i personally think that not so feminine tattoos are hot on women, and all the guys ive dated would def. agree.

most of the guys ive dated or been interested in, ive met because they noticed my tattoos and were intrigued, which is not very common for pretty young girls to be very heavily tattooed. [i mean, two sleeves, full chest piece, feet, ribs, one calf, piece on the neck behind the ear.. pretty heavy]

i mean, you'll never be able to get EVERYONE you ask to agree that theyre hot or not, but from my experience and from people i know, heavy tattoos or not feminine tattoos on women are extremely hot.



at the same time, i do get weird looks, or ive had an old woman say to me "those are for ugly girls" or things like that. i do have people ask "why such a pretty young girl would do that to herself", so yes, there will always be haters. but get a tattoo for yourself, not for the rest of society!!

tattoos are also starting to be a lot more socially acceptable these days-- almost everyone, even a community's most-respected people, are getting tatted up now!

A piece like that for the most part will not be bad at all. But generally when getting up on your shoulder closer to your neck the pain greatly intensifies. Closer to your should the less amount of pain.

Best advise is to not worry about the pain. It is all tolerable. Just decide on your tattoo and where you think it will best fit.

Why do people act like we spend so much time and money, risk our health and lives, just to get a sex change for kicks? Getting a sex change isn't like getting a tattoo or piercing. Its a medical treatment to a birth condition that causes emotional distress and dysphoria.

People fear what they don't understand. As a result some like Snotalie like to ridicule us for that reason.... they fear us. It should be noted that Snotalie has another problem of their own, they claim to be an "ex-gay". So not only does this person deny themselves, they also deny other peoples identities. Quite sad really. But people like that are fast becoming dinosaurs---->extinct. Because they can't stop progress. We've come so far in the last 20 years and I think the next 20 will be a very exciting time for us. Just a week ago we had another milestone:

I put playboy bunnies permanently on each arm and love that I can turn any tanktop into a Playboy shirt. Several times girls have made fun of them, making rude comments like you got in this question.

For girly girls, ankles, hips, and behind the ear are probably the best places. anyone can see them but they are still very easy to cover up if you aren't feeling comfortable, want to be professional, of it just doesn't fit with what your wearing.
flowers, hearts, cupcakes, stars, (and hello kitty! haha) are a few of the first things that come to mind when i hear girly tattoo.

i wouldn't recomend anything really big and nothing on the arms, chest/neck, shoulder blades, or tops of toes.

What does it represent when a woman has a tattoo on her ankle?

I've known two people with this. First was my sixth grade teacher, she had a butterfly tattooed there. Then it was my therapist. I recently saw hers, couldn't see what it was clearly. An answer from an old question said that it meant that they were a lesbian. Is that true? Or is it because they work in respectable places so they can't show tattoos anywhere else but the ankle?

It doesn't mean anything other than they like tattoos. I have one on my ankle and 5 other ones in places ranging from my hips, neck, and arm. None of them can be seen unless I want them to be seen.

I never thought tattoos made a woman look easy. I mean, I know she probably doesn't look like a sweet little princess anymore, but doesn't it depend on what the tattoo is of? If it literally says <whore> or <bitch> or the playboy symbol thingy, then I can understand.

I was just getting annoyed with this because I have three tattoos, and would NEVER be labelled as easy.

I hear ya. I have one that is of a teddy bear laying on its stomach on top of five blocks that spell out my daughter's name. How much "whore" can you get? lol

I could care less what others think of my tattoo, body, image, or whatever else. I was not put on this earth for a popularity contest, so why should I care what others think? I never have and never will. And do I care what guys like? No, because you know what... I am happily married and we've been together for over 12 years, so it's not like I got a tattoo to attract guys. Next time, don't be so quick to judge.

Here are some that shouldn't be too hard to make. I think I'll wear one of these costumes next year. I hope these help.


Angelina Jolie

Wear pleather pants or tight black jeans, with a tight white sleeveless shirt. A push-up bra is a must. Bonus points if you can find/make a shirt or purse that says "Mrs. Pitt".
Decorate your arms by drawing on tattoos with washable marker, to imitate Angie's. Or make a tattoo that says "Billy Bob", cross it out, and write "Brad Pitt" underneath it.
Carry plastic baby dolls in various ethnicities, Stash them everywhere on your person - sticking out of your purse, on a sling across your chest, etc.
If your hair is short, wear a long black wig.
Plump up your lips in an exaggerated way by outlining them outside their natural lines, and filling in with beige lipstick.


Backstabbed Beauty Queen

Wear a pretty pageant dress - if you don't have something fancy, check thrift stores or the Salvation Army shop.
Get a plastic crown/tiara.
Make a sash from wide ribbon that says "Miss America" or whatever you want.
Use black and purple makeup to give yourself a black eye.
Fake blood can be dabbed around your nostrils to suggest a bloody nose.
Take a hollow plastic knife (from a costume shop or toy store), cut the end to spread the knife-point out, and tape it to a piece of stiff cardboard. Then tape the cardboard to your body so that the knife handle is sticking out of the dress (safety pin around the zipper, or if it's a cheapo thrift-shop dress, you could cut a hole in it).

Get a hospital gown - ask for a freebie at your doctor's. These things are flimsy, so you'll need to wear something underneath it - a t-shirt and leggings or white pants are good.
Use black and purple makeup to give yourself two "black eyes".
Wrap the top of your head - from eyebrows up - in medical gauze (available at drugstores) and secure it with a safety pin.
Add some some fake blood spots to the gauze to simulate seeping head wounds.
Get a clear jar, put a small amount of water in the jar and add a big lobe of cauliflower.

Wear pink or white clothing, with small pink or white balloons attached.
Wear a matching bath cap.

Where should I place a small written tattoo on my arm?

I'm going to be getting "que sera sera" tattooed on my right arm, but I'd like some insight on placement. The phrase means a lot to me personally so that's for sure what I'm going with, just simple black script.

I know the skin is more elastic on the upper arm, not that I'm planning on gaining a bunch of weight lol but it's also easily hidden whereas the lower arm is more viewable to myself and the skin is less elastic.

Don't get it anywhere. Rethink your idea. Do not get a "pin up cutesy girl type tattoo". A pin up girl tattoo is degraded. It will give people the impression that you are not a wholesome, nice person.

As an actor in training and a theatre make-up artist I can tell you what a pain tattoos are to deal with. I spent 15-20 min daily covering a girl's tattoo on the back of her neck for a show and because we didn't spend tons of money on special tattoo covering cosmetics you could still see the black outlines and touches of the navy. It was also a pain to get the make-up off. It took forever and it was a few days before the color was right again. Proper tattoo covering cosmetic for theatre can cost hundreds of dollars and it takes skill and time to apply it, and for film it's nearly impossible to hide tattoos without prohibitively expensive SPX. They aren't going to do through that for a nameless person even if they just might be god's gift to acting in a few years.

Think of it this way, as an actor your body and skill are your product. And abnormalities limit your marketability so the best thing to do is leave your body as it was naturally formed. Meaning no tattoos.

I know you're all going to be like well don't get one if you're worried about the pain, but shut up. Seriously. It's something I badly want and WILL tolerate pain, I just would like the least amount possible. Me and my sister are getting small, matching tattoos because we are extremely close being only a year apart. I'm a very thin, short girl for my age and I don't have a lot of fat on me. Only my thighs and arms have fat. We were thinking about the waist. NOT hip and NOT ribs but the squishy part in between. And I did the pinch test and it was alright for pain. I just need some input on this because I haven't gotten one before. I've been able to tolerate the pain of several piercings, but I know tattoos are completely different.
We're getting SMALL tattoos so would that make the pain less and quick?
I'm just terrified of pain but I want this so bad because I care about my sister and she's been waiting for me to feel ready enough to get one. I'm totally fine with the idea of it being permanent, trust me. I have no problem with it. just PAIN. I probably sound like a wimp (which I am) but this is something I really want to do.

Any place on your body that is more fatty is usually less painful. Any place near bone is usually the worst. For example, I have thigh tattoos that were not very painful, and ankle and back tattoos that hurt like hell. But if you have a low pain tolerance, consider getting one tattoo that you really love, because there aren't a tone of areas associated with little pain.

Evolutionarily speaking, men usually prefer women that are younger because they are more fertile. Women usually prefer men that are in power, or can take care of them in one way or another. However, a lot of things have changed now that it's 2012. Maybe you're into girls like that because you weren't used to them growing up. I'm familiar with many upper-middle class individuals and they dress in a different way than that because they care what people think (reputations and whatever).

Keratin is the main protein that forms a hair strand. The result is the hair is wiped away with gentle friction. There are several chemicals based on the strength, color and coarseness of the hair. Before applying the cream, the skin type is also considered. Example from a VEET user: ."I used Veet to wax off my moustache which wasn't anything tragic,(STUPID ME) around 12 hours ago.....And for the first time I've got this reaaally bad skin irritation, I'm as red as a pepper for Gd's sake!" One girl put the cream on her nipples: "I just tried using nair for the first time and I tried putting it on my nipples because I am dumb and didnt read the directions. (and yes, I have hairy nipples. please dont make fun of me because it bothers me already). now my nipples are REALLY burning along with the rest of my skin." Figure this: It's a bony area where nerves are close to the surface and little fat. Mine hurt like hell (I have a grapevine all the way around) but the finished tat was worth every second of pain. I'd recommend taking a couple of Tylenol before your appointment to take the edge off.

I say don't get one at all...the ink in tattoos tend to bleed a lot easier and a lot faster on fingers than anywhere else. So whatever cute little design you get now will more than likely end up looking like a blob of ink a few years from now, or looking like you've been wearing fake jewelry. But I say on the side of your finger.

Because they are stupid. Personally, I wouldnt even want a "sexy" tattoo anyway- what the hell constitutes for a sexy tattoo?! A butterfly? How the f u c k is a butterfly sexy. I don't know. Who cares about sexy? I love the art in tattoos, and the stories behind them (although i feel aesthetics are a good enough reason to get a tattoo) and personally I cant even imagine what a sexy tattoo looks like lol. I love sleeves too, theres something about them thats just really...well, just great. I wouldnt get sleeves because they wouldn't suit me, but i cant see why a sleeve couldnt be as "sexy" as a small tattoo. Its all in the eye of the beholder. Some people talk utter boll o c ks to be precise, and those people should be ignored. -_-
