How badly do chest tattoos sag on women?

Molly

i want to get a tattoo on my chest, above my breasts and below my collar bones, but im worried about sagging later on.

Answer
Hey, depends on your size and how genetically predisposed towards sagging you are, but it's extremely likely to end up looking stretched out, and aside from that it's also an extraordinarily ugly place for a woman to get a tattoo - it's also a place very difficult to cover up convincingly should the need arise, unless you want to spend your professional life in high necked tops. Honestly, I'm not saying this to p*** you off but unless you're a seriously hard core tattoo chick, please think again - to the non-hard core tattoo population tattooed breasts (or just above them) really, really looks appalling... stretched out or not.

What is your opinion about chest tattoos on women?

Answer
i think some chest tattoos look pretty on some women. Depending on what it is and the design. I have a beautiful tattoo that symbolizes my native american side as well as my children on my chest, and it is too late for regrets. I get looks from people that like it and some that just get intimidated. Never the less, people will always pass judgment on others when it isn't their place to do so. That is why it is called Art!

Most painful tattoo spots?

What are the top 3 most painful spots to get inked at? 1 being the worst

Answer
Here are the top 5 worst places to get a tattoo!

1. The eyeball. Believe it or not, some people do get permanent makeup inside the eye, says Zwerling About once a year, a patient asks him to put pigment into a disfiguring blind eye to make it look like a normal one. The many nerves going into the front of the eye would make this an excruciating procedure without anesthesia. (Two other popular spots for permanent makeupâthe eye brows and lipsâare also painful, the lips especially so because of the many nerve endings located there.)

2. The mons pubis. The pain of getting a tattoo down under runs a close second to the lips, says New York laser surgeon Bruce Katz, who specializes in removing tattoos. There are a lot of nerves, which provide pleasure (as opposed to pain) under different circumstances. If you try this in a tattoo parlor, ask for a cream, advises Katz.

3. The top of the foot or ankle. Lots of women opt for tattoos in this area so the eye-catching designs will be visible when they're barefoot or wearing sandals during the summer months. But it's also ouch-inducing because of the absence of fat.

4. Behind the ear. A tattoo here can be endearingly sexy. Just remember ladies, there's nothing in this spot but skin and boneâand nerves (though not as many as on your lip surface).

Hope this answers your questions!

5. The chest (above your rib cage). If you're thin, this might be one time you'd be grateful for a layer of fat around your middle. The absence of padding makes this one of the most painful places for men to get a traditional tattoo.

**Women/Tattoo artists please answer** Wing tattoos on guys ok?

Sam

I'd like to get some wings on my back (from top of shoulders to small of back) and they will be in a tribal way

I am 5'6'' with a muscular build. I wouldn't be getting this until maybe next year because I go to Marines basic training on Nov. So I have some time to think about it. I would get them so they match my bodies "V" shape, but I still wonder to go with this type of look or with actual feathers. I want them big because that's just what I've always wanted to do. What do you all think? Would it even be a good idea? I don't want them small because they look too "feminine". Any ideas? opinions? Is the tribal look too played out?

Answer
I am a woman and a tattoo artist. I wings are awesome tattoos! my suggestion would be not to go tribal, but to go with feathers or something more custom that the tribal. Your artist can help you draw it up. I generally say avoid tribals becuase they are less unique, that is just a personal opinion. yesterday I tattooed some sick yellow wings on a guys back and they look amazing! Its all about how you do it, the feathers can be feminine but they can be made masculine. you can make wings out of a number of things, bullets instead of feathers is also something i have done. Have your artist help you customize them!
