Why don't women like Country music?

I like Country music, always have and always will. I see so many times on TV where women are attracted to "Country Boys" and love to listen to Country music; but that is TV only I guess. In the real world I have found that women HATE Country music. Why is that?

What do these women look like? Are the all covered with tattoos and body piercings? If so, it's them, not you. Now if the girls look 'country,' are you mistaking 'country' with 'redneck?' Also, are the women you refer to all 'dolled up' without having a single hair out of place and act as if the end of the world is coming if they, heaven forbid, get a little dirt on them or break a nail? Here's what I have observed. Tatted women, though personally may be nice, have a low self esteem and usually like that head banging stuff. Country women are sweet while redneck women are trash. The dolled up gals are so into themselves that they can't see past their own mirror; forget them.

Personally, I wouldn't give a rat's ass what women liked or disliked in music. Draw a happy medium and if she isn't willing to go with this, forget her, she's not worth it. Trust me, country music comes from the hear and is truly American. Be proud you like it. //#

The main line of the music is piano. It shows a story of a man and a woman in love and they take a trip to the carnival. The woman ends up cheating on the man with the circus clown so he kills himself. After he's crumpled on the pavement a large old man pulls his heart out with his cane. Throughout the entire video the old man is tattooing the events that led to the man's death on his heart.

Are the young people more rotten and fowl than ever before?

Tattoos, tongue rings, fowl music, talk like gutter mouths ect. I don't think there's ever been a time in history the youth have been so contaminated.

I propose the notion that it is strictly the job of the young and young adults to remind the old how they used to be.

It might not have been with body art, but in generations past the youth were seen as rotten and fowl because of their appearances, either because of the Hippie movement, the militant Black Panthers, or even things like women wearing short dresses and pants.

There's always fowl music in the culture, and it does tend to attract the angry and the young. Look at The Anti-Nowhere Leagues "So What", at Judas Priests "Better by you, better than me" or the "dirty sixteen" that Congress invesitgated in the 1980's.

It's just as bad as it ever was, it's just different.

What restaurant has more of a Christian atmosphere?

Apple Bee's, T.G.I.F's, Olive Garden or Red Lobster.

I am taking my Bible study group to one of those restaurants listed next Wednesday, and I want to minimize the chance that anything satanic or atheistic happens when we are enjoying our fellowship. I also want to avoid being served by young men with earrings or anyone with tattoos or young women showing their inappropriate cleavage. Please tell me which establishment is the most appropriate for good Christian folks.

Wow, 'inappropriate' and 'cleavage'...there's two words you don't see jamed up beside each other often.

I don't know anything about those food places, as none of them have crossed the Pacific, but I'd call ahead and make soome explicit requests of the management, namely:

All staff must be clad in hairshirts and remove all piercings (women included) lest they be though to be adherents of the practices of Ba'al;

All food must be prepared in strict accordance with the OT;

All toilets to be roped off, and earth laid in the back of the restaurant for 'correct' and 'godly' disposal of waste;

All music on the Tannoy, PA or jukebox must be either choral...or Evie Tornquist.

That's a good start.

Do small tattoos look unprofessional in the business world?

I'm thinking of getting a small music staff or something like that on the inside of my wrist to symbolize my love for music. Does this seem unprofessional to future employers? It's gunna be a small black treble clef, what do you think?

Yes, many employers frown on visible tattoos and that is just life. Loving music and loving tattoos is a wonderful thing but having one on your wrist isn't practical for most people. Ask yourself this: Why is it SO important that you flash a tiny and probably crummy looking tattoo to the entire world? Keep in mind the skin on your wrist doesn't age well so a tattoo in this spot won't either.

My advice is to get your ink in another location. Unless you have a solid career and make good money a hand, neck or face tattoo isn't cool. It will make you look unprofessional and it will make you look like a wannabe. Personally, I don't think the hands are an attractive place to get inked. The ink ends up fading and by that point it has probably caused the person too many problems in life to even be worth it.

I have almost my whole body tattooed. I made the decision a long time ago that I would never get anything on my hands neck or face. For my job it isn't practical. I also got my ink for me and I don't have to flash it to the whole world 24/7 in order to prove something.

I know it is really fashionable now for people to get tiny hand, wrist, neck and face tattoos. If people want to do that, it is their choice and I respect that. Personally though, I don't find it sexy. I would rather date a woman with a full sleeve that can be covered with clothing rather than some little, blotchy, faded hand or wrist tattoo. A nice sleeve or a nice back piece looks cool and you can choose who sees it and who doesn't...Tiny hand and wrist tattoos WILL make you look unprofessional and for the rest of your life everyone will be able to see it. Why do this to yourself?
