I want tattoos as well but then I think of going out to really nice restaurants or banquets or etc and I think of wanting to dress up and look really elegant and my tattoo ruining my look. I am unsure if I will get one or not..... who actually goes to that kind of stuff anyway you know. Go to any translation site and select English to Korean and you may be able to put in your girls' names and get the translations. If not there should be sites with hundreds of preselected names in English translated to Korean.

Ideas on where on my body to get a tattoo, and still look CLASSY?

i was thinking along the side of my foot. im a very elegant type of girl, when it comes to clothes and style. i want to do sumthing CRAZY. but still keep the innocent look. also idea on WHAT to get done. pictures would be great.

Im 18, i just got a tattoo on the right outside of my foot. Im also very elegant type girl. Wearing heels most of the time you can cover it up with a pair of show it off depends on the situation that you may face. i have Live Laugh Love, its not straight across curved a little to wrap almost to my toes. If I had a picture i would show you but its very hot. i love it. But make sure if you have something written on the foot its what you want it to say that means something to you, and the choosing of the font was the hardest. I combined two different fonts to make it what i like and i love it. alot of people say it hurts getting on the foot the outline hurts the most, because of lease needles but its tolerated. I would love to have another one put on my left foot. Why does it seem like all of the good looking girls in college do drugs or alcohol?

No, I'm not making a blanket statement, but I'm noticing a pattern.

Good looking girls in high school tend to:

-have tattoos
-dress promiscuously
-drink alcohol regularly
-uses drugs

As an ugly guy myself, I'm not in the same "league", so it is of no concern to me anyway. But it's still disturbing to see what they subject themselves to.

Why do good looking girls do this to themselves? Yes I know there are exceptions, but I'm starting to become convinced that exceptions are rare.

I think I'm okay looking and I don't do drugs, drink alcohol, dress promiscously....id like a tattoo though......I think it's because of the media's influence nowadays selling those things as beautiful. its what all the "beautiful girls" do. if you do it too, you'll become societies idea of attractive. The same thing for old cigarette commercials. If you smoke, you're refined and elegant. If you watch alcohol commercials or look at tumblr or other advertising for that kind of scene, it makes it almost look as if alcohol, drugs, and promiscuity is attractive. So people buy into it.

If you must...then use a classic font...Chancery Cursive is elegant without being frivolous...Love is only four letters, so you want the Uppercase L and the ending e to have style. Anything cutesy will bore you eventually. Best of luck to you.

So, I've always wanted a tattoo, but I want to do it when I'm 18 (16 now) and professionally.


I saw some pictures I thought they all look surprisingly classy and elegant. I thought of a few advantages such as they are harder to see (so good for work and parents won't flip out) and they seem to look pretty good.

So I was thinking of maybe a tribal design on my arm (girl btw), or my tribe on my wrist (I'm half white and half aboriginal. Cree and proud). But, I saw some other cool designs like bamboo on the leg and some elegant shoulder design.

It will be my first tattoo, so I wanna start off small. Also, how much would a small one cost? Like, on my wrist of something?

Any idea insight or anything would be much appreciated!!

White ink tattoos are ridiculous to me (no offense.) If you don't want anyone to SEE the tattoo, why are you getting tattooed?

My husband has been tattooing for fifteen years and hates doing them, for the simple fact that people can't actually see them, they have to get touched up numerous amounts of times, and with what the cost of a bottle of white ink is he has to hike up the price of the tattoo. So, okay.. you have your 'advantages', but think of the disadvantages as well. The sun will turn the white ink yellow - it does in just about everyone, and the artist will only cover the first touch up, not the five that follow. But anyways..

He had a customer about a week ago who got all of her kids astro signs tattooed on her wrist in white ink. (You said you wanted something small on your wrist). The tattoo total was only about three inches down the wrist, and she was charged $200.

Just remember when getting them done it will be hard to find an artist who wants to do them, and who will do them for a reasonable price.

I want to get my daughters name as a tattoo. I have been to numerous font sites but everything they have seems soooo bland. I want something beautiful for my beautiful little girl. I remember seeing a font on L.A. Ink that Kat freehanded but trying to find the episode alone is painstaking.
