Q. Why are lower back tattoos called tramp stamps? My friend has a tattoo of her favorite band's logo on her lower back and she's been called a sl*t. If that tattoo had been on her shoulder or her arm or something, would that still make her a tramp? I don't understand how people can call women whores and sluts and tramps because of the placement of a tattoo.

So if your friend want's to make a statement that she's the Virgin Mary with a tramp stamp, good for her. She should just understand that most people will take a woman who shows off a tattoo which draws the eyes to her backside as promiscuous. Especially if she wears clothing that shows off said tattoo on a regular basis.

As a Texan I'm appalled at this. Although I understand Craigslist whores are considered property to their pimps. She misled and cheated her intended John. That's no reason to kill her. Even if she did technically steal from him. The man took a woman's life for the slimmest of reasons., She didn't wet his willy? Good grief, what are we coming to in Texas? He basically got away with it because it became a He said--she said. And she was already disadvantaged by being both a paid whore AND dead.
I think I would have shot her "driver." Before I hurt her for "taking advantage" of me. You can't blame the women who lead this kind of live an awful lot for it. Legalization would solve much with problems like this. Driving out the pimp and street/craigslist factor.
I know a little about these craigslist whore things. Once saw a woman who was dressed kinda naughty in public. Of COURSE I'm going to look.at a woman so easy on the eyes. My Hispanic friend took me aside and explained about the tattoo's and what they meant----I about choked. gagged and was instantly turned off. Yewwwwwww.....nasty! Seems they are quite prolific in D/FW and surrounding areas. Far more than I ever thought possible. Our law enforcement claim they have prostitution under control.
