3d animation course to become a leading 3d animator?

creative

I have finished B.sc visual communication. I have also done a diploma in multimedia and graphics. I want to become a 3d animator, is this bachelor degree enough to attain great heights or should I pursue M.sc in animation?

Answer
Simple answer: no and yes. Getting a better education is a good starting point. If you are interested in becoming a 3d animator, you:

a) get an excellent understanding of how the body moves/works, anatomy and completely understand character animation principles.

b) practice, practice, practice. Hone your skills all the time. (Maya is standard in the industry, btw)

For a) you may be able to do it all by yourself, but this means a lot of endurance, persistence and self-discipline. You may want to think about doing a pro-level character animation course, even AFTER finishing an Masters in animation, such as animationmentor.com and gnomon.

Landing a job all comes down to your demo reel. That is it, for the most part. You may have several degrees tattooed on your forehead, but if the autodidactic guy/girl has a better demo reel, you are toast. Getting into this industry is H.A.R.D. But persistence pays off, as always. And some animation schools have good ties within the industry (such as animationmentor, vfs, ...) which helps getting contacts.

TATTOO DESIGN HELP! 10 points best answer!!!!?

ibrene2

I am a petite girl and I am looking to get a tattoo on my hip. I know that i want hearts gradually getting bigger as they go up. I want no more than three and I want it to be flowy, dainty, & girly. I don't want anything too big because I am a tiny girl in size. If anyone can design one for me it would help out ALOTTTT! thanks :)

Answer
You'd be better off going to the tattoo artist who is going to do it. They are professionals and part of their job is to design the tattoos; so they have experience are good with translating ideas onto paper and they know what will look best depending on where you get it. Some spots of your body don't look good with flat designs so you need more of a 3D kind of design or something with motion.
