I mean, yeah, I've heard that your body is a temple, but yeah, so how come pretty much all of the women have earrings, some even dress in 'revealing' clothing, or anything like that? Not being sexist, but when a girl gets an earring, its okay, but as soon as a guy does, it's a sin against the world? Just something i noticed.
I am christian, and I see nothing wrong with it, and besides, it's proven that men were pierced before woman.

I'm really curious what Christians you've been around. I'm Christian. I have many Christian friends and I do not even know what you are talking about. I have 1/2 inch ear plugs and full sleeve tattoos. I've never had anyone "judge" me. I think perhaps you've been exposed to a few bad apples.

EDIT: If people would read the entire thought on your body being the "temple of the Holy Spirit" then they would understand that Paul was talking about sexual purity and not joining with a prostitute......at least that is my understanding.

I've had more than a few fundamentalists accost me in the past. One had the nerve to attempt to belittle me for having a tattoo, and then tried to flirt with the girl I was with.

They get very angry when I fight back with knowledge, and reason. They can only respond with "that's blasphemy".

What is the proper thing to do when someone questions my "faith"?

If you aren't a Jehovah's Witness, or whatever sky bunny religion these fundamentalists are, your lost.

What I like to say just to get a rise off them or just to see the look on their face is this, "I don't want to listen to any of your religious vomit!"...
