Are all tattoos on girls slutty?

Bianca

I have mixed feelings about tattoos.. I have thought about getting one that is a dove, it would be small and I don't know where I would put it. I don't want it to be visible with clothes on because I don't want it to show at work. So two questions... 1. Are all tattoos slutty? And 2. If I choose to get this dove tattoo where should I get it?

Thank you!

Answer
Tattoos don't define who you are, I think they are a way of expressing your self. I have some tattoos and have been faith full to my boy friend for several years, even thinking about getting engaged. You don't have to have tattoos that are visible, you can keep them to your self and show them when you want to.
1. NO not all tattoos are slutty and they don't make you slutty either.
2. If you don't want it visible then think about your regular clothing, your work clothes and what will keep your tattoo covered. A good place to get a tattoo would be your shoulder or the hip area, you can show it and hide it when you need to and it's not too pain full to get one there.

Hmmmm. one worded tattoos.?

So why are people of the christian faith against piercings?

Love me, I

I mean, yeah, I've heard that your body is a temple, but yeah, so how come pretty much all of the women have earrings, some even dress in 'revealing' clothing, or anything like that? Not being sexist, but when a girl gets an earring, its okay, but as soon as a guy does, it's a sin against the world? Just something i noticed.
I am christian, and I see nothing wrong with it, and besides, it's proven that men were pierced before woman.

Answer
I'm really curious what Christians you've been around. I'm Christian. I have many Christian friends and I do not even know what you are talking about. I have 1/2 inch ear plugs and full sleeve tattoos. I've never had anyone "judge" me. I think perhaps you've been exposed to a few bad apples.

EDIT: If people would read the entire thought on your body being the "temple of the Holy Spirit" then they would understand that Paul was talking about sexual purity and not joining with a prostitute......at least that is my understanding.

How do I respond when a fundamentalist accosts me at a bus stop?

ghost

I've had more than a few fundamentalists accost me in the past. One had the nerve to attempt to belittle me for having a tattoo, and then tried to flirt with the girl I was with.

They get very angry when I fight back with knowledge, and reason. They can only respond with "that's blasphemy".

What is the proper thing to do when someone questions my "faith"?

If you aren't a Jehovah's Witness, or whatever sky bunny religion these fundamentalists are, your lost.

Answer
What I like to say just to get a rise off them or just to see the look on their face is this, "I don't want to listen to any of your religious vomit!"...

It works like a charm...

My best friends asks me for some quotes. I don't care about tats are permanent blah blah blah.

How do I convince my parents to let me get a tattoo?

Billy

So, I'm almost fifteen, and I really want to get a tattoo, but I don't want to wait until I'm 18. My parents are pretty against the whole idea of putting anything permanent on your body, and they say it will make it really hard to get a job when I get older, but personally, I don't care. By the time I'm old enough to get a job where it might matter, it won't matter anymore ( not that I'd want that kind of job anyways). They seem to think that I only want to get it so I look "cool" or " rebellious" or to get girls to like me more, but that's no the reason at all. I either want to get the words 'forever faithful' on my right hip, where I used to hurt myself, to remind myself that no matter how bad the moment seems, or how hopeless I feel, I can have faith that something or someone will come along and make me feel better, or the Trinity Knot over my heart with the three tips representing love, joy, and hope, and the center representing my spirit/soul, to remind me that those three things are always within reach and that I need to keep those ideas close to me no matter what anyone or anything does to me or how I feel at any given moment. I don't want to get it to look 'cool', I want to get it to keep me from forgetting the most crucial concepts to my happiness and to prevent me form relapsing to self harm even when I'm feeling my worst. I don't want to get anything too big or extravagant yet, maybe when I'm older, but how do i convince my parents to let me get it? I would be willing to pay for the whole thing and all that, but I don't want to wait another three years.

Answer
I don't know why everyone is such a negative nancy about tattoos. I think you have a really good tattoo idea and it isn't something that's going to "go out of style" or whatever everyone says.

My parents were the same way though, I just had to wait till I was 18.
By the way, I didn't change my mind like everyone thought I would. I got an anchor.

I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you to change your parents minds! :/

It was well worth the wait. Good luck :)
