I've seen actors and actresses with tattoos before. I mean they can cover it right? And do they only cover with clothing or can they edit out?

As an actor in training and a theatre make-up artist I can tell you what a pain tattoos are to deal with. I spent 15-20 min daily covering a girl's tattoo on the back of her neck for a show and because we didn't spend tons of money on special tattoo covering cosmetics you could still see the black outlines and touches of the navy. It was also a pain to get the make-up off. It took forever and it was a few days before the color was right again. Proper tattoo covering cosmetic for theatre can cost hundreds of dollars and it takes skill and time to apply it, and for film it's nearly impossible to hide tattoos without prohibitively expensive SPX. They aren't going to do through that for a nameless person even if they just might be god's gift to acting in a few years.
Think of it this way, as an actor your body and skill are your product. And abnormalities limit your marketability so the best thing to do is leave your body as it was naturally formed. Meaning no tattoos.

Where is the best place for a female to get a tattoo?

I have NO tattoos at the moment, but I have always wanted one. My fiance has 3 on his upper arm, but he mad a valid point that guys can hide a tattoo when they need to. Girls have a harder time having a tattoo in a place that wont look trashy when wearing a dress or something fancy.
I would love an image OR test ... Suggestions?
