Do guys like tattoos on women?

edwardluve

I have "never alone" in black cursive on my left rib, underneath my breast. It means that once you accept Jesus into your heart he is always there and you will never truly be alone.

I was just wondering what men thought of tattoos on women. I love mine because of how personal it is, but is it a turn off or turn on?

Answer
I love tattoos. The more the better. Especially if they have meaning

But every guy is different. Some hate them some don't

Teardrop tattoos meaning?

Rainbows a

I know a woman who has a teardrop tattooed below her eye. It is blue in color and is not filled in but just outlined. Is she just a want to be gangsta or a murderer?

Answer
Tear drop tattoos have many connotations.

For instant a tear drop tattoo that is just an outline can represent that a loved one has been killed. Sometimes it also means that the bearer was unsuccessful in an attempt at murder.

A filled in tear drop generally means a loved one was killed by other means than murder or a loved one has committed suicide.

A tear drop tear with an empty top and a full bottom means the that the bearer successfully avenged the murder of a loved one.

A tear drop can also be a tribute to a loved one died while the wearer was in jail.

However if the tattoo she bears was given to her in prison it generally she has murdered someone. Whether it be in or out of jail.

Women with tattoos?

Females with lots of tattoos: Who are they as an expression? Give me some samples of what a tattoo expresses about one self and why would a female need to express who they are with tattoos? I am trying to not be judgemental.

Answer
KAT VON D from LA ink has a tattoo of her mother, her favorite composer Beethoven i believe, they are portraits- she also has a huge hollywood name tattoed on her for her love of hollywood- so as far as i am concerned it is an expression of who she is- many have tattoos of things they like/words that have symbolic meaning in their life- quotes are tattooed on many- so are flowers which symbolize growth- tattoos arent just about marking your body- but marking your body with things you love/things that remind you of good times in your life/good people in your life-

a person with a lot of tattoos likes artwork-
doesnt mean he/she is ugly or rude or slutty or crazy-
many celebrities have tattoos-
even some people in corporate america-
long time ago prostitutes and sailors had tattoos-
now many of all walks of life get them-
they are expensive too many can't afford a lot-
watch LA INK with Kat von D- she isnt slutty or nasty, she is smart, fun, and enthusiastic- so not all low lives have tattoos-

Tattoos...?

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo but I don't exactly know anybody who has one so I was wondering if anyone here could tell me about theirs. Like has anyone you met ever asked you about it (I want to be a teacher so I don't want it to interfere with me getting a job)? Do you now wish you hadn't gotten one? Would you get another? Did you have any health risks? Do you want it removed? Do some find it... immature? Are they easily viewed depending on where you have it?
What's your tattoo of? Did it take long and how long? How much did it cost? How big was/is it? Black and white or colors? Does it hurt more depending on where you got it? Do certain places pose greater health risks? How old were you? Did anyone try to talk you out of it? Did it look like you wanted it to? Pretend I know nothing, about tattoos I mean, which is pretty much the case. Tell me about it. Is there a story behind it?

Answer
True story: I always wanted a tattoo. Not a million plastered all over my body, just one awesome tattoo. I was debating over the art and graphics and finally decided on a sun around my belly button. (I was 20 years old).

While I was in the chair, waiting for the guy to set up, I had doubts...I mean, I was going to be a third grade teacher after all (our stories are alike) and the same exact "what if's" that you are worried about right now were scurrying about my brain, so I sadly packed up and left...without my tattoo.

I left still wanting one...I just didn't trust myself that in my 20 year-old moment, what I wanted that day would be longlasting. To make it easier for me to deal with not getting it at that split second, I made a deal with myself. If I still wanted one at 30, I would proceed.

Well, today I am 32 and I just got my first (and last) tattoo! After four children, I am SO HAPPY that I did NOT get the original tattoo around my belly button because Lord knows I have no reason to show that off anymore, BUT I did get a tattoo that I will love forever...

My kids' names on the small of my back in Japanese. I am part Japanese so I wrote it out myself to ensure they got it right. All black except red hearts that separate each name. Time? 20-30 minutes. Cost $100.

There are risks, but if you go to nice clean place, it is fine. I pasted a link below to research things you need to look for when choosing a parlor.

I do not regret it at all.

SO, my answer (sorry so long-winded), once you are SURE what you want, go for it and don't be afraid to wait for minute or two...your tastes will change and evolve as no doubt you will as a young woman. Maybe you too can set a date for a tattoo when your flirty and thirty! :) Good luck!

What are some general turn ons and turn offs men find in women?

Hello everyone. I'm the editor/co-writer for my company's newspaper and a dating article was requested to be submitted for the next issue. I would like to know what most men find attractive/sexy in women or what they would like their women to have. It would also be nice if you post what you wouldn't want your woman to have or do. Thanks!

Answer
That differs from person to person.

For me, inner beauty and confidence are a turn on. How can I love her if she's not able to love herself? I don't mean someone who can spend money like a drunken sailor for clothing, accessories and makeup, but someone who is happy in her own skin. It's hard to love someone who's insecure and needs constant reassuring about her looks, my affections and her loveability quotient.

My personal turnoffs:

Heavy makeup or cologne.
Women who expect me to spoil them like their Daddy did.
Long fake nails or nails that prevent a woman from doing anything with her hands for fear of ruining her precious French manicure.
Helplessness / childish behavior. (please, let's be adults here)
Excesssive tattoos or piercings.

What do girls think of guys that have tattoos?

Billy

I'm an 18 year old guy and I have a few tattoos already but I was just wondering what girls/women nowadays actually think about tattoos. I mean, it's not going to change my opinion about getting tattoos or affect what tattoos I get, I was just curious.

And I'm adding this in here as a little note: I hate tribal tattoos, Celtic tattoos, and armbands (among others). I will never get them.

Answer
Well, I'm an 18 year old girl and I have one tattoo and maybe getting one or two more in my future. I personally admire men who have tattoo's, it shows who they are and how they choose to express themselves, but then again, I like the unique and meaningful tattoo's only. However, ever girl has her own opinion on the matter, and you'll find some who hate them, some who don't mind them and others who love them. But like you stated above, that's good thinking, don't let others opinion's affect your decision's, it's your body, do what you wish.
I hope I could be of some assistance.

New to tattoos: How do I go about describing a detailed/realistic tat without having an exact picture to show? I mean, I want something sweet, like an angelic warrior woman with a beautiful face, half blindfolded in half-mail half-cloth, holding a dagger in one hand, and a bible in the other :P. But how can an artist show you what you want?

Answer
For the love of god, please bring reference materials with you to the tattoo shop. There is nothing more annoying than someone who tries to describe what they want (except someone who comes in the shop wanting a 1/2 sleeve and wants us to "draw something up" but wants to spend $100).

Go to the library and make copies from books, print pictures from the Internet, purchase books at the book store, etc.

Reference materials are a MUST.
