what do you think of a tattoo on a girls wrist?

Q. My grandpa died a few years ago and I've always wanted to get a memorial tattoo for him but my family hates tattoos and they REALLY hate memorial tattoos, so i could never get his name or anything. A few days ago I got an idea for a tattoo for him. I want to get a small precious moments like teddy bear, with a halo, holding a golf club. This way it'd have meaning to me but nobody else unless i explained it (My grandpa collected teddy bears, and he loved golf). I want it to be fairly small so I wanted to get it on my wrist. Im just looking for opinions on what people think about wrist tattoos. (On the bottom of my wrist, not the top.)


(In the end I know its my decision, and regardless I'll probably get it there even if the majority says no dont do it..I'm just curious....and wondering if anyone has a better spot for it)
this is just my biased opinion but...I think chicks with tattoos are hot :P :)
i want to get it small, and kind of light colored so that I can cover it with a thick bracelet or concealor. I swore I'd never get any tattoos on my lower arms but I think if its small and easily hidden, I'd do it. thats also why I want it on the bottom of my wrist, so that people wont see it unless I turn my arm over.

my family hates tattoos as well, but i got a tattoo on my wrist anyways almost a year back. mine is sort of memorial tattoo i suppose, i used to cut my wrists a lot and finally i decided to stop so i got a cross tattooed on my wrist and it has really really helped me to be a better person. it definatly hurts like hell but its your body. i think it would be really nice to get one in memory of your grandpa. if you do tho just make sure to get it about an inch below where your actual wrist is otherwise it will hurt ALOT more and it wont heal right most likely and has more chance of getting infected. it will probably be a little cracked in places when its healed also because you bend the skin on your wrist a lot so it will crack the ink but it shouldnt that much or be all that noticable. dont worry what your family thinks, its not their choice. as far as it being there for the rest of your life, its a big decision but ultimatly i dont think its as big of a deal as people make it out to be. yes it will be there forever but thats what is so touching about yours, becuas eyou want to be always reminded of him and that special part of him. do whatever is going to make you happy! just be ready for a lot of mixed opinions about it. i get a lot of really bad looks about mine, prolly cuz its a cross and a lot of people think its offensive but whatever. all that matters is what you think about it.

Wrist tattoo for a girl? Your opinion?

So I'm thinking about getting a tattoo on my wrist. I would get the Jesus fish. (If you're not familiar with it, it's just a very simple fish looking symbol, haha). I'm a very strong Christian, and have worn one around my life my entire life. I would want it to be just quite small and in simple black ink.
Anyway, I'm not a typical tattoo wearer, if there is such a stereotype. I'm a very tiny (5'1" and slender) 18 year old girl... not exactly the tough type. But it's something sweet that has a lot of meaning..it's not like I'm tattooing a fire breathing dragon on my wrist (the opposite of my personality)

So what do you think? I'm becoming a marine biologist, which is a field very accepting of tattoos and piercings, but it would be very small, so it could be covered anyway.
Oh, and it'd be on the inside of my wrist. I don't know if people tattoo the outside of their wrist, but just to be clear. (:
*Also- I really don't want to hear people telling me I'm not a strong christian because I want a tattoo. Seriously, just don't.

Just ignore the religious part and give your opinion on wrist tattoos.

I am a strong Christian. 51 years old and just got my first tattoo 3 weeks ago. It is a cross with Isaiah 53:5-6 referenced on it. Your choice of jobs should be ok for a small tattoo on your wrist, but I would still suggest a spot it could be more easily hidden.

But I really doubt your choice and placement would be a problem.

The tattoos that are referenced in Leviticus have nothing to do with the tattoos Christians get. It dealt with a culture that easily went back to it's pagan roots and worshiped idols and marked their bodies with images of idols.

Leviticus also tells us not to cut our hair and eat certain things. Man couldn't follow all the "laws" that is why Christ came and changed that.

I was wondering what you guys thought of tattoos on girls?...... I have a small one the size of my thumb nail on my wrist... It's of 4 dots and it stands for my sisters and me and it has a lot of meaning to me I'm also 15... But I just wasn't sure about what other people thought of tattoos?

I think that it can look great depending on the person, but I really don't think it looks good if the girl has like 10 tatoo's. It's just a bit tacky to me, but like I said, I think it's really beautiful if it's symbolic and done in a tasteful way, not like a tattoo of someone showing middle finger or some creepy grim reaper, that kinda thing :p

To me all tattoos no matter where they are, the lining feels like a pinch that's being pulled/dragged and the shading feels like a sunburn someone keeps touching/lightly scratching. Keep in mind everyone's different, I've seen full grown men faint, and little pixie like girls take it like a champ.

Are tattoos on a womans arm too masculine ?

I want to get a tattoo, and have done for years. I only want a small dragon about 4 inches long, all in black, on my inner arm either just above my wrist or on my inner bicep, but my best friend (a guy) says he thinks all tattoos on girls arms look too masculine.
