i have one on my hip of 2 hearts, one on my "love handle" of angel wings, a halo and "RIP Baby Corey". i have a big star with music notes everywhere on my right hip. I have all my kids names wrapped around my right thigh. and i have a heart on my foot, and getting a skull on my left wrist tomorrow night :)

I have 3. One is a friendship tattoo. ( best friends since Kindergarten) It's a Celtic clover on my ankle. Approximately 2 inches by 2 inches. Above that is a purple Iris with the German word for love, the Polish word for family and the Irish/ Gaelic word for friends. The third is a Chinese dragon curled around an egg with the Libra symbol in the middle of the egg. It's done in greyscale other than the spine scales, eyes and symbol, which are in Sapphire blue. That tattoo is in the middle of my upper back, right between my scapulae. I'm saving up money and researching tattoo artists for my fourth ( and probably final) tattoo. It's going to begin between my big toe and the toe next to it, go up my foot, wrap around my leg a few times, zigzag up my side, and end right below my clavicle.


So no, I can't say that I think tattoos on women are bad. That would be a bit hypocritical, don't you think? And to that person who said tarts made them think of a butch lesbian... No. I am the farthest thing from 'butch'. And I honestly think everyone in the world is just a little bit bi- curious at least.

But my advice to you is this...

Where are you comfortable ... getting your tattoo .. that you know you will be happy with its placement when you get older?

Example: I was going to get wings on my back , and i was going to design them myself, and then I said " Wait... when the day comes when I get married, I want to wear a backless dress, I don't want people seeing that on my wedding day"... so I didn't get them but I got stars on my hips instead. The good thing about the hips (right above my pant line a star on each side) is that as I get older , I will dress my age and the tattoo's will be covered up.

If you want something showy (in a place where it cannot be hidden) than that's your choice, but seriously think about it...

Forearm? ehhh yes and no
Thigh? Not for me personally i want to be able to wear shorts
Calf? Not for me... more of a place where guys get them ( in my own opinion)
shoulder blade? Not for me, its been done and I don't want it showing like that

Pick places on your body, start off by having someoen draw something on you, spend the day with it, and ifyou can live with it and you love it get it there. Test.. it.... out!

If you want these words as in words that don't describe you but as in just words (I hope you're getting what i'm saying here) then...

Beauty = جÙا٠"jamal"
Strength = ÙÙØ© "qowa"
Courage = شجاعة "shajaa'a"

But if you want to say that you are beautiful and that you have strength and courage (as in describing yourself), then...

If you're a girl:
Beautiful = جÙÙÙØ© "jamila"
Strong = ÙÙÙØ© "qawiya"
Brave = شجاعة "shoojaa'a"

If you're a guy:
Beautiful = جÙÙÙ "jamil"
Strong = ÙÙÙ "qawi"
Brave = شجاع "shoojaa' "

Or if not, just take the words meaning beautiful, strength and courage from the words above I gave you according to your gender. (And i'm guessing that you are a girl, so they would be...) جÙÙÙØ©, ÙÙØ©, شجاعة "jamila, qowa, shajaa'a" Beautiful, strength, courage.

But be wary of the pronunciation difference between "brave" if said to a female and "courage." The words are written the same way "شجاعة" but they have different pronunciations. Brave said to a female is "شجاعة" "shoojaa'a" and courage is "شجاعة" "shajaa'a." So yeah again, be wary of the pronunciation difference!

I think that 1 in every 3 girls with a tattoo has it. Its boring,simple and shows a lack of personality or being unique.

Thats just me though, I like original cool stuff. If you want to be just like every other Britney Spears wannabe out there go for it and dont let anyone with good taste stand in your way.

I'm gonna be getting three tattoos
1- a crucifix on my belly button
2- the words "Jesus peace" on my right shoulder
3- and a similar patern too a bracelt on my left wrist(similar to the one that Eminem has)
I am going to get these tattoos regardless especially the first two, I'm not religious but I've always beloved in god and wanna express that.

I love tattoos on guys. I mean, I don't exactly like your tattoo ideas and personally I don't like the bellybutton thing, but in general, I would definitely date a guy with tattoos, unless he has a face tattoo, then he's an idiot.
