Answer
sorry, tattoos on girls are not cute or sexy. They are trashy. Guys assume that girls with tattoos are trashy too. I suggest you do not get a tattoo. A tattoo is little better than a cartoonâyou canât get a good quality drawing on the human skin. It will deface your body like ugly graffiti defaces a public building. There is a big cost to getting a tattoo, and it is far more than wasted money. The true cost of a tattoo is a lifetime of regret. Most regret it within 5 years. There is an 80% chance you will regret it in your lifetime. The regret starts after you start to notice how people react to you. Some will look at you with disgust, for tattoos are offensive to many, many people. There are serious practical reasons not to get tattooed. Your chances of getting a good job will be greatly diminishedâmost companies will not hire you since your tattoo will be seen as offensive to other workers. The majority of people get tattooed when young and their decision making process is not yet matured. Youth tends to be impulsive. Young people are still developing and they need to be very careful in making important, permanent decisions. The reasons young people get tattooed are not mature (i.e. they want people to notice them, they want to pretentiously âhonorâ someone in a way that will attract notice, they want to pretentiously present some âdeepâ quotation on their skin in the hope that people will think they too are âdeepâ, they are rebelling against their parents or society, they are conforming to what they think are social norms, they are unable to see ahead and view the negative results of their actions, etc.) In a large sense, nothing illustrates the degeneration of western culture more than the entertainment industry encouraging impulsive youth to permanently disfigure themselves in order to âexpress themselvesâ. But such is the power of suggestion that more and more young people are buying into this Hollywood lie that tattoos are a cutting edge way to âexpressâ yourself. But that is so not true. You should express yourself with your words and actions, not by inking graffiti onto your living flesh. The message you will actually convey with a tattoo is âI am foolishâ, âI make bad decisionsâ, âI have no sense of right and wrong,â âI follow any fad at any costâ and âI am unemployableâ. If you want to see the true level of cultural development for tattoos and other body modifications, look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwOXCmjTsvs I am telling you this because I care about you and I want to help you. Good luck to you in your life. But do not get tattooed. Tattoos are permanent. You can not take them back.

GUYS: Do you like hip tattoos on girls?

A

Answer
Like anything else in the art world, it depends on how good the art is, and the condition of the canvas. Good skin art on a pretty girl looks good. And, if she stays in shape, and gets touch-up sittings done every seven years or so, it'll stay looking good for a long time. Tattoos, like any other body modification, are designed to enhance what is already there. If you want your ink to look good for years to come, keep both the ink and your body in good condition, and it will. I know some older people with really good skin art, that maintain it well, and it looks good. Most people with ink are rather outgoing in the first place, so they're more spirited about life in general. That's the main difference between people who pull it off well, and those who do not. An introvert with a mousy attitude will overshadow any ink he or she may have acquired. This is true of tattooed people in general. Sorry for getting a little long winded, but it's not a yes or no answer. Take care.

Hip tattoo for curvy girl?

Megbee

Hey, I was thinking about getting my first tattoo in a place that's easily concealable, but I can show off when I want to. I was thinking my hip would be a nice place, but I'm a curvy girl, and a little heavyset, so I was wondering how these tattoos look on heavier people?

I want something... generally like this:

Any opinions? :)

Answer
Being a curvy girl myself. Thanks to my 2 beautiful kiddos I think it is great that you want a tat on your hip. That would be beautiful. If that is where you want it I say go for it. It is something sexy that can be reserved for someone special you want to show it to. We seem to get caught up in the stigma that skinny equals the plateau of beauty but that is NOT that case I know many skinny women and do not have any grace or beauty about them. Tramp stamps are so 1990 the hip area sounds like a great place to put it. And when you are a grandmother you can cover it up. :)
I say go for it. it is 2008 sexy comes in many shades & sizes.

Peace & Bliss

GIRLS and TATTOOS?

flirt

i need opinions from people....
whats your opinion of girls with tattoos?
for example one on lower and one on hip.

Answer
i have many tattoos. i started when i was 16 , and i am now 35. I work in an office , and i have tattoos that show, and some that dont, and i LOVE my tattoos , and i really dont care what other people think. I am also a mommy , and my girls LOVE when my hubby and i put the temorary tattoos on them. my tattoos dont make me who i am. i have a wonderful family, a good job, a nice home, the best of friends. all of my tattoos however are very feminine looking, but some are big. one on my leg goes from my ankle, to almost my knee, and goes some parts over my shin, and some pasrt around the back of my leg. and if i wear a skirt, it shows, and i dont care. you know what the difference is between people who are tattoed, and people wgo aren't ? people who are tattood dont care if you are.....

I wanted wings going up my hips. Do girls think hips tattoos are hot?

What i think is hot is when a boy has a tattoo that is unique and meaningful him, sort of like hes wearing his pain, happiness, suffering( whatever the tattoo means) on his body not cause he got one to be hot sorry not saying you did this just saying! and no no not on your hips get maybe your ribs or on your back! And make sure this is a meaningful tattoo to you i was going to get one that wasn't meaningful to me for ages cause thought it was cool but i got one that was and i love it!!

How did your parents react when they found out you were hiding a tattoo?

Peta

My friend got a small tattoo on her hip and she's been hiding it for about 8 months so far, she's 19 but her parents are totally against tattoos and piercings. Even though she is of age, her parents still have a "say" so i just wanted to know what your experiences were like :) plz share.

Answer
My first tattoo was on my wrist, so there was no hiding it. I got home that night, and my mother freaked out on me. Phoned my dad (they're divorced) and he freaked out on me even more. The next few days were tense, but they lightened up eventually. They told me I'll never get a decent job, or man and I'll always be and look like a loser. So I just decided to prove them wrong. I'm less than 2 years away from graduating with my law degree, work for the Police AND I'm engaged to the most amazing man ever. My tattoo collection have grown since then, my mom now actually wants to see it and tells everyone about it, my dad says I look like a girl on TV (some show he watches, but it's a compliment so I'm happy.) They 'll get over it. Tell them, let them be mad, and just prove them (and the rest of society) wrong by being awesome. :D good luck.
