I mean I just wondered
where did the stereotype of lower back tattoos being slutty begin?
In the mind what makes guys and girls think of them as "tramp stamps"

The stared part is the main reason I consider them "Slutty." They look like an advertisement to me personally. Though I have seen some very nice looking one it still looks like the woman in question is simply trying to draw attention to that area.
To each their own though.

what do you think about an architect or a doctor having a tattoo ?

me and my friend want to get a tattoo and
i'm studying degree in architecture course and she is taking medical course ...
but i already got my first tattoo on my leg and i wann have the second on my arm and she also want it in her arm but we are scare to effect our future job ...
please any advice ????

I'm a psychologist, 28, and have been wrestling with this same issue. I've had this idea for one for years, but put it off because I wasn't sure until recently. Now that I'm decided that I'm going to do it, I'm leaning towards my back, probably down my spine (it's going to be "Anger Endurance Honor Love" in Japanese Kanji). Even though my employer is pretty easy going, I don't know where I'm going to end up in 10 or 20 years, and for me (and this might apply to the doctor as well) there are issues of client (or patient) confidence and respect as how they perceive a tattoo.
I think of myself as a pretty well put together guy, I like to dress well and look presentable. For me, I wouldn't want to get anything done that would be seen normally at work, but that is it. Although, it's probably a lot easier for a guy to get away with it given that women's fashion usually covers less.
