guys, are small tattoos on the shoulder sexy or trashy?

i have been thinking about getting a tattoo on my shoulder for a while now, but i have been told they look trashy. if i do get one it will be small and intimate, not big and meaningless.

okay, any guy who will reject you because of a tattoo isn't worth your time. and if you're getting a tattoo based on opinions of guys on Y!A? you shouldn't bother...

i'll start off by saying its not the tattoo that is trashy, but the person. if you're a trashy girl, tattoos won't make you look any better. and if you're a sexy girl, tattoos won't really effect that either. it's not like girls are trashy just because they have tattoos. i don't know where you live, but where i'm from, many people have tattoos, and a lot of them are women. it's not like every girl who has a tattoo is a slut or trashy or anything.

i have two tattoos, both of which are about medium sized. my boyfriend thinks they're sexy and i've only heard compliments from guys about them. not one guy has ever told me my tattoos are a turn-off. if you can wear them confidently and you're a sexy girl, go for it. i can still be a classy girl and have tattoos. i have my ribs and my feet covered, and they're both beautiful pieces.

just because a tattoo is big doesn't make it meaningless. i think the trashiest thing ANYONE can do with tattoos is get like, stupid trendy stuff like hearts or stars (for girls) or tribal or dragons (for guys). if you get something unique and wear it well, it will look just fine.

How do guy's really feel about tattoo's on women?

Q. I have four tattoo's...my nickname given to me by my grandfather who has passed away is across my lower back. A tribal cross with a heart in it on my left ribs. A swallow bird on the back of my neck and luceat lux vestry witch is Latin for let your light shine on my right foot...so my question is how do guys really see women with tattoo's? thanks
I love my tattoos and they all have meaning for me! Yes one is on my lower back but that is the only spot that it would work... It does not make me a "Tramp" to have a tattoo there and to think any different is a sign of Ignorance so thank you!

The plural form of words like tattoo do not have apostrophes in them.

I hate all of those tattoos but I'm not ignorant enough to base my opinion of you on the tattoos you've chosen.

1. How much does it hurt on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being low 10 being unbearable)

2. Where do you think is the sexiest spot on a woman for a tattoo?

1: For me, the pain was about at a 4. picture dragging a needle point along a pretty bad sunburn. That's basically what it felt like for me. It hurts as you get closer to a bone, like your ankle or shin bone (or anywhere where the skin is thinner) Remember that the pain is different for everybody. Some people find it just kindof annoying, some find it really relaxing, and some find it almost unbearable.

2: I think it really depends on the woman. I like tattoos that flow with the body, ones that accent what was already there. does that make any sense? Maybe an example would be a rather big tattoo on the ribs/side that flows with the body, increasing the curves.

3: There are TONS of websites out there. If you're looking for something specific, you can just type it into a search engine. like "Star tattoo" or something like that. A couple sites that I've found helpful:
www.bmezine.com: I'm pretty sure this has the largest collection of pictures on the internet
www.deviantart.com: more a website for a lot of different kinds of art, but they have a lot of tattoo designs if you search for them
Once you find something you like, or a few different designs, print them out and take them to a good tattoo artist. That way you can talk to them about what you like about each picture, and they can combine and add or subtract, to make it perfect and unique to you.

4: I have a tattoo of a rose and two buds and leaves, surrounded by ribbons on my ankle, it's kindof in the shape of a cross, but it doesnt have any religious significance
I also have a kindof tribal-y design of a horse head I designed my self that has the name of my recently deceased niece hidden in it. This is on my inner calf.

I'm getting a comic book style woman on my ribs entangled in vines. So if you artist is good at tribal but sucks at faces or slight realism.. it doesn't help.

Well I live in Eastern CT, i'm not sure how far away from Willimantic Norwalk is, but if you are possibly willing to travel I highly reccomend FAME Tattoo. They are amazing. And amazingly cheap. I don't have one done from their, my best friend got the whole back of his calf done and its seriously high quality, and it only cost $150!

does it hurt to get a tattoo on your side?

Q. i was thinking about getting a butterfly tattoo on my right side, i have heard that this is one of the most painful tattoos to get. is that true? i want real answers not BS, so please if you dont know just move on, mkkay?!

I have a combination tribal/beautiful woman on my side. I have 17 tattoos. It was the most painful tattoo I have gotten. Mainly on the ribs themselves. So it really depends on where on your side you are talking about. Pain is only a feeling. You can choose to ignore it just like ignoring if you are happy or sad.

I always like to watch because then I am thinking, that is it? That little needle can't hurt me. Always works really well for me.
