What do you guys think about neck tattoos... full neck or half neck. ... or any at all?

I already wrote on another tattoo question, so I'll just copy my answer. Same situation.

I find the whole tattoo thing funny.

First of all, if you really want a tattoo and it's something deeply meaningful to you, you should be able to answer your own question on what to get and where to put it. And you shouldn't give 2 cents about what anyone else thinks about it.

However, I think most people today get tattoos just to be part of a fad. I remember being in college and seeing this huge boom in tattoos, for both men and women, around 99-00.

Today, it seems like every girl has a tramp stamp and every guy a tribal arm band. I've gotten to the point where I think everyone looks even more like a conformist idiot.

Again, if it really means something to you- more power to ya. Who cares what other people think. Follow your heart.

Dragon tattoo for girl?

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo of a dragon wraped around a cross on my tight ...
It has a special meaning to me..but some people are telling me, its not feminine enough...So i dont know now.I'M a very feminine and classic women, vice-president of an important business... Maybe its not good for me...but i still have it in my mind.
What do you think?
Does anybody has any suggestion?

Hmm.. Its really a personal preference if you want a tattoo then go for it, If you're unsure however I would ponder on it a little more, Maybe try a Lotus Flower or a Hibiscus Or possibly a flower and tribal design with some stars? Check out deviantart.com and google images for tattoo designs, Or you could always find an artist, Always ask for a portfolio before settling with one, A good artist always keeps a portfolio of their work and you want to know what they're capable of, Ask about a custom tattoo, Ask them about drawing up something for you they might require a deposit just to ensure you wont waste their time, However it would be a better way to go about it, That way the artist can have fun with it and incorporate their own style to make it look good, Because I can Promise you anything you pick off of the wall in a tattoo parlor the artist has already done it before, Just a few tips to getting a great tattoo, Have fun and Best of luck

Like I have a wolf, Eagle feather, and a cow skull on my left forearm, black and red tribal on right lower arm, and then an Eagle/tribal on my upper left arm. But i just want more and more.

I'm a biker, I have a wolf and raven on my rib cage, one on each side, large triple ravens on my back and raven/pentacle and celtic style raven on my shoulders and lower back. My partner also a biker (I'm a girl by the way, but I ride my own bike ) he has less ink than me but skulls and dragons on his forearms.

How do tattoos look on freckled skin?

I really want to get a tattoo done on my shoulder, the only problem is that my shoulders are very freckled. I was wondering if tattoos look weird on freckled skin?

I know a red haired girl who has very pale, freckled skin all over. She has one of her arms covered in tribal tattoo art. To be honest MY OWN OPINION is that black ink looks a bit strange against freckled skin and ruins the effect of tha tat. But I think it might be OK on your shoulder and just a single design, it will probably just cover up the freckles in that area un like the person I know who has them like 'between' the design as its swirly and what not. If that makes sense. Go for it if thats what you want. :)

What is the advantage and disadvantage of having your eyebrows tattooed?

If you are a pretty girl would you consider it?

I donât have tattooed eyebrows, but three small hoop rings on one side. I like them and it doesnât look too bad. I didnât find out until after I had done my own peircings that there is a nerve up there that if hit, can paralyze the whole side of your face, hmmmm. Guess I got lucky there.
We worked at a mill in an isolated location in British Columbia and there was a young couple that got on there for a while too. They had spent time in Africa and she had tribal tattoos on her face. She was and is a very pretty young woman, but I thought then and still do that they looked rather cool.
These days a lot of people are getting tattoos of Japanese symbols, that depending on who sees them may result in some not so good misunderstandings. Be aware of what you are getting and know some of the culture behind it before you get the tattoo. Itâs easy enough to get a cover up, but on the face, I donât think so. I am considering one on the face, but I have considered the same tattoo a few years now, so it is a big decision for me. I already have six tattoos, but none on my face (yet). Here is a site that might be of some help in making your decision as regards to facial tattooing.

It does not ruin a beautiful face when done right Be prepared to live with it the rest of your life It definitely does add character to a personâs face, but not all peopleâs faces. Be careful of what symbols etc. that you do get as sometimes they can have different meanings; depending on who sees them.

Ok, firstly let me just state that this tattoo in no way resembles one of those 'tramp stamps' girls get with a tribal design and flowers etc... Its a banner with the edges slightyly curving upwards (away from the ass) and text inside. Now 1 thing id like to say...i think the lower back on a guy is a completely different spot than the lower back of a girl. i plsn to get it not just above my crack but on my lower back.

any comments? just curios?

I think its fine, your body your tattoo. Bah to what other people think, tattoos still have quite the social stigma so either way you're gonna get nasty comments from some people.

I've seen a couple nice tattoos on the lower area of a guys back. I think your idea is lovely and hopefully you will be very happy with it after you have it done.

Im getting a pretty large tattoo. kinda scared bout how bad it will hurt lol?

I am getting a large tribal tattoo covering the top of my shoulder, right side of my chest, my entire right deltoid, and about half of the right side of my back. It's my first tattoo. And I realize it is a rather large first tattoo but I've been planning it for awhile now and I know I want it. I just wana know how bad its gona be lol.

I got one on my foot ( which everyone says is the worst!) and it tickled for a bit :) but after the outlines the shading hurt pretty bad. I'm a girl if that makes you feel better haha but just keep your mind on something else
