What do girls think of guys that have tattoos?

I'm an 18 year old guy and I have a few tattoos already but I was just wondering what girls/women nowadays actually think about tattoos. I mean, it's not going to change my opinion about getting tattoos or affect what tattoos I get, I was just curious.

And I'm adding this in here as a little note: I hate tribal tattoos, Celtic tattoos, and armbands (among others). I will never get them.

Well, I'm an 18 year old girl and I have one tattoo and maybe getting one or two more in my future. I personally admire men who have tattoo's, it shows who they are and how they choose to express themselves, but then again, I like the unique and meaningful tattoo's only. However, ever girl has her own opinion on the matter, and you'll find some who hate them, some who don't mind them and others who love them. But like you stated above, that's good thinking, don't let others opinion's affect your decision's, it's your body, do what you wish.

What is your view on women with tattoos?

I work for Raven Tattoo Care, a tattoo aftercare product, and only hear one side of the story, people who have made tattooing their life! Big tattoos on the calves, on the shoulder, the low back - do you think they are pretty and make a girl/woman look more attractive or not? You can guess where I stand on the issue, but I am curious what the general population thinks - does this make you look differently at the person, as if they are lower class/trashy - or do you see it as something beautiful, a work of art, an expression of who the person is? Just interested in opinions.

as someone who also works in the business i get to see both opinions, and agree that both are right. There are women out there who are simply trailer trash and have a tramp stamp on their lower back simply to make people look at their ass (in my opinion most v shaped flash tribal down there is simply an arrow). I do see that as an expression of who they are, trashy.

However there are others, myself included, who have a true piece of artwork on their back. The style i have looks like the flowers are airbrushed on and people always want to touch it to see if its actually real or not. Never has anyone called it trashy. i dont see it as a personal expression of anything because i didnt get it to say ive got a tattoo there or even because i like that design more than anything in the world. It was a gift from my mentor and it was more a bonding experience than anything else. i dont think it makes me any different a person than i was before.

I am 13 and I was wondering what guys around my age find attractive... Well if you are in this age range, what do you find attractive in girls/women? And if your older, what do you find attractive in women?

What do i find attractive in women? At this age, the more accurate word is "girl". I do find girls more attractive than women. I, being 16, am greatly enthralled by the cuteness, the lithe and curvaceous aspects of a girl. The body is obvious, but their is also a certain mystique, an infinitely interesting aspect surrounding the way your minds work, why you do the things you do. Personality. And I'm not sure what is so attractive about a girl's private parts, or the body in general. It must be because you are different than us guys. The truth is, females are the most attractive creatures in the universe for us. It is hard enough to resist temptation without you girls flaunting your bodies, but another thing entirely when you show cleavage or something. That gets our minds working. I realize many girls love the idea that they can turn a guy on like that. But it really makes it hard sometimes. Girls have been known as cruel angels, with minds that work in strange ways. If I see a girl in a bikini, it sits in my head and simmers. It piques my curiosity and starts my imagination. That just the body, but a real relationship is unquestionably better. It may seem cheesy, but I want real love. Anyway, being feminine and full of passion is what is attractive in a girl. I prefer clothing that is pretty modest, but displays a girl's form. Highlights the femininity. Yeah, an hourglass shape with fair-sized breasts is good, but is certainly not a deciding factor. I am a bit feral, so strong hormones are also a plus. I dislike earrings, piercings, or tattoos. If I like a girl, I get protective of her, and find myself wishing to comfort her in her sorrows. I am a fan holding, with lots of hugs and kisses. Don't make fun of me, or I will glare at your profile name for several seconds.

How to get over jealousy and insecurity?

I'm engaged. I love my fiancé deeply and he treats me better than anyone I've ever. There's one issue, and that's my insecurity. I feel like I'm ruining everything. I'm not generally an insecure person, it's because of things that happened.. But I need advice on how to get over them before I completely ruin things. He has apologized for everything, changed it all, and genuinely feels bad. These are the things that have happened, in no particular order.

1) he told me a story about cheating on his ex with her best friend. Months later, he made a sexual comment to MY best friend on Facebook.

2) until I finally blew up about it, he was always going on and on about what he liked in women.. None of which I had. Example - I've heard about how he has a thing for women in glasses about a billion times. I don't wear glasses. New Years Eve, I made myself into everything he says he wants (except tattoos).. And I got the biggest reaction out of me. He talked about how beautiful i was, he was all over me all night. His contact picture for me on his phone is similar.. He claims it's the only picture I've sent him but I've sent him tons, but just one with glasses, my hair up, etc.

3) once, he blatantly checked out tattooed girls online in front of me. Verbally judging each one as hot or not. He has apologized for doing it.

4) this is the big one. There was another girl in the picture, and I kinda consider what he was doing as an emotional affair. He was texting her first thing in the morning and last thing at night every single morning and saying he had promised her he would. He initially tried to hide the nature of his relationship with her.. But it finally came out that he had a thing for her for a super long time. And when he was telling me about it, it was clear he still did. My thought about it was that I was being put second. Why wouldnt he want to talk to ME first and last? tHe also blatantly refused to make me the same promise

I want to get over this. :(

Are all lower back tattoos on women tramp stamps?

Are all back tattoos on women tramp stamps or just the ones that go across the back that look like wings or tribal etc. My wife has a fairy on her back and her friend said that's a tramp stamp. I say it isn't. We have a bet on this one.

Well, it depends on who you ask. I'm a tattoo artist, and we refer to them in the business as lower back tattoos. The only time you may hear it, (at least around my shop) is when some girl, (looking like she's been missing out on soap and water for a week) comes in to price one, and when she finds out what tattoos cost, heads out the door. Now, that phrase is derogatory toward women in general, and was likely coined by some narrow-minded geek, who wasn't getting any. So, he came up with the term, out of nothing more than lust, jealousy of her boyfriend, and good old fashioned self-righteous indignation. Too bad popular opinion, among the ill educated, swings the other way. Also, good lower back tattoos are conformed to the lines of the body, particularly across the top of the hips. they can cut it low, so it can be hidden with regular jeans, but still show it off in the bedroom, or on the beach. To me, that in itself shows a dignified attitude about placement. NOT to be confused with a 'bulls-eye' as that is put on for different motives, and a whole different subject. The fairy is a fairy tattoo, that also happens to be a lower back tattoo. Calling it a 'tramp stamp' is ridiculous. That's my two cents.
