Answer
There are many pros in that as women get older, they lose eyebrow hair and it becomes increasingly difficult to get them on evenly each day. Also, they tend to rub off at the most inopportune times.

It is essential one finds a professional with a lot of experience and does eyebrow tattooing in a style consistent with her needs. The environment should be clean and safe. Tattoos and nail salons don't mix, for instance. Be sure to view examples of healed work to see the end results and make sure the artist explains things well and will work with a design everyone is happy with. A natural look with a classic shape is always the best idea and never have too sharp of an arch or tails that hang low. The start or front of the brow should be about the same level as the tip of the tail.

A knowledgeable artist will never use black ink in an eyebrow area that gets so much sun exposure. If her skin is very dark, a very dark brown would be used. There are inks/pigments specially formulated for this work. Expect touch ups every couple to few years. This is good because as she ages, the color can be easily modified.

Edit notes - They don't look fake at all if done correctly and also if done correctly they do not fade after a couple of months. The problem is there are too many who only train for a few days doing this work which is why it is important NOT to support them, but to patronize the true professionals in the industry. Those who claim "semi-permanent" work are a pock on the industry. A design should always be chosen with the idea that the face changes over time - after doing these for nearly twenty years on people of all ages, I see the changes and there is little to no ill effects with sagging features when done skillfully.

What tattoo should i get for my first, and where?

Don't listen to the people that say "guys
don't like tattoo's" - It's not like women are just put on the earth to please men. If you want a tattoo, get one.

This is coming from my own experiences and personal taste, so don't take too much offense to it. I wouldn't get a rainbow with butterflies all around it on your lower back. It's tacky and you'll look like an idiot when you're 45. Get a tattoo that means something to you. I draw my own tattoos then my artist tweaks them a bit to fit better, etc. For instance, depending on why you're getting a tattoo, you could get something like a rose (which are pretty tacky also, but they're okay if done correctly) with each petal representing an important person in your life. If you're getting it for a boyfriend or whatever, I, and I think alot of people can back me up on this, don't reccomend it. What happens when you break up? If you really HAVE to, then I'd get something that represents your relationship. Every responsible, smart person who gets a tattoo knows that even though things change, your tattoo represents an important time in your life.
