Where to get a pair of angel wings tattooed?

I really like the idea of the full back angel wings, but it is SO unoriginal and overused. Here's a picture of it..

Angel wings have a meaning behind them for me, so don't start saying, "don't get it just because you think it's cool" because that is not the case. I'm a girl, just so you know. So, something a little feminine is what I'm aiming for.

Personally, I think they look kind of silly and out of place any other place but your back. If you really love the idea, I think you should get it, even if it is overdone. Are you really willing to sacrifice a great-looking, yet overdone, tattoo for a mediocre less common one? It's up to you, but that's just my opinion. Good luck with whatever you decide. :)

it obviously depends on the girl and the tattoo(s)



overdone/trendy tattoos (stars/moons, lips, angel wings)
tend to be extremely unattractive to me
as do terrible e-spelling/grammar, but that's a little off topic


well done & unique/interesting tattoos on the right girl can be very attractive
but poorly done/unoriginal/trendy tattoos can make even the hottest girl very unattractive to me

tattoo...angel wings?

I'm about to be 18 and am going to get a tattoo on my lower back.
I really want a set of angel wings, very similar to one of the girls on my super sweet 16, Alicia. But i cannot find a picture of anything similar, or anything i really like.

Any pictures you have, or can find of cute (not to big!) wings, for my lower back?

Why not get something more natural looking like a vine and some roses or some kind of flowers?

wings... on your lower back? hmm I donno it just kinda sounds like something you might regret later on. (only my opinion though) do whatever you wish. =)

The best thing you can do if you want it to be about you and yourself is to draw out the design you want, and make it your own.

Do it on paint... all you have to is draw one side and then copy & paste it, click on Image then to Flip and rotate it horizonally... put it togther.

If you draw it up any good Tatto artist should be able to copy what you want, and maybe you will be happier that you came up with it yourself.

Angel wings tattoo?

My grandmother, whom I was very close with, passed away within the past year. I've been thinking of some type of tattoo I could get to represent her, and I keep coming back to the angel wings. I know they are so cliché and common right now, but I'm trying to think of a way to make them more my own and not like the girl standing next to me. I want a pair of cute, simple wings with a small halo on top. And then I would like to have her name, initials, or Gram (how I referred to her) written in script between the wings. I also definitely don't want this on my back. I was debating around one of my shoulder blades, but I'm still not quite sure.
One, does that sound like a gay tattoo? You can be honest. And two, any ideas on where I could get it? I don't want it too in the open, but when summer comes and I'm on the beach, I won't mind if it's visible if that helps. Any input would be great and appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Put it where you want it and if you like the design that's great. Do what you want to do because tattoos are supposed to make you happy and have meaning for you not for other people. No matter what tattoo and where you put it someone is going to think it looks stupid because it all comes with having a tattoo but if it makes you feel happy and beautiful to have it on your body then you wont care what they say about the tattoo. Just make it your own.
