They can be on around or near the foot, ankles, toes..? What do you think of them?
I may have a little 'innocent' foot fetish.. Not so much a fetish as I just really like pretty feet 'n toes :D

I have one...I love it...the pain during tattooing was totally worth it!! ( I have baby footprints with my baby girls initials.....it took me 6 yrs after she passed to come up with a way to commemorate her life)

My older sister has a small tattoo on her ankle, it's tasteful. Some guys like it, others don't.

If it's in a place where it can be covered easily. Because think about it, you have a tattoo on your wrist, ankle, neck, etc. if you go to a wedding, funeral, or other formal event. It will make you look trashy.

So if it's somewhere like your rib cage, hip, bottom of foot(that's a painful and sensitive spot) or anywhere that can be covered easily with clothing or shoes.

It also depends on the tattoo, PLEASE DON'T GET SOME GUYS NAME! My friend got a tattoo of her boyfriends name on her wrist, well they broke up and now she permanently has the name "Devin" tattooed on her wrist. But if you get your child's name tattooed on you, that's cool. But something subtle, a flower, butterfly, a small saying. One of my other sisters has a tattoo on her rib cage that says "Ti amo" it's I love you in Spanish(I think)

Also, when your older. Like in your 30s and you have kids...do you mind if your kids know you have a tattoo? Also, when your 60 years+ that tattoo is going to be wrinkly and gross. But that won't be so bad if you can cover it up easily.

Hey, what's up?

Well I had to answer this question because all my friends are into tattooing and such, so I have some input for you.

First of all: Have you thoroughly thought about the idea of a tattoo? I know it may seem cute and innocent now, but when you get to be about 85 years old, that tattoo on your boob may be a size of quarter now, but then it will look like a pancake.

Secondly: Tattoos, no matter where they are, are one of the most painful body modifications to go through. Pain scale(1-10).
Lower back- usually a beginner tat, most rate it as like a 5.
Breast-Nothing but meat there, and the ink gets warped by stretch marks.6.
Foot/Ankle- Theres alot of bone goin on there, so unless you are totally sure you want one, i wouldn't do it. ( most say 8-9)

Shoulder-also a beginner tat area, beware, arm size fluxuates with age, 3.
Hip- Also a boney area, its prolly the most easily hidden, it kinda says " LOOK AT ME" 6.

Knees, forearms,butt, back of neck- Usually people don't get a tat on these gnarly places, but remember people with sensitive skin should beware.. 9.

So if you are still dead on a tat, make sure you find a picture or a piece of artwork that you love, because alot of tattoo artist hate to do flash ( the stuff you see hanging on the walls) and make sure they sketch it out for you before hand and show you what it will look like before hand as well. They won't get pissed if you back out of it, if you think it will look bad. Ask lots of questions, and make sure they are certified and use safety precautions. ( gloves, iodine, wrapped needles) We don't want you getting Hepatitis C now, do we?

Pick something that is true to your personality, it will shine through and make for an awesome tat.

I'm going to be getting my first tattoo as soon as I turn 18; I want it in a place that wont move much when I get older. I've heard the ankle or the foot is a good spot, but I'm open to any ideas. I'm most likely going to get a tribal clover because I'm Irish, its going to be pretty small, so does anyone know any good places to find tattoo ideas on the web? Plus any places it would be good on the body?

my sister got a her a 4 leaf clover tattoo on her foot....& it looks really cute!...& i wouldnt figure it would move when u get older...

I am very much averse to them. They do nothing for a woman's attractiveness or femininity.
A lot of guys will say they find them attractive when what they mean is they think it means the woman is sexually available and adventurous, which is what most guys are really interested in.
