Q. For a long time now I've wanted a lot of tattoos including my chest area but I don't know what job will let you have tattoos and be able to show them, I was wanting to work in politics more like criminal side of it or something like that but I don't know if they will let you be heavily tattooed. If you know please let me know it would mean a lot to me.

Answer
Most quality jobs do not allow any visible tattoos.
You will find some fast food places, and retail stores, that allow small visible tattoos (as long as they're non offensive).

Of course, tattoo parlors allow you to have a lot of tattoos, and anything where you work for yourself.

There will be some "behind the scenes" jobs (which may be slightly better quality) that allow you to have tattoos, but you would usually be in a cubicle making calls or doing secretarial work.

Now then, you could go into a good office career with lots of tattoos, as long as the dress code either requires or allows you to wear long sleeves, etc.

Having something on your chest shouldn't affect your career opportunities much, as long as it can still be hidden in ordinary clothing (most uniforms have high necks, or button-up collars.

What is the tattoo called in the small of the back on guys?

Q. I know that people call the same tattoo on women a tramp stamp. Please let me know so I can answer my wife's question...lol...
In UFC fighter Gray Maynard has one and my wife asked me if it's called a tramp stamp as well..

Answer
thats like saying "whats the name for a tattoo on your neck?" there is no name. people identified it as a tramp stamp because, no offense, usually sluts have it done. there isnt a name for it. lower back tattoo is probably the right way to identify it.

Do small tattoos look unprofessional in the business world?

I'm thinking of getting a small music staff or something like that on the inside of my wrist to symbolize my love for music. Does this seem unprofessional to future employers? It's gunna be a small black treble clef, what do you think?

Answer
Yes, many employers frown on visible tattoos and that is just life. Loving music and loving tattoos is a wonderful thing but having one on your wrist isn't practical for most people. Ask yourself this: Why is it SO important that you flash a tiny and probably crummy looking tattoo to the entire world? Keep in mind the skin on your wrist doesn't age well so a tattoo in this spot won't either.

My advice is to get your ink in another location. Unless you have a solid career and make good money a hand, neck or face tattoo isn't cool. It will make you look unprofessional and it will make you look like a wannabe. Personally, I don't think the hands are an attractive place to get inked. The ink ends up fading and by that point it has probably caused the person too many problems in life to even be worth it.

I have almost my whole body tattooed. I made the decision a long time ago that I would never get anything on my hands neck or face. For my job it isn't practical. I also got my ink for me and I don't have to flash it to the whole world 24/7 in order to prove something.

I know it is really fashionable now for people to get tiny hand, wrist, neck and face tattoos. If people want to do that, it is their choice and I respect that. Personally though, I don't find it sexy. I would rather date a woman with a full sleeve that can be covered with clothing rather than some little, blotchy, faded hand or wrist tattoo. A nice sleeve or a nice back piece looks cool and you can choose who sees it and who doesn't...Tiny hand and wrist tattoos WILL make you look unprofessional and for the rest of your life everyone will be able to see it. Why do this to yourself?

Ayelet

Enya Azari thought she was dead. Twelve high velocity rounds to the abdomen were enough to terminate any and all known species. However, as the female awoke, it was neither golden gate nor blistering pit of eternal damnation that awaited her eyes. It was a sterile and antiseptic filled chamber. While Enya could comprehend her surroundings with astonishing clarity, her body, was an agonizing haze of charred flesh and mutilated tissue, all screaming in protest as the woman attempted to rise unto her elbows. Enya hissed in pain through gritted teeth, as the rough hospital garments rubbed against her tender, recently-dressed wounds. As bile began to gather in her throat, the woman swallowed hard before issuing a rasping, rather abrasive cough. Enya, unaware until the current, curved her head abruptly as she sensed a hand shift marginally upon her bed sheets. A mass of extensive, mussed brown hair met her narrowed eyes. The hand which had stirred bore an intricate tattoo; a pair of crossed swords slightly above the index knuckle. Enya released a tense breath. She knew this woman.

Enyaâs own fingers were bandaged and splinted, yet she shifted them all the same, strumming her right set upon the womanâs knuckles. The figure lurched forward; a pair of obsidian eyes meeting Enyaâs equally dusky irises.
âGreer.â Enya rasped, her voice resembling the coarse consistency of sandpaper.
âDear God, Enyaâ¦â The woman, Greer, seemed to stumble upon her own words in the apparent state of astonishment in which she displayed.

Enya managed a hoarse laugh, only to stifle the sound quickly at the discomfort in her esophagus. Greer reached rapidly to the womanâs bedside, hastily pouring a small flask of water from a sweating, metallic pitcher. Greer tipped Azariâs head back, assisting the woman as she attempted to swallow the cool liquid. The simple movement caused excruciating pain. Enya winced as her muscles strained to complete the motion. Greer, detecting her superiorâs agitation, pulled the glass away. Enya licked her lips, running her moist tongue over the cracked tissue.

âYou didnât think that Iâd awaken, did you?â Enya managed after several seconds of what appeared to be neck spasms.
Greerâs pale ears flushed. âYou were comatose for three and a half weeks. Not many held faith in your return.â She paused, visibly debating with her conscience. âDo youâ¦remember anything, at all?â
Enya strained her mind. A momentous flash of buzzing light filled the air in front of her eyes. She could feel the gravel catch her fall, the burning wetness that engulfed her seizing form. Enya blinked.
âNo, I remember nothing at all. Were you present?â
Greer shook her head, the long russet tendrils swinging in the wake. âI was at command. Flynn and Fuerst were at the scene, though.â
âAre they injured?â Enyaâs immediate concern for her colleagues sparked a small grin upon Greerâs lips.
âFuerst tore his anterior cruciate ligament, but heâll pull through. Both were quite concerned for your safety. Flynn vomited, if I recall correctly.â
âWhat away to begin his service career.â Enya commented dryly. Her vocal cords had begun to adapt to their newfangled, raucous state. She rotated her shoulders judiciously, cautious not to tear the numerous sutures.
Greer fixed her superior with a serious manifestation. âAre you alright Enya?â
âI feel as one would expect me to; aching, exhausted, and anxious to back on active duty.â Azari retorted. âWhich reminds me, when exactly will I be returning to the field?â
âWell, the surgeons are not quite sure. The bullet wounds are healing quite nicely, but the burns, well, they may take a while.â
âBurns?â Enya questioned. She wasn't aware of any burns. âWhat burns?

Answer
I would hire you on the spot.
