Cool tattoo places for guys?

Im trying to avoid a cliche. Ill make the design myself but i cannot decide on a place yet. Give me some ideas.
(id like it to be hidden when at work or something)

Nope, you'll look like a weak nerd with tattoos. A to become a cool tough guy, just start working out/training. If you're going to get a tattoo, do it for yourself not what you consider other think is cool. That way, you're not stuck with something you don't want on your body for the rest of your life.

anybody who gets a tattoo to be cool is ridiculous. i got my tattoos at first because i am intrigued by them. then over time i found a wonderful tattoo artist who does amazing custom tattoos and i have begun collecting tattoos as art. i have had my first three tattoos covered up because they just weren't up to the standards that i realized tattoos could be. i have one tattoo on the top of each of my feet and a tattoo on my back that is slowly but surely turning into a full back piece.

No one can really tell you what you should get without knowing anything about you. I'd suggest going to google or here on yahoo and just typing in things that interest you and go from there.

Being 16 (unless your parent is going with you to sign) you're not going to be able to get tattooed at a reputable shop. Take the time to really get some good designs together and make sure you get exactly what you want.

Some women look good with just one
it's intriguing, it's mystery. Others look
good with lots of them, or just a few..
It's a walking mural, just great art.

im looking for a tattoo for either my arm(s) or upper back or chest (one of these 3, i dont want 3 tattoos)

im a 20 year old guy,

- i dont like color tattoos or very basic tribal tattoos.
- im not religious, so no crosses or jesus please.
- i dont want a 'funny' cartoon though, so no spidermans etc...
- i dont like skulls or very 'weird' tattoos...
- i like mysterious tattoos, with deeper meanings and stuff..

i dont agree when people say 'a tattoo should be real personal, so we can help you because u got to find one yourself'. all im doing is finding inspiration here. i want a tattoo because i like tattoos and not because i want one that fits my personality etc etc etc....

so if you were going to answer that, dont bother.

What about something with dragons? Mysterious and you can pretty much do anything with them. I got two dragons (purple and blue) in the shape of a heart. Dragons are nice and gender neutral as well. If I knew you better and knew what you were into, you could base something off that too.

I love dragons because you can seriously do anything with them. There are simple tats you can get, or very extravagent ones as well. Phoenixes are also nice. Looking at that 2nd pic I kind of wish I got my two dragon tattoo made into just one dragon and one Phoenix but I didn't think of that at the time so oh well on that. Ha.

Depends on exactly what you are getting. I have seen guys get tattoos on their ribs and made them look a little.. gay. Sleeves are definitely sexy. That's my recommendation. =]

How painful are lower back tattoos and do you think 36 is too old to get one?

I've never gotten a tattoo and I didn't think I would. I love the way the lower back ones look even though they have that not so nice nickname. I'm a young 36. I'm not married and I don't have kids and I look more like I'm in my late 20's. I was just wondering how painful this area is to get a tattoo and also what you think would be a cool tattoo to get there? THANKS GUYS!

To answer your first question, the pain depends on several factors: 1) how well do you tolerate pain, and 2) how gentle is the tattoo artist. I tend to tolerate pain well, so it wasn't an issue with me. (I actually had to worry about muscles spasming.) I have 2 tattoos: one on my left ankle (my first tattoo) and one on my lower back. The ankle tattoo hurt a good deal, but it wasn't until after it had healed that I could tell that he really drilled me to excess. My second tattoo was much easier in that my new tattoo artist agreed that the first guy had really drilled me--new tattoo artist was MUCH gentler. Afterwards (for both tattoos), it felt as if I had bad razor burn for about a week.

To answer your second question, no, I don't think you're too old! When you select your tattoo, just be sure to pick one that you fall in love with--don't settle for one--get one you can't live without. This is a decision that you could easily live with for the rest of your life, so get something you love!

I wouldn't want to suggest a tattoo for you as I don't know you. Besides, a tattoo is a way of expressing yourself! Have fun looking for one that expresses you!

be careful there if you're realie gonna get the tattoo cuz a few of the people who replied here used a direct web translator which actually gives you literal but wrong answers!!

so you realie don't want to end up with a tattoo that's the wrong word and end up getting snickers from people who can read them you know...

cool guy in japanese - ãã£ããã人, but it's kinda long and awkward for a tattoo, so i suggest the chinese version, just one word "é·" for cool is better..

What do GIRLS think about guys with a lip piercing?

there lip piercing and i was thinking of piercing my lip and i was wonder if that would be cool and if girls think its cool guys with lip piercing and if i don't like it will it grow back?

if you like it, go for it! i think guys with a lip piercing are pretty hot, especially if they already have that dark, mysterious, aggro look. but it would probably be a while until i'd introduce him to my parents. oh and i heard that facial piercings can affect your chances of getting a job, unless you're applying at a tattoo/piercing place ;)

if you get it done and decide you don't like it anymore, you can grow it out. oral piercings tend to close/shrink rather quickly. you'd probably always be left with a very small indent/scar where the piercing was, but it's hardly noticeable.
