The best idea I have to share with you is, do not disrespect your children by getting their names tattooed onto your body--or your husbands body. Have you asked their permission? Tattoos are ugly, hideous things and you are not "honoring" anyone by getting their name inked onto your body--you are actually disrespecting them. Would you "honor" them if you painted their names on the side of a building for all to see? No, that is called graffiti, It is offensive and makes an area look blighted. Why is is OK then to use their names for a tattoo on your body? If they are minors, wait until they are age 21 and can give legal consent. Tattoos are permanent. You can not take them back. There are so many questions on this board about how to remove unwanted tattoos. Pay attention to them. They are there for a reason: People do not want to keep their tattoos. One day, probably soon, you will wish you had never gotten your tattoo(s) and will start to ask how you can get rid of them. Be smart and do not put yourself in this position.

You will not be in a hospital or operating room, and there is a chance you will catch some vile blood-born disease like hepatitis or flesh eating bacteria. Your wound may become infected. The so-called "tattoo artist" may make a mistake and you will be stuck with the results. I strongly recommend you reconsider getting tattooed.
