Funny. I don't usually like the stereotypes, but you've just described my experiences with every sign.

What do people think of girls, women having tattoos that are done in good taste, like artwork?

I'm 21 years old and have 3 tattoos...i got my first one when I turned 18 and am planning on getting another one soon. For those who are scared of needles I am too but it's a different kind of feeling it's not like getting a shot...i find it kind of relaxing actually. AND for the record my 84 year old Bible beating Southern Baptist grandmother doesn't have a problem with mine. She thought it was a little bit of a bad thing at first then i exlpianed it all to her and she warmed up to the idea. I have a rather large one on my lower back, a smaller one on my abdomine and a zodiac sign on my calf. The next one i am getting will be between my shoulder blades and is a drawing of an angel that has great meaning to me. It must be a southern thing but i haven't met a guy in the great state of Oklahoma that doesn't like a girl with a little artwork on her body. AND to sum all this up...IF IT'S WHAT YOU WANT, DO IT!!!! who gives a crap what society says....look at it like your body is a canvas...we all need to give it a little personalization.

I want a small tattoo of my zodiac sign...?

Q. but do not know where to get it. Again, it has to be a small tattoo, and something that is not visible all the time. Although I like the idea of getting a tat on my wrist or ankle. And, I do not want a back tattoo/tramp stamp. This will be my first and ONLY tattoo. I always went back and forth on getting a tattoo, and feared regretting the tattoo after getting one. But, if it's something that means something to me, I don't think I'd get sick of it...

Anyway, sorry for rambling. Any suggestions on what part of the body for a woman to get a small tattoo on??? And do you think tattoos on women are trashy?

Answer
I love the idea.
I was originally going to get my zodiac sign tattooed on me, but instead I got a half moon because I like my moon sign better than my sun sign. It meant more to me :) Always get something that really means something to you. It sounds like it does so I say go for it :)

I am looking for a tattoo design that incorporates scorpio and libra zodiac signs together. any ideas?

I am a Scorpio woman engaged to a Libra man. Crazy, yes i know. Anyhoo, I am desperatly looking for a bad a** tattoo design that can morph the 2 signs together. I like the traditional "M" shape (if you will) of scorpio and the line with the arc shape on top for libra ( i'd settle for the scales also). Any ideas for a sweet design?

Answer
Although I don't typically encourage couple tattoos, my thought would be to place the middle shaft of the Scorpio symbol, through the hole in the Libra symbol. When you have it done, ask the artist to make the middle shaft appear to be behind the hole at the top of the hole in Libra, then in front of the bottom line. The outside shafts of the Scorpio symbols would be opposite of the middle, the left and right shafts covering the top line and going behind the bottom. Sounds complicated, but your artist will be able to visualize it. I would do the Scorpio in your favorite color, and the Libra in his. Or you could do the Scorpio in Pink, a nice dark pink, and the Libra in blue. I know, kind of cheesy, blue for boy pink for girl, but it would contrast nicely.

Would it be tacky for a female to get a scorpion on the nape of the neck?

zodiac sign tattoos for women on Tattoos for Couples
zodiac sign tattoos for women image

noone

I want to get my zodiac sign on the back of my neck like my sis (Aries). I'm a Scorpio, but would a scorpion on a woman be tacky? What kind of qualities could the image have (or shouldn't have) to make it not tacky? I.e. one quality I'm thinking about un-tackifying it is soft colors.
I want all my tattoos to be NOTICEABLE! =D Like, Check this out!

Answer
The biggest question is WHAT DO YOU THINK?. You will always get mixed opinions on this subject. Some people think that Tattoos are tacky full stop, other don't. I personally don't have any, but I don't mind them on anyone else. Its just my choice.
Having it on the the nape of your neck would obviously be for other peoples benefit as you will not see it, only in a mirror. Just be mindful for the future, ie any jobs you might be interested in, employers are very focused on image and what examples their employees set, so a simple Tattoo could affect your future if see in an obvious place.
But the bottom line is - Its your decision.
