I really want a tattoo and i know I wont regret it but?

Q. Im 16 and I am really sure I want 4 stars tattooed on my right foot, I know I wont regret it but, my mom doesnt approve of it, it can easily be covered up

i have a tattoo, and when you've been through what it takes to have it, it feels very satisfying. however, rethink what your going to have done. i mean think about when your 40 years old, will you look at those stars in the same way that you would now, or would you see an ageing woman wearing a tattoo that looks too young for her?
if you want the stars, go for it, just make sure that you'll always like them, or it'll be very expensive and painful to remove.
and if your mother doesn't like it, maybe you should listen to her about it, she may have personal or other experiences to do with tattoos. or maybe she just doesn't want you to 'blemish your body'. my mother felt the same way, but in the end, its up to you.
i love my tattoo, ive had it a few years now, and i think ill always love it, even when im 60 :) hehe

flowers are beautiful pieces for tattoos. the thing about them, is that each flower has a significant meaning. i got a tiger lily on my hip because it represents strength and wealth. if you really love where you were born, you could get that state flower, etc etc.. here is a list of flower meanings.. if you google "flower meanings" you can find even more! hope this helped!

my tattoo i have is a tiger lily, and it represents strength and wealth..
im not wealthy, but i hope to be when i officially grow up! it represents my goals, and what i want in life. that way, every time i look at it, it pushes me to succeed and remember what im working so hard for :)

Tattoo about overcoming addiction?

Q. I cut myself for the first time my freshman year of hs and finished my sophomore year. I still struggled with it because even though im a pretty happy person, its an addiction for me, i like the feeling of it, so i want tattoo ideas for overcoming it or even still struggling with it, and i want either a picture representing it somehow, a one word tat or a short quote. i also don't regret this addiction because if i didn't do it in the first place i would just be sitting here wanting to try it for another reason,,, that's just how i am about everything ive done.

I am the same way. I do the same thing and im getting a koi fish tattoo because it means strength to overcome obstacles. Or, you can get TWLOHA Its an organization about people who cut. (www.twloha.com) You could get scissors.. to symbolize cutting... Or a razor :) Or whatever you use to cut. I know a girl who uses a key... Lol. so... Whatever it is that you use to cut... you could get that tatt'ed.
