Inner forearm tattoos on girls?

I have a few tattoos but in non visible places but I was thinking about a forearm tattoo.

My boyfriends best friend is a girl and she has a few on her forearms. On her left arm she has a cherry blossom design that takes up almost all of her inner arm. Then on her right she has a quote and a few inches up she has a feather. They're all on her inner forearms and she wears them with soo much confidence so it looks good. And goes with her style.

But do you think they only look good on certain people? If you're comfortable enough to wear them like that? What do you think about girls with inner forearm tattoos?

I honestly don't like the tattoos. I am not a fan of tattoos to begin with. i mean if your goal in life is to ruin your skin then go ahead but if you want to be pretty.... then i wouldn't. SO all in all i don't agree with the tattoo thing. (any girl with tattoos i always see as a slut!)

A few years ago, I decided I wanted an inner forearm tattoo. I excitedly ran my idea through people. The 'people' were mostly tattooed men. It did not go over well. fyi I am now 40yrs old. At the time I had no visible tattoos.

The forearm is prime real estate, so its important its something you really really love.

Since then, I've gotten my upper arms done, they are just about filled (2 half sleeves). I love them.

I have my appointment for my inner forearm tattoo in a few weeks in Sept. I've had the appt. since Apr. I think that they look fabulous on women.

didn't ask people this time, because I don't care and I've always been certain I want this. The original tattoo I wanted for the inner forearm has changed.

I think that if you love it, then the tattoo is for you. Mistakes I see some making on this placement is getting a tattoo too big for the canvas.

As I've stated I have a Pin up zombie girl on my left forearm but I am ready to add more a long side of her but not quite sure what, pictures and suggestions are needed.

I'm assuming you mean children - names of romantic involvements tend to be thought of as the 'kiss of death' by folks to that relationship.

If so, then kids, parents, blood relations... all fairly common and generally well received. From my limited observance, it seems to be one of the more publicly acceptable tattoos as well. As a culture we say how much we like children and the family, and it looks like tattoos demonstrating that get special dispensation & approval. Who's going to dis on a tattoo dedicated to one's kids when the obvious rejoinder is "what, you hate children?"

How painful are tattoos on your forearm?

You know, the section below the bend of your elbow, on the side that faces you.

I'm getting a tattoo there today, though it's fairly small so I guess any pain I feel won't be for too long anyhow. And if you couldn't tell, I've never had a tattoo, haha.

Oh - and I realize everyone takes pain differently in different places, just wondering on opinions.

I was 18 when I got mine done (now 22) and i'm a real girlie girl! I was soo scared to get my first tattoo on my forearm but honestly it doesn't hurt! I actually quite liked the feeling, weird I know! ha.. Just one word of warning though, I really regret getting a tattoo in such an obvious place, also the fact that it's hearts, butterflies and a crown doesn't help! Really consider how you will feel years down the line because I feel ashamed now when I go to head offices for job interviews!! Do not be scared about it hurting though.. it really doesn't. Hope this helps x

I'm a biker, I have a wolf and raven on my rib cage, one on each side, large triple ravens on my back and raven/pentacle and celtic style raven on my shoulders and lower back. My partner also a biker (I'm a girl by the way, but I ride my own bike ) he has less ink than me but skulls and dragons on his forearms.

It's going to have a lot of detail and a lot of color.

+ it's over a scar.

um, i have a tattoo, right belew my boob, and one on my foot,
the one on my foot felt like a knife on a sunburn, while the one under my boob, was more like a knife.
im a girl though, and i barely have any pain tolerance hahaha.!
