet. The skin on these places sheds and regrows so fast that the tattoos fade quickly- but not dangerous. Otherwise, if you talk to a tattoo artist, they will be able to tell you the risks of getting it where.

The pain involved with a tattoo depends on the person, but generally anywhere that it is over bone with no fat or muscle (ie ankle, tailbone, shoulder blade, spine!) really hurts. Also, places where the skin is naturally soft and tender- wrists, forearms, armpit, ankles, inside thighs- all hurt.

I've known girls who have passed out fom getting the "tramp stamp" on their lower back, and also guys who've been reduced to tears when getting inked on their ribs. Other people sit with a smile and read a magazine.

Since you are so young, it is not likely that you will get a licensed tattoo artist to do this for you- and maybe not even with a parents' consent! Many artists are bound by the rules of the parlor they work for. I would not advise going to a "garage artist" or a friend of a friend who happens to have a tattoo gun. This is how AIDS and Hep. C get spread!

My advice is try Henna. It is a strong dye made from plants, and comes from India. It takes a little practice to use it right, but you can get some stellar effects with it. It stays on for 3-6 months, and fades after that. Women in India get their hands and feet decorated in it before their weddings, and it can look just as good (if not better) than real tattoos!
You can order it here, or google for a place in your city on where to get it:
http://www.earthhenna.com/

If you really like it, you can just re-apply it every few months until you are old enough to actually get inked. If you don't like it, you don't have to reapply it! You're happy, Mom's happy!

Hope this was helpful, and Good Luck!

PS~ The only reason anyone mentioned giving blood to your kids: you just can't get inked when you are PREGNANT because of the risk of infection. Before or after you have kids doesn't matter!

Which is more low-class - girls fighting with one another or being tattooed?

Flower Chi

I think that many people these days don't even know what "class" is, but when I think of the most classy person, I think of Princess Di or someone like that. Never in a million years would she get tattooed or fight with another woman.

Answer
The first.... classy girls don't fight.

But of course, location of the tattoo can be a giveaway on what class the girl has. Classy girls get tattoos on their lower back, or ankle, classless girls get them on their upper arms, like they were a sailor.

Christians: Do you think God approves of the tattoos you get to glorify him?

Scary Sara

Like that tasteful 5x7 inch cross on the base of your spine? Or perhaps that faithful rendering of Anglo Saxon Jesus on your forearm?

Answer
Obviously, a tattoo of a cross is âbetterâ than a tattoo of a flaming skull, naked woman, or demon. Having a tattoo saying âJesus savesâ could indeed be a conversation starter with some people who would never approach a preacher wearing a suit and tie. Some refer to Revelation 19:16 as an example of Jesus possibly having a tattoo on His thigh, âKing of kings and Lord of lords.â The question is not necessarily âis getting a tattoo a sin?â The question is more âis getting a tattoo a good and necessary thing to do?â First Corinthians 10:23 declares, âEverything is permissible â but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible â but not everything is constructive.â Christian tattoos may be âpermissible,â but are they beneficial and constructive?

In 1 Corinthians 9:22-23, Paul exclaims, âI have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel.â Becoming all things to save some is perhaps the only good possible reason for getting a Christian tattoo. If having a tattoo genuinely opens doors for evangelism that would otherwise be closed, getting Christian tattoos would likely âqualifyâ under Paulâs âbecoming all thingsâ qualification. At the same time, it is frankly difficult to envision a scenario in which having a tattoo would enable a greater possibility of evangelism. If a person will not listen to you due to a lack of a tattoo, it is highly unlikely that such a person would genuinely listen due to the presence of a tattoo.

With that said, the biblically based conclusion would seem to be that Christian tattoos are permissible, but it is highly questionable whether they can be considered beneficial and constructive. A Christian considering getting a tattoo should pray for wisdom (James 1:5) and ask the Lord to provide pure motives and discernment.

I've also hard if you do have a cross tattoo then Satan cannot touch you but I need to find it all out for my self ! so which is it , a sin or not a sin ?

I am wanting to get a tattoo.

i am a student nurse, so will one day be a nurse and will need to be able to have it hidden for work.

do you think tattoos are tacky on girls ?
i am also a bit fat so somewhere where the tattoo will not stretch as much if i lose or gain more weight
i am also a bit fat so somewhere where the tattoo will not stretch as much if i lose or gain more weight

Answer
Im a girl and i recently got a tattoo on my foot, i want to be a teacher in the future so putting my tattoo somewhere i could easily hid it was very important to me. My sister in law is a phyciatrist and has a tattoo on her foot, it is easy to hid with closed shoes:) Perfect for a nurse because you would be wearing shoes anyway. Also it does not get as affected by weight loss and gain like other parts of the body. Also it does not hurt as bad as people say:) The worst part of the whole thing is the itching while it heals and only being about to wear certin kind of sandels that dont cover it while healing:)

Hope I helped! Good Luck(:

On a side note, dont listen to what other people think, if you like tattoos and you want one thats your choice. Its your body not anyone elses(:

Would you date a girl with 4 tattoos?

Andy

I have 4 but they are pretty tasteful and they are where you can hide them, except I have a big on my foot but other than that they only show when I wear certain shirts or a swimsuit.
Someone called me trashy the other day but I don't think I am, I just think tattoos are hot.

Answer
Yes,I think tattoos on girls are sensual and hot, especially foot tattoos :)
So don't cover them up, be barefoot as much as possible showing your foot tattoo.

Heart/star tattoo? Wrist/foot? I DoNt KnOw!?!?!?

Q. I want to get a really small (1cm or less) tattoo on my foot of either a heart or star. I would get it either on the base of my middle/2nd toe or on the skin just above the small/4th toes. I've wanted this for about a year but have only just decided to go for it and get it done (i'm really really indecisive about every single thing I do). If I keep it small at least it wont be some big thing I regret in years to come. What do you think I should get done out of the things I've said above? I've done loads of research about tattoos and read that tattoos on the foot can fade more easily and can also stretch/distort out of shape. Is this as bad as it sounds? Another place I was thinking is on the inside of my wrist or somewhere on one of my hands. Again as it will be so small I dont think it would be a big problem to have it on my hand? What do you think about anything I've said?

Thanks.
Also I'm not doing this because its part of a trend or whatever, I want it because I think it will look good. I know hearts and stars are really generic but I know why and what I'm getting it done for so dont worry about telling me that everyone gets that stuff done. I could carry on thinking about getting it done but to be honest thats not gonna get me anywhere because I'll still be in exactly the same place but just a little bit older. I'm as sure as I get about anything at the moment so I think theres got to be a cut off point to thinking about stuff. As I said I'm an extremely indecisive. I've already asked the opinion of people I know but I just want t know what people who are removed from my situation think. So theres no need to tell me that I should think about it some more. BELIEVE ME I have. How small is the smallest I should go for it not to turn into a blob of nothingness?

Answer
Right, first of all in my opinion i prefer a star to a love heart, i also say either where you want it on your foot and on the wrist are both cool places to get it. I saw a video on youtube of a girl getting a star on her foot, it was so cute! I just like wrist tattoos, never saw a love heart or star on someones wrist.

As for the stretching and fading, every tattoo can stretch and fade, but less likely to stretch unless on your stomach or if you get growing stretch marks, every tattoo will fade at some point that's just a case of getting it touched up which isn't really a big problem.

Don't get it on your palm though and don't get it too small.

Also, for the girl that said it was very painful to get on your toe, don't listen to her. Everyones pain is different for one and the pain lasts a few minutes only and there is no other pain.

TATTOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Paigeee <3

I'm 15 and my step mom said i can get a tattoo when i turn 16 which is jan 6th. What should my first tattoo be a tramp stamp or like a little star or something? If you have any suggestions plz write them down & try to put a picture lol thank you!!!!!!!

Answer
First, don't let anyone sway your opinion on if you want a lower back tattoo. They were around long before the term "tramp stamp" was invented, and they'll be around long after people ask "what's a tramp stamp?". If that's what you want, then go for it!

Second, seeing as to how tattoos are forever, make it something meaningful, or something that you will enjoy for the rest of your life. Remember that likes and dislikes will change a lot over your life (especially in the next 5 years of your life), so when you make your decision, make sure that it won't be something you'll hate later on in life, such as lyrics from a band you can't remember 20 years from now ^_~ (however, if it's meaningful lyrics, or from your 'all time favorite band', then consider it [ex: I would be happy with the lyrics from Metallica's Fade to Black, but I'd kick myself if I had Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby]).

Likewise, if you choose some picture of some sort, unless you plan to have a 'child-like playfulness' about you your entire life, I would avoid any sort of child-like imagery (if fate should have it that, at 80, you're a bitter old woman, you will hate the lollipop tattoo on your ankle), or conversely, anything too 'extreme' from your 'average self' (if at 80 you're a kid-at-heart, the tattoo that reminds you to take the "safe route" might become too stuffy for you).

For something meaningful, consider your own personality traits. If you think of yourself as being courageous, pick a lion. If you're cute, pick a puppy or a ribbon. If you love stargazing, pick celestial figures. If you're religious, pick your favorite passage from your (insert appropriate book here), or an icon from your favorite story. If you take pride in your heritage, pick a pattern based off that heritage... and so on.

If you want something purely artistic but simple, some suggestions: a shower of stars, a rainbow ending in a cloud, butterflies (consider natural butterflies as well, as they are just as vivid in nature as our own imaginations), frogs, geckos, vines, flowers, leaves, small birds, owls, or smiley face with "Have A Nice Day" (or maybe a pirate happy face with "Have A Piratey Day, ARRR!", or some other theme like that).

Most tattoo shops will have flash (common tattoo images) on their walls for you to look at, so if no ideas here satisfy what you want, check out their flash, and see if you can't work with your artist to come up with something that's "uniquely you".

star tattoos?

tennischam

my friend told me that when a girl has a star tattoo on her wrist it means shes gay. is that true?

Answer
Great question. I've also wondered this. I have noticed that a lot of out lesbian/bi women that I have seen on TV, like Dani and Tila, on MTV's "A Shot of Love With Tila Tequila", and others, have the star tattoos you're talking about. I've also noticed that on these out women, the tats aren't always on their wrists. So I can't tell you that I know the story behind it, but have noticed it. So, there could be a good chance that a woman with that tattoo is lesbian/bi, but I'm not saying it's 100% fool proof.

FOUND IT: On http://tattoos.lovetoknow.com/Nautical_Star_Tattoos it states:
"Lesbian and Gay Symbolism
Since the 1940's and 1950's, a nautical star tattoo has been used by some homosexuals to indicate their sexual preference. Lesbians started this practice among themselves during an era when homosexuality was frowned upon and not spoken about. Many lesbians chose to get a small nautical star tattoo on the top of their wrist, which could easily be covered by a watch if needed."

tribal WAS extremely trendy a few years ago
tattoo artists are actually refusing to do tribal anymore....it's THAT overdone

but honestly, it's your body........so get whatever you want
although from everything you've said, I can be pretty confident that you're not anywhere near ready for a tattoo

Im planning MAYBEE to get a tattoo so any ideas?

Answer
if you're getting a tattoo because you just wanna look cute a trendy and sexy for guys, DONT BOTHER. im so sick of girls getting their hips and shit tattooed with flowers or stars or hearts because its cute and they think it'll get them laid.

but if you're serious and want it for YOU and not to look trendy or whatever, i think ribs are awesome. i have my ribs done. its easy to hide, but u can show it off at the beach. huge space where you can get something small, or something huge. won't stretch if you have kids, like your tummy or low abdomen or hips might.

good luck

one on each wrist...but i want it to be in korean of my little girls names. can anyone help me with that? names are evelyn and autumn

Answer
I want tattoos as well but then I think of going out to really nice restaurants or banquets or etc and I think of wanting to dress up and look really elegant and my tattoo ruining my look. I am unsure if I will get one or not..... who actually goes to that kind of stuff anyway you know. Go to any translation site and select English to Korean and you may be able to put in your girls' names and get the translations. If not there should be sites with hundreds of preselected names in English translated to Korean.

Ideas on where on my body to get a tattoo, and still look CLASSY?

Softy

i was thinking along the side of my foot. im a very elegant type of girl, when it comes to clothes and style. i want to do sumthing CRAZY. but still keep the innocent look. also idea on WHAT to get done. pictures would be great.

Answer
Im 18, i just got a tattoo on the right outside of my foot. Im also very elegant type girl. Wearing heels most of the time you can cover it up with a pair of show it off depends on the situation that you may face. i have Live Laugh Love, its not straight across curved a little to wrap almost to my toes. If I had a picture i would show you but its very hot. i love it. But make sure if you have something written on the foot its what you want it to say that means something to you, and the choosing of the font was the hardest. I combined two different fonts to make it what i like and i love it. alot of people say it hurts getting on the foot the outline hurts the most, because of lease needles but its tolerated. I would love to have another one put on my left foot. If you need ideas about foot tattoos, www.yahoo.com in the address bar. then the search engine put foot tattoos and then click on the images and you will see a alot of ideas just looking at other peoples feet and what they have on it in tattoos. but that gives you and idea best of luck!

need some relationship advice?

its a secr

i have been with my current partner for 10 years, we are engaged with a 2yr old child.
my reason for not being married yet is financial and situational. we have spent 9 of the 10 years basically in debt and needing to live with other people.

we met in computer 3d class when we were 20. we both have artistic backgrounds.

the main source of our problems at the moment is that she feels I'm not the same person i was when we met, i have almost nothing to do with art anymore and my focus is 'money'. which is true.

from my point of view, art was never going to buy us a home let alone keep the debt collectors at bay. so two years ago i quit my graphic design job and asked my father to teach my his trade. i now (as of xmas 2010) have been working for myself and making decent money. i've managed to pay off a lot of debt, buy a decent, safe and reliable family car, update some needed household items etc.. the payoff however has been my time.

i work a job that is either all or nothing, being that if work is there, i need to take it cos it may not be there tomorrow. for example my last two weeks have gone like this, i worked 11 days straight, each day starting early (7-8am) and the earliest i would get home would have been around 7pm, 2am being the latest, only to get up the next morning and do it all again. i just took friday and saturday off, and i used it to take my parter to the movies, my child to the doctors and then saturday went shopping with them both. today being sunday i had to work again. and the cycle continues.

she feels i'm no longer the person she met, being that she met an artist.
i feel that since we now have a child it is my responsibility to provide for my family, i need to be able to be self sufficient to be able to provide all the things that families need etc.. I'm trying real hard to be able to balance this job with family life, as if my family goes then so does my reason for working so hard.

I'm trying to work 4 days a week (since the days are so long) and give myself a day to recover (as the job is quite physically demanding) and that allows 2 days to dedicate to my family and help around the house.

my main gripe with her is that she has basically given up, she demands a lot from me (time wise), she expects that when I'm home, having a day off work that i will take the load of the house and give her a break, when i really need the break myself.

she spends most of her time on an online computer game, she enjoys video editing so she uses the game to create videos.
she basically neglects most of the house hold things such as cleaning and cooking. I'm not a guy that expects the misses to cook and clean etc.. but i do believe that it's a team thing, and if one person is bringing home the bacon the other contributes by helping out with the other stuff.

she hates cooking and after work i have to cook most of the time, to which i enjoy but not after a 12 hour plus day.
dishes are never done, clothes are never washed⦠i don't understand why helping out is so difficult.

she does look after our 2yr old, quite well i might add.
we placed our child in daycare 2 days a week, but she uses those days to play her online game uninterrupted.
i feel she spends too much time on her game and not enough time with day to day things.

she feels my expectations of a stay at home mum are too high, whereas i don't feel they are.
she feels i use the excuse "i work" as a trump card that she can't top, so she doesn't bother at all.

she also feels like she has lost her own sense of herself, in that, i have all the 'control' in the household and she just bows down and lets me have my way.
to which i disagree as everything I'm doing is for her, she just doesn't see it the same way.

she is trying to get back her own 'power', one way in which she is doing this is by getting a tattoo.
when we first started going out she mentioned she wanted to get a big arse tattoo down her arm. now unfortunately she's a heavy set woman and extremely pale skinned and as an artist i just know it won't look any good.

but on top of that, i have a phobia about permanent tattoo on one's skin. and i asked her to promise me that whilst we were together that she'd agree to never get a tattoo, because i can't handle it. (i also made mention that smoking was a deal breaker).

might sound harsh or some people might say controlling, but i feel that if i don't like asian women, then i simply don't date asian women, hence i hate tattoo's and smoking so i let her know before we got too serious.

so one night when she broke down, she made mention she has no control, not even if she gets a tattoo or not.
so i said, ok, fine.. you can do whatever you like. but you know how i feel about them.

so she is now deciding to get one, and looking for one. i've decided to help her find a good o
so she is now deciding to get one, and looking for one. i've decided to help her find a good one, cos i figure if she is going to get one it better be a damn good one. i know she wants a large one, that the world can see.. but i really need it to be something i can't see. (out of sight out of mind type of deal).
she wants its on her chest/shoulder.. basically above her breast but below her shoulder. and to me that's something i will see a lot of. i feel it will be a turn off when being intimate and could lead to further relationship problems.

i mentioned on her inner ankle (trying to keep it small and out of sight) she's thinking her wrist if not her chest, or her upper back. but again, when you hug/spoon with someone at night, it's again something that will repulse me.

so yeah, that's her way of being "in control" i guess.

i don't know what to do.

Answer
My dear friend, accept my congratulations as you are a wonderful husband material.Any woman can be proud of you.And it is always fate for such good man that he does not get good understanding partner.I am with you for not allowing a tattoo. It disfigures a woman.Even I hate a tattooed women. It may look odd and unusual but my suggestion is,as you are not married her,you can leave her.You wil be able to work and adjust your time, including rest, freely.Your mind will be at peace and without any tension. You can provide for her and your child. And anyhow you do not have house,

What's the animated song that has an old man with black wings tattooing a heart? The animation almost looks 3D?

Josh

The main line of the music is piano. It shows a story of a man and a woman in love and they take a trip to the carnival. The woman ends up cheating on the man with the circus clown so he kills himself. After he's crumpled on the pavement a large old man pulls his heart out with his cane. Throughout the entire video the old man is tattooing the events that led to the man's death on his heart.

Answer
I have two skulls with bows on them on my chest. Love them, girls without being too girly.

Have you tried going to a tat site that specializes in flash art? You can get really good ideas from those. Print out different images of things you like and get the tattoo artist to draw something up incorporating those.

Im sick of the played out tattoos as well but since I don't know what is meaningful for you I can't really give any great suggustions other than no butterflies, no nautrical stars, no lotus flowers.

Do guys not like tattoos on girls?

ME!!

Not a whole sleeve or anything just two or so small, cute ones in tasteful places.

Answer
My older sister has a small tattoo on her ankle, it's tasteful. Some guys like it, others don't.

If it's in a place where it can be covered easily. Because think about it, you have a tattoo on your wrist, ankle, neck, etc. if you go to a wedding, funeral, or other formal event. It will make you look trashy.

So if it's somewhere like your rib cage, hip, bottom of foot(that's a painful and sensitive spot) or anywhere that can be covered easily with clothing or shoes.

It also depends on the tattoo, PLEASE DON'T GET SOME GUYS NAME! My friend got a tattoo of her boyfriends name on her wrist, well they broke up and now she permanently has the name "Devin" tattooed on her wrist. But if you get your child's name tattooed on you, that's cool. But something subtle, a flower, butterfly, a small saying. One of my other sisters has a tattoo on her rib cage that says "Ti amo" it's I love you in Spanish(I think)

Also, when your older. Like in your 30s and you have kids...do you mind if your kids know you have a tattoo? Also, when your 60 years+ that tattoo is going to be wrinkly and gross. But that won't be so bad if you can cover it up easily.

But it's completely your decision, good luck! :)

MEN: do you think leopard spot thongs are hot?

shy girl

do think girl's leopard spot Panty or thongs are hot on them?
do u like this pattern??

Answer
First of all, as a disclaimer, I want to say that fashion and beauty are subjective, and everyone has different tastes.

THONG 101:

Now, to answer your question.. for the most part, "HELL, yes!". BUT it's not because of the animal print. Guys are very visual and anything sexy will titillate us anyway, so the idea of just a thong is +1 Google points already. Follow this with an unexpected animal print and we are thinking, "whoa, awesome wild girl!'.

Keep in mind that the person wearing it plays a 100% role in how much we like something too. A "nerdy" library girl or a seemingly "nice" girl wearing animal print thong is hot because of the contrast. It causes a surprise which excites. A hooker wearing one is not at all as great, but hey, it's still a thong on a chick so... yay? but, it's almost expected.

Some guys like tattoos on girls and some don't, but it will never stop us from hooking up with a girl we find attractive. Same with thong prints! I am, personally, more used to less aggressive tones on girl, but an animal print once in a while is still bloody hot.

No matter what, make sure you have the confidence and a decent shape to wear it. Cheers.

What do you think of a leopard print tattoo?

maygunnmar

I am going in to get a tattoo after Christmas, I have this obsession with leopard print since it's so exotic. I was wondering what you thought about how it would look. It would be on my left shoulder down to mid upper arm. Should it just be black or with color too? Please help<3

*if you post any links to pictures i can only see them if the link is from photobucket and tiny pic for some reason, so post it from there. thankyou.

Answer
I think in moderation is looks very pretty. From the shoulder to mid upper arm would be the perfect size. And I would say adding the color, it might look a little weird with just black. Maybe with the color inside the black ring of the spots? Like Erica from the Bad Girls Club. Look her up.

Some Indian women have a red dot on their forheads,, Is that supposed to be a target or what?

sadness_pr

couldnt resist a funny question..

Answer
The 'red dot' is known as a 'bindi' in Indian Language. Bindi is an auspicious makeup worn by young Hindu girls and women on their forehead. The term is derived from bindu, the Sanskrit word for a dot or a point. It is usually a red dot made with vermilion (finely powdered bright red mercuric sulphide). Considered a blessed symbol of Uma or Parvati (Indian Goddess), a bindi signifies female energy and is believed to protect women and their husbands. Traditionally a symbol of marriage (hence the widows did not wear vermilion), it has now become a decorative item and is worn today by unmarried girls and women of other religions as well. No longer restricted in color or shape, bindis today are seen in many colors (not just red)and designs and are manufactured with self-adhesives and felt.

Just like people with tattoos aren't jokers, Indian women with red dots aren't targets.

Do visible tattoos make women look less classy?

trendsette

Especially the ones on the neck. It seems some women go out of their way to look as cheesy as possible.

Answer
Yes, tattoos make a woman look trashy. You may find them cool and trendy when you are young but what becomes of the tattoo when the woman gets old and wrinkled. The tattoo becomes distorted as flesh sags and that is definitely trashy. Ask some of the biker chicks of the 50's and 60's and see what they say. Tattoos also are not good when you are seeking work. They do not look professional.

Tattoos on women...how do you feel?

noway

do you think tattoos on women r sexy or should they not mark up their bodies...i wanna get 1 saturday but i'm still hesitant...what do ya'll think

Answer
I have many tattoos and like them on women too. I LOVE a girl with nice ink. There are girls with bad ink though, I feel kind of bad for them. I think if you get good work done a lot of guys would probably be into it.

I can't speak for non-inked guys but inked guys will almost always accept it. I can't see many non-inked guys turning down a hot chick just because she has a tattoo! So many people have them these days is not as big of a deal as it used to be. Especially if it's a good tattoo, you may find people saying "Normally I don't like tattoos but yours is beautiful!" which happens to me a lot.

Either way, I would not worry about it. If this is something YOU want then go for it. A man who loves you, loves you for who you are. Your ink will be part of who you are but there is so much more to a person than the outside. If he loves you, he'll love your ink too!

Your opinions please?

Sometimes.

Fast, hard footsteps pounded the concrete that was heavy with rain. Puddles lurked everywhere, with a misty fog in the distance that clouded the eyes of the group. Farther back, marching could be heard, only faintly. Glowing yellow eyes loomed through the clouds, and sounds of thunder were angrily striking the gloomy sky above. The footsteps becoming lighter and breaths of air coming out, had the pelts of legs stopping and several eyes looking back to see how far the lights were.

"We can't outrun them!" Shouted a feminine voice that was much too loud for every ones liking.

"She's right, we have to split up, if we don't. we will all be screwed." A stern voice said with complete dominance.

"Okay, we split into groups of two. Tobie, Annie, you go left. Ryan, Sam, you head right. D-wayne and I will head straight and be decoys for them to follow. Do not look back, do not stop. We agree to meet up at base." This voice came from Aaron a deadly boy who knew too much about explosives and weapons.

"Alright, what if we get there first?" Sam asked, her hand seeking out desperately to get ahold of Ryan.

"Then we grab the weapons and we wait. If someone doesn't return, we wait 30 minutes, and then we search." Dwayne spoke, looking around the heads on Tobie and Annie. "We got to go."

"But D-wayne! We can't wait for them, we have to get out of this town." Annie said with a frown on her soft cheeks.

"Listen, we don't leave anyone behind." He said harshly. "Do you understand?"

Her blue eyes searched the mans hard features. "Fine."

"Do. You. Understand?" He repeated with more force.

"I understand." Now her hand, grabbed Tobies tightly. "Come on."

Several weeks earlier Sam and Tobie were walking toward their law enforcement class, with a girl that had blue hair and wide green eyes. She had a disgusted look on her face, as always and she was grunting with hate. "You need to shut your ******' mouth, before I shut it for you, Sam." The girl turned to give a glare at the dark redhead with big brown eyes.

"I didn't call you a slut, damn! You are always such a *****, and you think everyone is making fun of you in some way, or that they are calling you names. If you weren't so insecure, Ginger, then you wouldn't have a ******' problem." Sam announced to her, arms flailing in the air.

Tobie, a boy with dirty blonde hair, watched with amusement littering his green eyes. "You two are ridiculous." He muttered with a chuckle. He usually added to the fights to make them more fun, but in honesty he was really tired of the fighting.

Both girls crossed their arms and waited for him to open the lightly brown door of the classroom, walking in they found the slightly balding teacher with gray hair and a moustache to match it. His glasses were falling down his face, and he was clumsily holding and dropping papers. "Tobie, Ginger, Sam! Welcome, it's nice to see you all today, how was your weekend?" He asked cheerfully, patting each on the head and ruffling Tobies hair, though it was kind of hard with the gray hat perched upon his head.

Tobie lifted his brow with a confused smile. "Mr. Hudson, are you okay? You're really chipper today."

Sam looked at Tobie, stupidly. "Chipper, really? You couldn't think of anything better?"

"Oh Tobie, ya little scamp." Mr. Hudson said with a bright grin. "I'm feeling absolutely fantastic." He then reached out and pinched Tobies cheek. "I really like that hat? Is it new? It looks great on you."

Ginger then looked at him, shook her head and walked away. Her shirt was lifting slightly in the back and another teacher that stood by his desk, who was pudgy glanced at it. "Ginger, that's a nice tattoo, though it looks like a tramp stamp."

With this, Tobie and Sam broke out into giggles. Gingers face contourted and she flipped him off, stomping to her seat. "I guess I should take my hat off now." Tobie said going to lift his hat.

"Oh no, you keep it on, ya little soldier." He said fixing it on his head. "You're supposed to have fun here, not get told what to do." He walked away, tripping on his own two feet and he laughed.

Tobie and Sam glanced at eachother with dropping jaws. "That was ******' weird." They said at the same time with eyes big.

This is the short version so far that Tobie and I are writing together. I'd like some constructive critisism, and please keep the comments positive. It isn't done and it's completely rough. Thank you.

Answer
Well....This is okay, but you have a lot of word choice issues:

How can concrete be "heavy with rain?" Try "wet with rain."

"Misty fog" is redundant. Either it's mist or it's fog.

"Farther back, marching could be heard, only faintly." That sounds awkward. Try "Farther back, faint marching could be heard."

"Glowing yellow eyes loomed through the clouds, and sounds of thunder were angrily striking the gloomy sky above." I'm sorry, I don't understand what's going on in this sentence. Are the clouds clouds of fog or clouds in the sky? Are the eyes real eyes? You don't want to confuse your reader.

"The footsteps becoming lighter and breaths of air coming out, had the pelts of legs stopping and several eyes looking back to see how far the lights were." Try saying the footsteps BECAME lighter. "Had the pelts of legs." What are pelts of legs? Think about what you're trying to say.

"We can't outrun them!" Shouted a feminine voice that was much to loud for everyone's liking. Shouted shouldn't be capitalized there. Is the voice feminine or female? There's a difference.

"She's right, we have to split up, if we don't. we will all be screwed." A stern voice said with complete dominance. Try this: "She's right. We have to split up! If we don't, we will all be screwed," a stern voice said with complete dominance." See how it flows better?

"This voice came from Aaron a deadly boy who knew too much about explosives and weapons." You need commas in here: "This voice came from Aaron, a deadly boy who knew too much about explosives and weapons." Actually, it's just one comma, but do you see how the sentence is easier, less rambling?

"Now her hand, grabbed Tobies tightly." Try: "Now her hand grabbed Tobie's tightly" or "She grabbed Tobie's hand and held it tightly in her own."

Please don't think I'm mean. Consider this constructive criticism. I hope it helped. Good luck with your story! :)

Answer
hey! how are you? I was surfing around when I found your q and it sounds like you have much the same style as me, but you are a guy.
first off, some other places/brands you might want to look at are:
-hurley
-West 49 (they do have some nice shoes)
-blue-notes
-footlocker

Shirts-tops:
-t's are always good, no pink! unless you can find a really nice one...
-black and or white muscle tops that show off your arms, make sure they aren't too thin... separate your work out ones, dress ones, work ones ans everyday ones...
-sweaters are critical! zip up hood with cool patterns.green (with your eyes, it will look gorgeous, but pick the right shades!) blue, red, brown and black are some ideas...

bottoms:
-BOARD SHORTS! they are great with the right T and hood, and believe me, the girl(S) will be drooling all over you!!!
-jeans they must be the right type!!! DO NOT WEAR SKINNY'S! DO NOT HAVE YOUR PANTS HANGING OFF YOUR ASS DOWN TO YOUR KNEES! those are two rules guys really need to learn. some find it attractive, others find it annoying. lets just say most chicks are down with #2. the colour and wash matter, for surf, i would suggest a light wash, in blue. if you like it, maybe a few holes...not my fave but it might be yours. a wide leg, and they should be the right length, if you need to- have them hemmed. make sure they dont drag. if you like a slightly ripped bottom, take a serrated knife and GENTLY scrape accross bottom in HORIZONTAL lignes(------ not | or /).

shoes:
you say you dont like flip flops...but if you DO find a pair you like, they look good w/ the shorts and sometimes jeans... if your gay- sorry!dont get offended, but if not- make sure they arent pink or bright or...dont wear them with socks. please.
-deck shoes are always a favorite, and go great with jeans and shorts, and other things too. a white pair and a black pair are essential. make sure you dont get to gangsta on us...get good quality ones too. adidas are nice, same with dc's. if they are suede or leather, make sure you spray/coat them regularly, once the dirt gets in- it doesnt come out/off. there are products that renew colour. ex if black sued ones are turning gray- lightening at toes, there is a product that is like paint-for your shoes...i dont know it, but i have had a bud do it for me. get help if you need too.
-runners...they can make or ruin an outfit. make sure they are properly fitted, and only wear them with the right outfits. they are great for the gym, make sure they compliment your shape.

accesories.
-hats. they can make or break an outfit choose wisely. dont buy anything too flashy!you dont want to look like a gangsta wanna-be. tooks are great. wear them on your runs in the morn, or when it's cold.
- rings: it depends if you like them or not. nothing to flashy, but if you do wear rings, keep them in a safe place when you go to wash the dishes/work out. if there is a chance you are going to loose them, leave them at home.
-necklaces: OMG i love you! a surf style lover, who actualy agknowledges the necklaces and anklets. i make mine, and i am curently wearing 4. hemp style/braided is pretty cool. gives off the surffer vibe... a few wooden beads laced throughout looks good. it should hug your neck, but not choke it... a loose choker... you can make your own. buy some yarn-thread or whatever you like... and get 3 pieces. mesure your neck, how long? say 20 cm. times it by 1 and a half- 2. so...30-40 cm each in length.take the ends and male a knot.then start braiding. to add a beadstick the middle piece throught the hole, and the other two around it...then, keep braiding. when it reaches the desired length (a bit longer than your neck...) make another knot and cut. then tie it around your neck with a double knot. when it falls off, you get a wish...but if it falls of after the first little while, it doesnt count. make sure you wash it when it's on your neck.
-anklets: same goes, make them match/similar in some way... when you put on your shoes/socks, makesure you wear ankle socks and it is out of the sock.
-earings: depends where it is. the top? then rings or bars are best. a ring with one ball in the middle always looks great. as for the bottom, dont go for blinging diamonds. a small stud is always hot.
-belts. wear one when needed. make sure it goes with the outfit. nothing to bright earth shades like in camo patterns. but the belt should not be camo patterned.

work:
you work at a tatto place, but have no tattoo???good. its really up to you, but remember, they are expensive, painfull and permanent. getting it removed is very $$$! henna tattos are great for that type off thing. make sure it's well done and kept up to date. see how you like it. you say you are muscular, right? then get one around your bicep.barbed wire or something...always hot. i kinda want one...
-black is always formal, and goess with all. EXEPT NAVY BLUE, unless we are talking jeans...thats a diffrent story...
-tops: something t

Eating disorder tattoo?

ilovemylif

I struggled with anorexia from age 9 to 13. I finally recovered or thought I did but when I gained weight I started throwing up and have been struggling with bulimia from age 14 untill today I want a quote I can place under my left breast (where my heart is) that symbolizes my struggle with an eating disorder, the eating disorder it's self, or recovering from one. I do see a nutritionist and a thearapist for my eating disorder so I am getting help and I know one day overcome it.

Answer
I know someone with a (breast cancer, but a struggle none the less) tattoo under her left breast that reads, "I'm the toughest girl I know." in a flowy cursive. It's tasteful, beautiful, and meaningful.

Or there is the national eating disorder recovery symbol:

The back of your neck, your hip bone, under your breast, your ankle, your foot, your lower back. I think that's about all of them.
