what do you think about ankle band tattoos on women?

Q. I know that anklets are out of style and all, but I still think some tribal design bands would look good on a girls ankle. What do you think?

Here are some examples of what I'm talking about: http://flickriver.com/photos/wickedqueen/127359526/

Answer
I personally, don't really like one.
They look kind of manly in my opinion.
But everybody like different thing. :)
Hope I helped! :)

Tattoo Question?

Q. I have a small tattoo between my shoulder blades (one I designed myself) and I'm tempted to get another, preferably in a place that can be covered up like the one I've got.
My question is, are there particular places on the body where a tattoo makes a woman look trashy or slutty?
Please give suggestions of where I could get another if I decide to.

Answer
People who hate tattoo have come up with the "tramp stamp" name and it angers me that those who love and wear tattoos even acknowledge that term.

If you feel compelled to worry about how you will appear or be thought of based on where you have a tattoo, possibly another tattoo is not right for you.

It is not about the art, either. I have seen gorgeous florals, fabulously balanced and artistic celtic and tribal work on many women who choose this location, none of whom are "tramps." Yet given these same beautiful tattoos on women who are perceived as "tramps" - it creates a different picture no matter where the tattoo is.

Lower back tattooing is one of the most popular spots for women because they don't have to worry about it stretching out like abdominal tattoo if/when they decide to get pregnant. Careful planning is done by these women.

Also, when choosing a lower back tattoo...be sure there is some space along the spine. Some crazy anesthesiologists still think a woman cannot have epidural anesthesia because ink can be pushed in with the needle into the spinal canal. Whatever. No one has proven this to actually be a problem, but just be sure there is space here and there to "move the skin" so they will have a virgin area to puncture so they don't freak.

Location of the tattoo is most often dictated by the design. Some tattoos just don't look good on the lower back and would look much better on the back of the shoulder, for instance, or as an ankle piece.

I am personally not in favor of foot/toe tattooing because of sun exposure creating excessive damage to the tattoo. There are some exceptions a competent artist would be able to discuss with you.
