personally, I would not go out with any girl that has more tattoos than me. I don't have any.....

No really, I believe tattoos on a woman should be on the ankle, lower back, etc..... I have seen many tattoos on women and those that blare out are a true turn-off for me..... Some a very beautiful and some just look like they did it themselves.

Advice.....go to a reputable tattoo ARTISTS......

THAT is a weird question. i knew a girl in junior high (12 or 13) who's (whose?) dad was a tattoo artist and she had a tattoo on her leg of a rose vine from foot to knee and a another smaller one on her neck. i don't **THINK** it's illegal or child abuse.. after all with a parents permission a 15 year old can get a tattoo or piercing, several people in my high school had them. so where is that line drawn? and what tattoo artist in their right mind would do so? the ethics of the matter would hold any reputable tattoo artist back.

How badly would it hurt to get a tattoo on my forearm?

right below the inside of my elbows, I want to get my mother's name and birth/death date and on the other I want my fathers. but I have a low tolerance for pain. My arms aren't super skinny, they're just normal. I have to push down pretty hard with my finger to feel the bone. How bad would it hurt?

Well you have a lot of nerves, tendons, and of course your bone. So... it will definitely be one of the more painful spots. You'll probably feel a tingling and tenderness all up and down your arm.

But honestly... it just depends how much of a girl you are! haha kidding man!

I want to get "love is my religion". Or should i get just a heart ,then it says is my religion. Where should i get it tattooed on my body? Im a nineteen year old girl, I dont like lower back tattoo's and please no preaching about the bible saying you shouldnt mark your body. Which design idea seems to make your heart beat just a little faster? Go with your instinct! Also, if you wanna give it a "test drive," get a henna tattoo of your design, and try different places. That way you can see where you'll want your design, and which design you'd like! I would say "Love is my religion" but that's just my preference. Ignore anyone preaching about that bible stuff, it also states not to wear clothing of mixed material, and to not cut your hair, which I'm sure the people behind those computers have done so. On the back of your shoulder is a good place, not very painful. The back of your neck, the upper inner part of your arm, your wrist, your ribs (ouch), your ankle, across the upper part of your back (if you get the full phrase), on your upper thigh (if the heart), on your hip, on your stomach above your jean line (if you get the full phrase. But again, OUCH) or you could get the phrase running along the outer side of your arm, wrist to elbow. Hope some of these ideas might have helped!

I know that getting a tattoo is painful, but some areas of the body incur more pain than others. So, I was wondering where is the least painful and where is the most painful. All you tattooed persons out there, speak up!

Feel your body and you'll find the places where it's really just skin stretched over bone. Those are the most painful. The needle scratching against the bone is excrutiating. That makes the lower back at the base of the spine a very painful place. This is a very sexy, very popular place for tattoos on girls but it hurts. Anywhere down the spine is very painful as well.

Places where skin covers fat and muscle are less painful. Use your fingers and you'll find the places with the most flesh under the skin. Popular places are the arms and upper shoulders for this reason as well as the fact that they are visible and easy to display.

I've heard that under the arms, circling the torso across the ribs is very painful too.

You know the most sensitive places on your body. Just use your best judgement. When in doubt, ask the tattoo artist for advice.

I'm planning on getting a medium sized tattoo soon, but I have no idea what to expect. What kind of pain will I experience? What does it compare to? Also, what is a good place to get a tattoo, besides the lower back and the upper arm? I'm a girl, so keep that in mind, please!

i got my first tattoo in june and was really nervous at first. i got it on my ankle & it wasnt too bad. it does hurt though but every tattoo does! i dont think the pain is that bad that you will cry so dont worry. it feels annoying more than anything & also like a very deep cat scratch. but once your adrenaline kicks in you wont think about it that much. good luck
