Do they hurt?How much do they cost?What should I get done?I want something earthy, fresh, happy and indie-ish.

It depends on what you are getting really. I mean, it would depend on size and color. As far as the pain, its pretty intense on the foot, esp for a woman. I have one and I have many, and this one was really hard to get through. It was 2 hours and $200. I do know almost al shop minimums are going to be $50, and unless you are getting something tiny and not detailed, then you are looking to spend not less than $100! As far as to goober who said not to get it because it will stretch when you gain weight.....I don't recall you ever asking her opinion about that, nor is it true, esp for a foot!!!!
on a scale of 1-10 I would put it at a 7 almost and 8 in pain.
If you want something that covers the top mound of your foot, Look to spend a couple hundred, Tattoo artists dont work for free, nor do they charge extra to do a foot.
