Ok well heres the thing Metallica are coming to nz later in the year which is where i live and i want to get a tattoo because of that. I was thinking 'Carpe Diem Baby' because thats one of their songs and it also means something 'seize the day' so its not necesseraly for metallica so i wont get sick of it.
Anyone know where the best place for a girl to get one done is, ankle, etc.
anything else u want to mention

This tattoo says my ex-girlfriends name, ASHLEY as an ambigram(meaning it says the same both ways), and naturally as we are no longer together, i need something done with it, any ideas are welcome. It doesnt have to remain an ambigram though.
My local tattooist wants to change the pattern slightly and repeat it round my arm, not what i had in mind, and quite costly to say the least.
Here is a photo of it, seriously any ideas are welcome!! sketches, pictures, etc are all welcome... http://s101.photobucket.com/albums/m53/drdoc109/?action=view¤t=IMG_1377.jpg

Since the name is in a design and not just stark lettering, it'll be easy to cover up. And it doesn't have to cover up your whole arm.
A lotta artists claim that with cover-ups you gotta tattoo the whole area to minimize the appearance of the lettering. It's not true.
My cousin recently got lettering covered by a coy fish- the shading in the scales worked wonders. Floral designs are great too but you're a guy so maybe not. anything detailed or with shading.
Here are some examples of excellent cover ups:

Also, please don't let anyone give you crap for getting a girl's name in the first place. We've all heard it before. I know the tattoo was worth it for the time being and you and her probably had a marvelous run while it lasted! Now that old tattoo is an excuse for a newer and better one. No regrets! ;)
