Q. Ear piercings are really common and its not "unprofessional" to wear them. Pretty much 90% of all girls have their ears pierced and get them at a young age. What other piercings do you think will be this way? Belly Button piercings are very common and so are nose piercings, but what do you all think?

I think that all piercing will be accepted soon. Of course we sell body jewelry and hope thats so, but in the last couple of years we have had older -like over 60-women buying belly rings for themselves. Lots of parents come in and buy body jewelry for their kids. Usually cute stuff like care bears is alot more accepted than the goth suff.
When anybody says anything about how can I sell it (can't see my piercings) I tell them that it is not permenant like a tattoo, and you can always take it out or wear a retainer. They seem to accept it more then. labrets & eyebrow rings get more accepted every year and we are in a rural area not a big city.

I have thought about it and but I wouldn't want to defy the Lord's rules. Does anyone know? Because girls get ear piercings, wouldn't that mean they're all sinning?

Earrings and even nose rings are mentioned in the Bible:
When the camels had finished drinking, the man (Abraham's servant) took out a gold ring weighing half a shekel, which he fastened on her (Rebekah's) nose, and two gold bracelets weighing ten shekels, which he put on her wrists. (Genesis 24:22)
Aaron replied, "Have your wives and sons and daughters take off the golden earrings they are wearing, and bring them to me." (Exodus 32:2)
Both the men and the women, all as their heart prompted them, brought brooches, earrings, rings, necklaces and various other gold articles. Everyone who could presented an offering of gold to the LORD. (Exodus 35:22)
"So, to make atonement for ourselves before the LORD, each of us will bring as an offering to the LORD some gold article he has picked up, such as an anklet, a bracelet, a ring, an earring, or a necklace." (Numbers 31:50)

I can find no Catholic teaching against piercings.
However a point to ponder:
You are a masterpiece work of art, a bit of a self portrait, created in the image and likeness of the artist, God.
Would you go up to Leonardo Da Vinci's painting "The Last Supper" and try to "improve" it by adding your own touches here and there?
If you are a minor then there is a second issue. You do have to concern yourself with the Commandment to honor your father and mother which means that if they say no tattoo then you should honor them by not getting a tattoo.
