Rib cage tattoo on bigger woman?

Ok i know this is gonna be a weird question, but it can make a difference. Im going to be getting a tattoo on my left rib cage, and i know with all tattoos they hurt, i have 3. My question is, if your a bigger woman will it hurt worse or less on the side? Ive heard people say that the more fat you have the less pain and visa versa. Im a thick girl, no not like 400lbs but im a little bigger than most, and am getting my tattoo soon. I just wanted to know. Thanks!

I'm about 5'7 and 160 pounds - not too fat, but certainly not skinny. Getting my ribs tattooed DEFINITELY hurt. I think it's just one of those tender areas that is going to hurt no matter what.

Obviously the answerers on yahoo answers are judgemental and crude... But to be fairly honest the ribs are very painful to get a tattoo placed (personal situation) but i think quotes or a verse that is meaningful is really nice. I had a mini poem on my side which signified on how we should take every chance we get. Just do something nice and beautiful and be sure to conquer the pain that you will endure! Goodluck

Sexy tattoos for women on ribs with words or lyrics?

Last summer I saw a girl with a tattoo covering most of her right side. It was elegant, yet very sexy. It was black and twisted up with words curved with the curves of what may have been flower stems or some cool pattern ( i did not want to stare too much). I am deeply considering getting a tattoo similar to this! I am young, have not yet had children, but for sure want to. Curious if and how this could stretch with pregnancy. Also, does anyone know any good sites where I can look at tattoos similar to this!? Or does anyone have one similar to this that they would be willing for me to take a look at to get some ideas!?

3rd - Im unsure how been pregnat will effect the tattoo be i dont think it will do to much damage

Are small rib tattoos attractive on women?

Okay so I'm 18, 5'1" and about 94 lbs so I'm pretty small and I look pretty young for my age.

For a while I've been considering a small tattoo on my ribs, kind of close to under my breast but more on the side on the ribs. It will just be one straight line and it will say "rise above yourself" in Hebrew (I'm still trying to make sure I have the accurate translation, though). I want this quote because I've had a lot of body issues in the past and am very easily influenced by people, so I like that it would be there as a constant reminder to myself to be stronger than my negative emotions.

Anyways, would this be attractive to you or no? I'm still going to get it if I really want to because it's my body and I'm gonna do what I want, but I would like your opinions! Turn on, turn off? Any other opinions? Thanks guys!

Also, if you speak/ know Hebrew and know how to translate that quote into Hebrew with an equivalent meaning, please let me know!!

Hebrew makes for a beautiful script,as far as accurate translation..sorry I can't help lol. But I've seen similar tattoos in similar placements on women and I think it looks sexy,yet..classy. You obviously appreciate its symbolism so I would say go for it,just make sure you have the appropriate translation correct before doing so...good luck.

How would you perceive an attractive female with a not so girly tattoo?

but not manly at all! just not the average hearts, butterflies, all that unoriginal stuff (no offense they look cute and all!) haha

something alittle more. for example a tattoo like angelina's, megan fox's tats etc?

i personally love them and it makes them a little endearing and mysterious, its not something you'd expect from a pretty girl. makes her unique

i personally think that not so feminine tattoos are hot on women, and all the guys ive dated would def. agree.

most of the guys ive dated or been interested in, ive met because they noticed my tattoos and were intrigued, which is not very common for pretty young girls to be very heavily tattooed. [i mean, two sleeves, full chest piece, feet, ribs, one calf, piece on the neck behind the ear.. pretty heavy]

i mean, you'll never be able to get EVERYONE you ask to agree that theyre hot or not, but from my experience and from people i know, heavy tattoos or not feminine tattoos on women are extremely hot.



at the same time, i do get weird looks, or ive had an old woman say to me "those are for ugly girls" or things like that. i do have people ask "why such a pretty young girl would do that to herself", so yes, there will always be haters. but get a tattoo for yourself, not for the rest of society!!

tattoos are also starting to be a lot more socially acceptable these days-- almost everyone, even a community's most-respected people, are getting tatted up now!

I never thought I'd get a tattoo but I'm planning to get one. 2 options:
1/ A small one on my hips.
2/ A bigger one along one side of my ribs, a little under my boobs.

I generally think big tattoos and obvious ones that on visible places like arms and hands or legs are trashy. But what about small ones or ones that goes along the ribs that no one can see unless I'm in bikini?

Any body can be toned back into shape after a pregnancy. I'm sure you've seen imagery out there of women in their 50's that have the bodies of 20 year olds. Haha, as far as tattoos are concerned, depending on *where* you get it on your ribs, you may or may not have problems. (I digress; eventually, a text tattoo will get "old" looking, so you'll need to get it touched up eventually... but that's whether you're pregnant or not).

If your pregnancy does effect it, it would likely stretch the lettering out and make it... "thicker", I guess is the only way I can describe it. Cocoa butter rubbed on your skin on a daily basis will make it easier for the skin to maintain elasticity and it'll help the skin go back to its... "original" pliability after the pregnancy. Of course, you will have to get back to your original weight after having a baby, which for some women, is never an easy task.

I'm trying to say, it doesn't have to turn into an unsightly mess if you don't want it to or if you don't allow it to happen. But you're going to have to work for that result.
