I have want to get a tattoo on my wrist for ever does it really hurt that bad?

To me all tattoos no matter where they are, the lining feels like a pinch that's being pulled/dragged and the shading feels like a sunburn someone keeps touching/lightly scratching. Keep in mind everyone's different, I've seen full grown men faint, and little pixie like girls take it like a champ.
